Hi, im trying to downgrade from 6.0.1 to 5.1.1 but fails in odin in sboot...i read somethign about downgrade protection in latest firmwares, how can i avoid/skip this protection to donwgrade.
I did a full data wipe factory reset before, usb degguging, unknown resources, etc but it fail in sboot. im using the 4 files firmware trying to donwgrade

I have the D5803 running 5.0.2 (stock rooted) and it recently got an OTA but after the download it says "Could not verify update" is there a way to fix this?
OTA's does not work in many cases if you've modified your system partition, which you've done by rooting your phone. To upgrade to newer firmware version, either flash a stock firmware from a .zip file or use Flashtool.
Can anyone provide me a working link to download 5.0 lolipop or newer firmware? OTA isn't working for me and I do not care about root nor wan it. Just stock firmware 5.0 or higher. Thank you.
I bricked my phone I was running firmware 5.1.1 and I tried to downgrade to 4.4.2 and now it won't boot. What are my options?

Just warning.
New update DQC1 contain new boot-loader version 6. If you update you not going to be able to downgrade an till we have full odin file of this new firmware. Odin back to privies firmware will not work.

I have samsung note 5 with android 7.0 stock rom, but I want to downgrade to 6.0.1, downloaded the rom from sammobile, i open OEM UNLOCKING and enable usb debugging, when i start on odin it says failed, tried few times but still same. Is it another way to downgrade,? am i doing a mistake i dont know. waiting your help
Downgrade is not allowed after some newer builds of Nougat.

you cannot flash stock marshmallow occe you upgraded to nougat bootloader. But i want to know about roms, Can i flash marshmallow roms once im on the latest version of nougat? will i lose efs etc?

Use mm custom roms u can't just install stock firmware using odin
I just bought a T-719Y off eBay, and it comes with Nougat installed out of the box despite the description saying it is Marshmallow.
I have tried simply downgrading the device with Odin using a .md5 for my specific device. However, the Tab shows an error saying

I assume this is because the bootloader for Nougat is newer than Marshmallow.
Is there anyway to downgrade the bootloader itself? Or am I mistaken about this assumption? Searches on downgrading this device seem to imply that flashing the file with ODIN is enough. Is an unlocked bootloader necessary for a downgrade?
