Maybe I have horrible luck with Nexus devices but my Nexus 6 turned itself off and will not turn back on.
I was listening to youtube music on my bluetooth speaker and it shuts off(had about 75% charge) and became none responsive. after couple of music Holding series of buttons plugging in original/multiple Samsung cables has no effects on it what so ever. I had opened it and checked if battery is ok but battery isn't the issue. Any suggestion before I sell this as is on eBay?
And when you Holding the Power button for 10 sec?

What's it say when you plug it into a pc
Something similar happened to me when i was listening to music on YouTube. The touch screen stopped working, I could turn the phone off and back on again but the touch sensors weren't working at all. So i unplugged the battery and kept it out for couple minutes and plugged it back in and everything started working once again. But when i restarted the phone, it wouldn't turn back on. I kept using different wires and chargers and the screen lit up after around 20 minutes. I held all the buttons while messing around with chargers. You could try letting it charge for a bit and put it in recovery if its possible.

OK worth a try. I am going to open it up and let it sit for a day.
If nothing works, your motherboard might have shorted out maybe from condensation or maybe a faulty connection. If the screen doesn't turn at all no matter what you do and there are no vibrations when getting into the bootloader then you are out of luck as its most likely the motherboard. But if there are vibrations or any sound then its the screen. I'm not gonna say it with certainty but you could possibly get a new battery and see if it's the battery(I know you said its not the battery but unless you can actually see inside the battery you cannot say its not the battery). The way i see it is you can buy a replacement battery for $20 tops and if it ends up working then you saved the phone but if it doesn't then you lose $20 max and you can sell it.

It looks like you've read my mind.
I had replaced one with supposedly OEM end of last year., but it won't hurt to spend like $20 and see if it isn't battery issue.
Thanks,

What the heck is going on?
I'm pretty sure this has nothing to do with the ROM, because it did this with the factory ROM, Manila 2d and now WM6.5.
I turned the phone off, unplugged it, removed the battery. I put the battery back in, replace the cover and press the power button. Nothing happens. I plug the phone back in to the wall charger and put power, it turns on....for about 3 seconds then reboots and it would seem that it will do this for as long as I let it go. If I unplug the phone while this is going on, it will die.
The last time this happened, it took it about a day and a half to sort itself out. It almost seems like its a battery issue.
Any thoughts or ideas?
UPDATE!
I took the sim card out of the phone for a few seconds and the phone seems to be working now.... But its been up and running for about 20 minute now with no sings of acting up.

tried to charge the pda all night the light stayed orange and never turned green indicating full charge. tried hard reset and when it goes in to prepare rom it shuts off like dead battery. when i plug in the pda to charge battery and then turn on the phone it freezes on splash screen. if i turn on phone then plug in to charge it acts like i havn't pluged in charger. is it the pda or battery?
I am not 100% sure on this, but to me it sounds like the battery.. and that is a MUICH cheaper option to test out... unfortunatly you ahveto wait for shippng typicalyl unless you have a friend who has the same phone.. I got 2 backups and a stand alone charger now... The other option could be your USB port... I have not heard this specific problem with them.... but I am a PC tech and have seen very simmilar problems with laptops... Usually the first think to for is the power port... Just like out phone, if the device is not on a flat surface and such when it is plugging it, it tweaks the port and it eventualyl breaks... on laptops it is not uncommon that when plugged in, the LEF wil light up saying it is getting power to charge, but it enver charges the battery, and even sometimes can;t power up the full system.. .It sort of sounds like this is what you phone is doing as well.. .If that is the problem the stand alone charger would work (my son broke off his usb all together and now syncs via bluetooth and jsut changes batteries.. he has 3 himself as well) If you search online, you can usualyl find a kti with a battery or 2 and a charger/dockign station for under $20US total. Good luck!

