Solution for Sprint/Verizon HID issues?

So has anyone actually found a remedy for the HID connection issues with the CDMA Tabs?
I had the Tmo one but signal sucks where i'm at.
I am hesitating on the SGT for Sprint as the new HTC one should be coming soon.
The HID issue is a dealbreaker for me.
There is development going on in this area:

HID or SPP keyboard solution for verizon
If you want a solution for using a keyboard you need to find a keyboard that supports HID and SPP. The verizon bluetooth does support SPP. There is a program that provides drivers on the android market called "keypro". It's free to download and try and you can see which keyboards they support. I am waiting for my keyboard I got the freedom universal standard keyboard, it is older and cheaper than the current freedom universal 2 or freedom pro keyboard that also work with the freedom drivers. I accidentally bought the older model that wasnt really compatible with the VGT but the solution apparently is in this "keypro" android market program. Hope this helps somebody.
And I can verify that the Freedom Pro keyboard does work on a Sprint Galaxy Tab using freedom's driver. I have one and it works reliably.
the last OTA update fixed the HID BT issues for VZW at least, I can verify personally:

I cant even enable the blue tooth on my sprint tab.

[Q] [howto] rSap Samsung Galaxy S plus

Hi Guys,
Sorry if this is in the wrong forum!
Im kinda of a android noob and I just recieved my new card (VW Golf 6) with a RNS310 navigation system.
I can connect my Samsung Galaxy S plus with the system but then it says there is no network connection so i can't make phone calls or get called etc..
No i figured out this has to do with rSap, but how do i get this to work properly on my Galaxy S plus?
I have a standaard phone without any roms installed. (fabric std. T-Mobile)
If you need any more information please ask!
I just tried out my phone on a slightly older VW Golf with a RNS310 and there it doenst use RSAP.. and it works perfeclty.
Now i just only need to find a way to get RSAP to work properly or try to connect without it.. :S:S:S anyone?
Sorry for the bump, nobody that can fix this?
Unfortunately I don't have any bluetooth option in my VW Polo (2010 model) so I can't test it out. Maybe you can find any information or any hint on this page? http://forum.android-rsap.com/index.php
There's a pricey app on the market which works well. In bed at the no so can't look it up. I'm waiting on a clever ROM cook to integrate rsap support back into ICS . May be a while though

[Q] is there bluetooth tethering?

Can someone tell me if they have an option for bluetooth tethering? I felt bad they neutered that feature off the tmo note 3.
I just checked the display model. They took bluetooth tether off. Damn you tmobile, what do you have against bluetooth tethering?

[Q] Bluetooth rSAP support

Hi folks,
would it anyhow be possible to get bluetooth rsap working by using one of those custom roms or kernels available here ?
I'm pretty satisfied with this phone, but the missing rsap in combination with my car is annoying.
Could anyone help ?
Thanks a lot in advance !

is rSAP supported by stock rom? If so I can try to get it working on CM based ones.

No, rSAP is not supported in stock. Searching around in the net showed, that the kernel of the stock rom has been complied without rSAP.
build.prop shows:
Code:
#
# system property for Bluetooth SAP support
# Motorola disabled SAP
#
ro.qualcomm.bluetooth.sap=false
What I was wondering, wouldn't it be possible to just activate what Moto disabled in a custom rom/kernel ?
What else would be missing in an android build to provide access to the SIM by a bluetooth device ?
Best regards

Update for CM13
Hi Guys,
now, just a view days ago I updated my Moto G 2014 to CM13 aka Android 6.
The release of it gave new hope to get SAP support for my phone, as per feature list of Android Marshmallow, SAP is now natively included in Android:
[Quote from Android.com]
<snip>
Connectivity
More power efficient Bluetooth Low Energy (“BLE”) scanning for nearby beacons and your accessories.
Hotspot 2.0: Connect to compatible Wi-Fi networks seamlessly and securely.
Bluetooth SAP: Make calls from your carphone using your phone’s SIM.
Portable Wi-Fi hotspot now supports 5GHz frequency bands.
</snip>
I was a bit disappointed when I noticed, that there seems no option to activate SAP for a bluetooth connection.
My question now would be: Is there now SAP support in CM13 on Moto G 2014 ? When yes, could you give me a hint how to activate it ? When there is actually no support for SAP, is it planned to implement it ?
Thanks in advance, best regards

We aren't planning on implementing SAP and I doubt it's possible as it needs RIL driver support.
Code:
For this profile to work, the RIL driver must allow for this feature
to be used, and it must provide the API needed. The API is based on
protoBuf.
Please check the news on the android-rsap homepage. I found out how to enable rSAP on those Qualcomm phones where it did not work so far.

multiple Bluetooth speakers?

Hi,
I was wondering if it could be possible to port a feature from Samsung that allows multiple Bluetooth devices to be connected to the same phone? I don't know if this is something that already is implemented in Pie? Developer options show 'maximum connected Bluetooth devices: 5', so maybe there's something I'm missing?
That's a feature of Bluetooth 5.0. Not sure you can add support for a different Bluetooth version like this at all. Look at the Bluetooth version your phone supports.

Yes it has Bluetooth 5.0. I'll dig into it. Thank You for Your answer!
Ok so the device has to have the dual audio feature currently on Galaxy s8.
And the peripherals have to be 5.0 as well. So, no dice yet for me.
Someone has made a library:
