It's a tutorial to root (you can remove some branded app with that, but it's complicated to remove shutdown animation)
The easiest way is to flash a new rom !

Ciao Dariuzzo, la differenza tra root e flash di una nuova rom, è che con il root ti garantisci i diritti di superuser (come amministratore di sistema in windows per fare un esempio), quindi modifichi o cancelli quello che vuoi (tramite appositi programmi) anche nelle aree di sistema (può essere pericoloso). Flashare una nuova rom invece significa riscrivere la memoria interna del sistema interamente, applicando una versione differente, magari no-brand. Ho acquistato il Black per la mia compagna, anche il mio era TIM e andava uno schifo (leeeeento e scattoso). Così ho deciso di flashare la ROM ufficiale Europe, e adesso è una scheggia. Fammi sapere se ti serve una mano, ciao!

Hai provato a installare un'altra ROM? Io sono intenzionato visto che non so come uscirne fuori.

Can't downgrade P40 Pro ELS-N29 C432 from 11.0.0.260 to 10.1.0.131

Hello everyone,
I already used ProfessorJTJ method a few months ago and I downgraded my P40 Pro to 10.1.0.13 and it worked perfectly.
For some reasons, I did a reset and I'm trying to do the same steps but it's not working anymore!
Using HISuite.Proxy, I downloaded and installed the correct EMUI 10 rom for my phone in Hisuite, my phone rebooted and started to verify the update and it stopped at 4% and failed "Software install failed"
I tried different Hisuite versions (11.0.0.510 & 10.1.0.510) and different roms (10.1.0.131 & 10.1.0.176) but it still failing to downgrade...
Is there anyone facing the same problem recently? Is there any solution for this? Or is there a solution to get push notification on the phone?
This is my phone details:
Base Software: ELS-LGRP4-OVS 11.0.0.260
Cust Software: ELS-N29-CUST 11.0.0.3(C432)
Preload Software: ELS-N29-PRELOAD 11.0.0.3(C432R5)
Attached is the error message that I always receive.

You are the first one with P40 Pro in this situation. EMUI 11.0.0.260 is guilty. Huawei made all this new firmware versions for (as I know) P40 Pro, P40 Pro+ and Mate 30 Pro without downgrade possibilities.
Do you still have GMS installed? If you already made reset to factory settings...it is not good.

For now, I don't think there's a solution...​badmania98 & ProfessorJTJ are working on it and I'm sure there will be one in the future for all of us.​

What about downgrading first to 11.0.0.1xx and after from that version to the 10.1.0.131? Should we try it?

What haven't tryied yet is to use a NM card and dload firmwares. Downgrading from higher to lower, with baby steps.

Somebody is trying right now. We will see. Downgrading from the last version is more unusual now that it has been before.

good morning everyone I bought this Beautiful Phone from a friend of mine and I have a problem with the Downgrade with Huawei p40 pro ELS-N29 C432R6 I have already done a downgrade installed GMS everything is working perfectly then I did A Factory Reset because it was a bit jerky also I had applied to be a developer for the Emui 12 beta
then I did the procedure as always and from here on I was no longer able to downgrade, currently remaining the version V.11.0.0.260 I tried Varie Gude with Hisuite Proxy both with HiSuite_11.0.0.510_OVE and with HiSuite_10.1.0.550 nothing is wrong after having done the whole procedure once finished when the phone restarts it comes out that it is installing the Firmware but at 4% it freezes and the message appears as in the figure
I tried to see on the FASTBOOT and "PHONE Locker" comes out can you help me understand what I have to do To say that the phone works perfectly even with the two SIMs
when I go to Erecovery it finds me and installs only the new version 12 .0.0.218 that I have already installed BUT THEN RETURNED ON THE PREVIOUS version V.11.0.0.260 STAYING HERE BLOCKED THROUGH Hisuit
