With newly released plugin Autotools you can also toggle immersive mode with pre-fixed easy settings (NO ROOT NEEDED).

This doesn't seem to be working? Can not use the AutoTools feature as the immersive mode has disappeared from the secure settings list
Thanks. Works great on my Nexus 6p.
It needs root though. Tasker doesn't work with Magisk, so I added "/sbin/su -c before your code, which forces root.
Thanks Tasker Master. Works Great.
Worked on Shortcutter app, with root, it's working like a charm and it's really useful to theme stock roms
thanks a lot!!!!

Any way to just disable quick settings altogether?
I was able to freeze the What's New via Titanium Backup, but I don't see quick settings anywhere in the list.
When I was on 4.3 and unrooted I just removed all the toggles and it didn't bother me too much. But now I have an empty tab.
I would use it if it weren't so limited. I can change a handful of settings. Would be useful if I could truly customize the quick settings. If I could open a much used app or run a tasker profile. Power toggles and the like working much better for me.

It's part of the launcher I think..
You will need to install another ROM that enables you to customize what you want

No, it's built into the system UI. You can remove it if you know a thing or do about modding.
Hello;
Not only am I new to the Note 5, but Android too. I come from Windows Phone (a Lumia 1520).
I can't find the option to have notifications wake up my screen. Supposedly is under Settings -> Sounds and Notifications, but it is not showing for me. See the screencap.
I downloaded Glimpse Notifications, but I figured it should be a stock option? Also, is there a way to increase the timeout for the screen when Glimpse Notifications turns it on?
Oh, I followed dlthe de-bloat and de-touchwiz guide from the General subforum. Used the basic xml to disable packages. Don't know if that's related.
Thanks for any guidence!

Hi,
If you use these toggles a lot (which you should), a quick edit now will make your life easier.
Organize the quick settings
Samsung-Galaxy-Note-5-toggles
1. Pull down the Quick Settings and tap EDIT in the top right corner
2. From here you can drag the toggles around as you like
3. There must be at least 5 toggles in the Quick Settings
TO remove unnecessarily apps
Let’s do it.
1.Open the app drawer to see all of your apps
2.Long-press on the app you’d like to remove
3.The app drawer will close and you’ll see an option for Disable or Uninstall
4.Drag the app to the trash can
If you would like to revive a disabled app you can go to Settings > Applications > Application manager. Swipe over to the Disabled tab and find the app.

This morning, I took a screenshot as normal, using the usual buttons (volume and power) and afterwards I got a notification from 'Breeno'.
"Breeno - Learn how to use screenshot ges..." (I cannot read the rest, but I assume is 'gestures'.)
A bit of research shows Breeno is the RealMe/Oppo proprietary voice assistant (ie Siri, Google Home, Bixby etc). Where did this come from? Supposed to be China-only software, as far as I can tell. No recent updates on the device. No app called Breeno on the device I can uninstall, that I can find. All notifications are turned off (the way I like it). So why did this pop up now? What changed? Is this something I need to worry about? What other unwanted 'bloatware' do I not know about?
Has this happened to anybody else recently?
I have three suggestions.

}
•Off gestures once in the screenshot settings.
Settings > Convenience tools > Screenshot >
Turn off [3-finger swipe down] and [3-finger touch and hold] once and take a screencapture.
Then, I didn't see the "Breeno" notification.
I tried with OPPO A73 (Android11) which I bought in Japan.
How to remove unwanted pre-installed apps -'bloatware'.
•Android Debug Bridge (adb)
https://developer.android.com/studio/command-line/adb
Look up the package name.
adb shell pm list package
Force disable
adb shell pm disable-user --user 0 <package name>

•Feedback to OPPO company
Ask them to fix the "Breeno" notification every time a screenshot is taken.

You cannot disable the icon because the Ubox app's icon is displaying like that so you can just stop notification from the Ubox app if you don't want to see it or just ignore it.
There is 1 solution to this, but it will disable notifications in status bar entirely.
Step 1: Download SetEdit app from Play store
Step 2: Open the app and try to find "status_bar_show_notification_icon"
3: Tap that line and select edit value
4: Replace 1 with 0
And done! If you want to revert it, change the value back to 1.
but that means also no more push notifications?

You will still receive push notifications, I believe.
You can. When rooted.
[Solved] bring back Notification Importance settings to hide icons from ONLY status bar
I loved to minimize notifications from some background services so that they don't appear on statusbar while I can check if they were running by peeking notification shade. Now it became impossible. From MIUI12 on Android11, Xiaomi deleted notification importance settings from any notification...