tried bootloader and installed official att rom and never shut off. when it was finished with install same issues appeared. help
For anyone facing this issue I would not recommend wasting money on a new battery as this issue has been around with few users since the Kaiser "Tilt" first came out and I've never seen ANY reports that a new battery fixes this. People have bought new batteries, fully charged their battery from a docking station, tried their friends fully charged battery all with the same result. I had this power down issue a Looong time ago my first week in with the Kaiser and managed a fix and am using the same battery now. Although it seems the battery is not being fully charged it's important to leave it charging until you'd assume it's fully charged and get into bootloader mode and flash an official htc Tytn 2 rom. It should flash completely, and the fact that it does not die immediately as on normal boot indicates it is not the battery but the rom. It did take me the whole afternoon of Flashing, recharging and repeating before it finally kicked in. Also, from reading older posts, it seems most if not all users like myself fixed this by flashing the older official htc wm 6.0; worth a shot at least.

Yup, that is what I had to today (I hard reset, actually), with barely enough battery life to do this.
Then the bloody unit came up and was charging - amazing, really!
(Was using the official HTC 6.1 upgraded WindowsMobile OS)
here is my 2 cents....
I owned five Tilts, replaced four of them with warranty issues ... so i have faced this dilemma on at least two of them.
First see if the USB tongue is loose. To do this try to gently tap it with the stylus. If the tongue inside the USB port is loose then you will be facing rebooting and other issues and troubles in the future. The USB tongue gets used and jerked every time you connect your device to your PC or wired headset. If you are still under warranty and the USB connector tongue is loose I recommend returning the phone ( if you still can) and getting a replacement. There is no easy fix for a loose USB connection tongue as i have taken one apart and it is very difficult to repair or replace and very easy to mess it up further.
So, my advice to all Kaiser owners... be careful when plugging and unplugging your phones through the USB. Do it gently as the connectors are very fragile.
For those that have the above issues, I recommend using a separate battery charger tray, avoid plugging the USB as much as you can, and if you must, then administer extra care. The rebooting will stop if you plug the USB cable to the device and move it up and down a hair then holding steady. And most likely you will not get a full charge or even a partial charge. The biggest culprit to this problem is car chargers, and second, is inserting the stylus by mistake (when it is dark and hard to see) in the USB port instead of the Reset hole by accident.
So, I've run into something that is scaring the crap out of me lol. If I turn off and on the phone while it is on the charger, the phone won't turn back on, it gives me the screen that the phone needs to be restored...if it isn't on the charger, all is well...anybody else able to reproduce this?
mine just reboots when you switch it off while on charge, but I charge from the mains, so not sure if its something it does from USB
I actually think my phone is faulty...it doesn't reboot at all...does the restore screen on or off the charger...gotta pull the battery to reboot...

I would tell your carrier about it and see if they can fix / replace it or find a solution.
I had the device replaced, it was faulty, all good with this one, and its much snappier, that one had some issue. All is great now, amazing phone
I had that happen once. But I let the phone die after buying it. So it didn't really have a charger to do anything. I put the phone into bootloader then pulled the battery. Haven't seen it since.
I had similar. Phone had no batt, so put it on charge (in a 3rd party car charger), and restarted. Showed a blank screen. Tried multiple times, removing the battery for over 30 seconds. I really thought it was bricked.
Put it on the official main charger and left it until fully charged and it worked fine. This happened about a week ago and its been fine since. So there could be a bug, but seems ok.
I think I figured it out, at least on my phone... I found that if I hold down the camera button, even slightly, while im rebooting the phone it will go into the restore screen. Turns out that the skin I have my phone in slightly depresses the camera button, and was causing this issue over and over again. I wonder if the same thing is happening while you guys are plugging in the phone? Anyone care to try it out?

Hi everyone ! I bought an xperia T two months ago, everything was perfect until this morning ! I was listenning to my music suddenly the phone turned off and when i tried to turn it on nothing happened ! I tried to hold the volume+ button and the power button but no vibrations or led light. I can't use flashtool because the phone can't boot on flashmode ! I plugged the phone on charge for several hours but nothing ! I really need some help because i can't send it back to sony !
Please guys i need help cuz i can't afford buying a new phone !
try pressing the power button while putting it on a charge. if it vibrates or a led comes it still is alive. If that doesnt work try a rubber band around the power button and then on the charge for 24 hours.

