So I have a proposed idea if nobody is already working on it, a rooted Marshmallow based ROM for the S5 Active G870A ... If at all possible...
If someone is up to it, I will compensate for your time and fund the project.
Any ideas or suggestions towards this ROM are welcome.

Is there any hope of getting a flashable stock ROM of the latest VZW Tab update (EI04)? There is only one of such on this forum now (Cubed), which would have been great if only without the heavy themeing. I am sure many are awaiting this and would appreciate it very much. If only the guy who did the cubed version could somehow cook up a stock version... if wishes were horses.
Here here! Stock with root and I am in heaven. The cubed ROMs are, with due respect, kind of annoying with all the customizing that I didn't want and all the weird transitions.
Perhaps if somebody asked me I might, I actually might have that, saved around here somewhere.
Try to keep inmind this is my first Samsung device and things are a lot different, and very new for me.

D, please help us...
Good day D,
There are a sizeable number of people on this forum who flashed the EF01 modem while upgrading from EC02 to EF01, and cannot update to EI04. If you can cook up a flashable Stock EI04 ROM (if possible, with the EI04 modem) we would be mighty grateful, me particularly. Please help. Thanks.
I disn't see your post with the link before posting. Thanks all the same. Very grateful.
I'm just looking for some opinions and reccomendations on what you guys use for rooted S5 . What is you go to ROM and Kernel for ATT S5 ?

Thread moved to Q&A where it should have been posted originally. Please post in the correct sections; only things that are "created" belong in development. Next thread like this in development will receive more than a warning. Thanks.

First off, this is the development thread, opinion threads and such should go into the General section.
Secondly, creating Best threads is not advised on xda since it's unfair to the devs working on their respective ROMs and everyone has a different view for "best".
Lastly, most ROMs are similar since we are limited to Stock ROMs for now. Dynamic Kat is what I'm using mostly because it comes with an optional GPE theme which gives you a break from looking at Stock firmware and has all the goodies you will find in other ROMs.
Sorry if this has been asked before, but my search did not find it and I definitely tried.
I do have a rooted S5 (VZW) and installed a lollipop ROM from the Verizon Development area. Is there a guide on how to install the unified ROMs or does it work the same way? I saw in one of the unified builds that TWRP is required, but I thought only SafeStrap is an option.
Can anyone guide me to an existing thread or shed some light on this for me, please? Thank you.
I posted this in a different thread, but I figured its worth creating a separate thread for this.
Does anyone have the CP_G925... file for the AT&T Galaxy S6 Edge (G925AUCS4CPG1) ? I was on AT&T but switched to t-mobile. I made a stupid mistake and installed CP_G925.... file on it. But I didnt realize the file was from older version (5.1.1 i think) and screwed up my phone. Does anyone have the CP_G925 file for the 6.0.1 so I can install it back on the phone? I feel really stupid. But I am hoping someone here can help. :crying:
See it u will find solution
