Chromecast avl - Google Chromecast

Hi,
When I stream tv shows, sometimes the conversation sounds very quiet, but an explosion is very very loud.
Is there any sort of automatic volume leveler for the chromecast?
Thank you.

Short and Simple question to Nokia BH-503 BT Stereo Owners. Please help

Hello,
I just got my BH 503.
I am fairly satesfied but there is one thing that worries me.
When I pair the headset with my xperia and I pause the music playback for a second and listen closely I hear a very very shallow and distant high-pitched sound in the background that fades away once I have paused for more than 3 seconds.
It appears that the BT module inside the Headset is making this noice while it receives data.
Can you please check if you hear the same noise when you pause music playback for a second?
While playing it is also there only that you cannot hear it because the noise distracts you.
Thank you so much
Do you have any equalizers installed like SRS etc? I have 2 headsets that make the same noise when SRS is installed. None of them are Nokia though

Very low audio on HTCAlbum playing video

I'm definitely not able to change audio level on HCTAlbum when playing a video.
When I make a call with loudspeaker on, the audio level is very strong, so the phone itself has an hardware able to reach optimal level.
But when HTCAlbum plays a video, the audio level is so low that I've to put the phone near my ear, so I'm not able to see the video.
The wheel makes the video Rewind or FastForward, such as Up/Down arrow.
I tried pushing every button and also tapping, long-tapping, and so on, but I didn't find the way...
Please, any idea?
Thanks in advance
Alberto

Help with Audio for MP4 Video

I use DVD Catalyst to convert movies to playable MP4s on my HD+, but the audio quality is always pretty terrible. Specifically with headphones in, all I can really hear is bass. This is a big PITA on an airplane, and sometimes I just can't hear the main characters speaking at all. Have you guys experienced this and found any way around it, perhaps an EQ app that allows you to turn the bass down? TIA

There are a couple of options in DVD Catalyst you can use to adjust.
Go into (enable Power User) Global Settings and select the Tweaks tab.
In there you can turn off "Maximize Volume", which can help, or enable AC3 DRC.

Volume stabilization? Various News Channels are UP & DOWN on volume!!

So, I bought my Roku 2 a few years ago to play news & other things in my shower TV when I'm bathing.
And rarely ever use it. Because when I turn on a TV news channel (any of them), a video starts playing and I set my volume based on that.
Then the next video starts playing and it's soooo quiet that I can barely hear it.
Then the next video starts playing and it's sooo LOUD that I'm scrambling for the remote control to turn down the volume!
And there are no mods to stabilize the Roku volume.
So I'm thinking of ditching it for a Chromecast.
Are there any apps/mods that can normalize/stabilize volume levels for Chromecast?
I realize there is nothing that can be done about the source volume, we're just out-of-luck there because every broadcaster has their own source/gain/processing/whatever setup.
But I'm hoping there is some root/other mod for the Chromecast that will take the source volume and try to maintain a certain dB through the various videos?
Actually, I've got the latest Chromecast and I don't think you can root it yet?
I haven't searched.
But the topic stands. Does anyone know of a way to "normalize" volume levels? Sort of like how some TV's have "night mode" to prevent explosions from sounding too loud and waking others up.

Low Volume With monitor and Bluetooth speaker.

Hello, New member.
I have a 15.6 in HD portable monitor with HDMI input. Great picture, but not enough volume.
I paired my Jambox Bluetooth speaker that will normally blow you out of a room to Chromcast. with google TV.
Still low volume.
Will a bluetooth headphone amp help with this?
I don't need concert volume, but a little more would be nice as I wanted to use this as a travel movie wacthing device.
Any help is appreciated.
Since no one answered this, it probably is because your default volume isn't turned up. Go to settings, change audio to the default device (anything that isn't Bluetooth), back out. Turn up the volume with the remote to full. Go into audio and set the default to bluetooth.