If its on charge get it off the charge and try vol+ and power button and hold it for a half minute till you feel vibrate. if you dont see the vibration.
If that doesnt work get it off the charge and try pressing power button and then put the usb in.
I keep coming back to these threads whenever my Experia T is acting up again. I finally bit the bullet and went the hardware way as described in a comment on Youtube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KWox7kCygRE
"In the end I fixed this problem by removing the back cover (one screw in where the SIM card goes) and detaching the battery supply from the phone. After a minute or two I reattached the battery supply (its a little yellow tab beside where you plug in the charger) and put the cover back on, plugged into charger and it started charging as normal."
It's surprisingly simple, to be honest.

I totally agree with you, this really works!
So I have my Z1 for 5 weeks now and I used some times in my pool in home to take some pictures, I've always been cautious with the flaps and everything, I even immerse it in rice overnight when I use it in water just to be safe. Today I used normally, took some pics with girlfriend, everything worked great, after taking the pictures I left it on the table and about 1 hour later I tried to use it and it was blank (me and the phone were completely dry by that time). If I connect to wall charger or USB the led flash red twice and then blanks. I'll leave overnight charging now but I have no idea what to do. Tried turning off using the red thingy, turning on holding volume up or down but nothing works.
Can anyone help or I will have to send it for warranty?
Oh, and I checked and not a single drop of water entered the phone (apparently).

You seem a little paranoid about water, if water had messed your phone up you probably wouldn't even get a red flashing light (as the motherboard would be fried) so you don't need to worry about water damage.
Firstly, presume everything you had on your phone is now gone. Sorry!
Follow these simple steps:
Press & hold the power button and volume up until it vibrates 3 times, then you can go ahead and try to turn it on. Quote me when you reply so I can see it.
Could you also plug it in to your laptop, does the computer read that a device is being connected?
If that doesn't work, we'll try some other stuff and explore some threads! Lots of links for bricked phones. Sounds like it's bricked..

Good thing it's not water!
Did it for over a minute and nothing happens. I've tried that earlier too.
Plugging it on the PC makes the sound of device connected, the red light turns on for a while (about 2 or 3 seconds, no blinking) and then it turns off with the sound of device disconnected.

I've already tried some solutions there and will try others now.
PC Companion won't detect phone. Same with Update Service.
Worst case I'll leave it charging for 12 hours. Thanks for the help, I'll come back later with some feedback. I'll probably get in touch with warranty tomorrow morning.

Try all the steps again, otherwise I really not sure what's happened. Some people report days later it comes back on, etc. Hopefully someone else may have an insight to what's happened, but personally I don't think your phone is buggered.
Has this been resolved? I just ran into a similar problem with my week old Xperia Z1 Compact. It was working fine until one afternoon, it was hot and wouldn't turn on. Got the blinking red lights and won't charge. Also won't do anything with the Power and Volume+ Combination.

I went in to get my Note 4 off my desk, and found it with a blue LED on, and dead. I pulled the battery, held the power button down a couple minutes to completely dump any electricity, and no go. Won't show charge when plugged to USB, different battery same thing.
So, I'm presuming something is definitely bad in the hardware.
Debating whether I should bother dropping it by a cell phone repair shop, or just invest in another.
Wondering if anyone had had success ressurecting a phone in this condition.
Thoughts?

He did that. Does it show up when connected to a computer?
Is an interesting saga.
I tried hooking to a computer, different USB cable, etc.
Interestingly, I took it to a repair shop, they plugged it to a charger (which I had done) and it started charging. Turned it on and it booted. I took it home and finished charging and am using it now.

I've got the same problem. seems like the phone overheats for a bit. Right now, I cannot powercycle unless I remove the battery and let the phone sit for anywhere from 30 minutes to 8 hours.
All I know for sure is that the problem started when I was trying to upgrade the phone from KitKat.
Basically, at this point, I need to do my best to not let the battery run all the way down, unless I am ok without the phone for a while.
