Ghost touch after screen replacement - Xperia Z1 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello folks, i replaced my screen on Z1 (third time now....). And I have one issue. When I use this aftermarket one, after a moment of usage it starts to touch itself.
Usually in the middle of the screen, and keeps touching everything that is in the middle. Sometimes I can make it stop by turning the screen off and on.
What I think I did is, that I somehow removed some electrical tape from somewhere in the phone. Do you have any ideas where should I look?
It is pretty annoying thing.

Does anyone else have an unresponsive touch screen?

I first noticed this on a running game where you have to hold down either the left or right side of the screen to move in that direction. It would usually register the first press, but not that I had held my finger down so I wasnt moving properly. I thought this was due to the game it's self rather than my phone.
I've just downloaded Naugh where you have to rotate the screen by touching either side of the phone, and again the same issue. It's really unresponsive - It will recognise the tap but not that i've held it, it will stop working. Occasionaly this will also happen when scrolling a page.
I did a quick google search and found that the Z1 had this issue, but havent found a fix.
Has anyone else experienced this? Or if not, any suggestions on figuring out whats wrong?
Edit: I recorded a video of exactly what I mean: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UW2gCWpThWc
I don't know if my problem with my screen is related to yours, but i'm experiencing some problems as well.
On the picture i attached in this post is a picture taken of my screen with a black background.
In the middle of the screen there is a slight discolouring, and in this particular spot the touch screen is very unresponsive, i'm especially noticing this when playing candy crush, making it almost impossible to swap the two candies in this particular spot
Both of these sound a bit like my problem was at first, but mine quickly got worse (in hours) and then I found the hairline crack in the screen.
Bottom corner and not in a part of the screen that displays anything - just the 'glass' front at the bottom - but a third of the screen near the middle doesn't respond to touch.
It gradually got worse over a couple of hours until it stopped responding altogether.

nexus 6 screen problems after lcd replacement

Hello. I need a help about my nexus 6 if someone understand its inner components .
I replaced the screen and after that everything works well except serverals screen flickerings and artefacts which appears randomly, not very often, especially on in cold temperature or if I bend or touch the phone harder. After flickering screen stays black and I'm forced to press hard right upper corner of the phone or bend it a little bit to get it back to work. I think there must be some flex cable maybe not well fixed, can you please help me which one can make this issue? Or could it be something else? Maybe whole new LCD part defective? On which part of the phone should I focus if I will disassemble it again?
Thank you very much.

Xperia Z3 Compact Screen Flickering at Random

I have a D5803 that came back from being serviced. The touchscreen went bad, so the whole assembly (screen + sensor) was replaced.
Since you have to almost completely disassembly the phone to get to the screen, I suspect something went wrong during the repair.
The screen is flickering at random. By flickering, imagine a bad fluorescent lamp: you can clearly see the brightness varying vary fast, causing a flicker effect. Also, imagina a CRT screen. The flicker stops when you refresh the screen, like cycling through the home screens of your phone.
The guy who repaired it said it is a bad resistor that controls the current going to the panel's backlight. His excuse is that the board is very thin and fragile and that something might happened during the repair service. He also said that if he tries to do something else, the problem might get worse/something else might break. I suspect the screen installed is not OEM and is of bad quality. Sometimes the screen keeps autopressing as if someone was actually touching the screen, but not. Wiping the screen down on soft clothes (cleaning it) solves the problem. The screen probably doesn't have an oleophobic coating.
So, my question is: Is this guy right or is he lying (trying to push me ****ty parts/service)? How to know?
Also, is it possible to have a slightly smaller sized screen part? Because it feels that the screen area has decreased a bit (bezel increased somewhat). But since I do not use this phone since almost two years ago, I might be imagining things.

Sudden problems with screen

I haven't had a single problem with my tablet until yesterday when after taking it from my bag after a car ride the screen only had some flickering lines on it. After applying a little pressure and hitting it lightly, it turned on, but now it's totally unusable. It didn't fall. What may have caused this?

Maybe the screen connector got loose. You'd have to open it to check.

Screen going black when calling..

I have installed Xposed and Sensor Disabler and have disabled the proximity sensor since I was guessing that it was that causing the error. But screen still goes black the second I call and stays black. Only way I can get it on is if called person hangs up or if I double tap the screen on button many times and then if I'm very lucky the screen turns on but easily turns black again very quickly.. What am I missing here?
old issue. Look for proximity sensor issue / failure. Happens with aftermarket screens, but also because of the ****ty sandwhich construction of the phone. There is about one mm friction possible for the frame, which leads to the slowly letting loose of the screen. Have a Z3 compact like that. tried glueing (B 7000 glue) but still. I can see the light inbetween frame and screen. Only a hardcover can possibly maybe prevent this screen from dis-attaching itsself from the frame. I rooted mine as to try disabling the proximity sensor, but I also failed doing that. I actually bought a Z1 compact again. Easy to fix. Thats why I thought the Z3 compact would be an upgrade. Well its not. Its build-quality is a nightmare. And repair also sucks. I even bought a screen plus frame new, and after installation I already saw space between the frame and the screen. Can't sell mine. Its useless. Stay away from this model. very, very bad.
