Short thread, but I discovered it since the release of the Galaxy Note_5.
In fact, The Samsung Galaxy Note 4 is called "Note4" without spaces within the Note word and the 4 number, just like the Note5. Just tap Settings, About Phone and look for the Device Name. If you're using an stock rom (or derivated from stock), you will notice that it says "Galaxy Note4". I think Samsung decided to change the name to close the gap with Galaxy S and A series (ie. Galaxy S6, A8 instead of S 6 or A 8).
Well, TLR: It's Note4 but we will write Note 4 forever. End of the Story :b
LOL
Thanks for the information!
Forgive me for posting this, but it does seem rather appropriate:

I read from another Note 4 xda forum that scroll capture feature from Note 5 has been ported to Note 4. Kyubi Note 5 Port V5 ROM the one that has it working according to the following thread. Does anyone know if any dev is working on similar port for N910T/N910T3? This is last missing killer feature from Note 5 that is not yet ported to TMO Note 4. So I hope it's on the way.

I flashed the Dark Lord Note 5 port for my Note 3 (T-Mobile N900T) and since its a Note 5 port and its being considered as a Note 5 (considered as in Settings it says Note 5 and the model number of a Note 5 (SM-920C) does this mean I have to/can use Note 5 kernels even though it is a port? I am new to ported ROMs.

Hello everyone
I read this post about the note 7 ROM here (https://forum.xda-developers.com/tm...om-n930tuvu1apgc-6-0-1-deodexed-knox-t3461513) and I really like it. I have though a question.
Actual Status: My Samsung galaxy note 5 N920T is already rooted since yesterday with odin and I installed the grace ux of the note 7 but it seems to be the ROM of the beta version. I have some struggles here because the S Note App and the S Pen features are combined. I have the S Note App from note 5 and note 7 and the S Pen features are mixed from both devices as well. I also can't dial or receive calls.
Questions: 1.Is the ROM provided fully equipped functions well?
2. If I want to install it do I need to root my device again and do I need to uninstall the actual ROM?
I am looking forward your answers.
Thanks in advance!
Best regards,
Samy
I light of recent developments, is root access still only available to Note 10+ Exynos chips. I have recently found some information. Indicating:
Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Plus is a large 6.80-inch screen smartphone boosted with 12 GB of RAM and powered by Samsung Exynos 9825 SoC and the other one with Snapdragon 855 chipset for US/China region users. If you are planning to unlock more features of your Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Plus, then you are at the right place. In this article, we will guide you on how to root Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Plus and unlock its bootloader using Magisk Patched boot.
Is it possible to root my note 10+ with Qualcomm Snapdragon chip 855. I have the most recent update of stock firmware and model Sm-975U. Build no. RPIA>200720.012.975USQU5ETLL. I hope I have posted in the right place, if need place avdise.
P.S I am not new to rooting, I have rooted both my Note 3 and my Note 8 using the instructions on XDA whitout any problems. I like the Note model, but not the restrictions and bloatware. If I purchase the devise I should be able I to do as wish. All Sansung needs to do is put in a disclaimer, like XDA, "proceed at your own risk".
