Nexus 6 only. Boot splash logo based on nexus bootloader files.
But you can flash bootanimation, just delete *.bin file from zip.

Would it be possible to create a version without the XDA logo.

Tried flashing both zip files. The splash (normal and XDA) both work, but the Pixel boot animation does not work. I only get the old MM bootanimation with your Dark Google boot splash. Not sure why or how to fix.

Was running the white version of the Pixel boot animation, and can confirm no change in boot animation after flashing. I even extracted the boot animation from the normal version and manually placed it in /system/media/, and it is still the normal white Pixel boot animation.

this is flashable zip file. so you need custom recovery like CWM.
and you'd better to backup your /system/app/PhaseBeam.apk because it looks like not working with some roms...

Nexus 4g here and it works fine.
I've downloaded the 3rd edition and extracted it and just pushed it right into system/app and it works fine
So I imagine that the flashable zip it is in should also work.
Great work! Wish I knew how to edit these lol. I tried to make a red version but apparently just changing images does nothing lmao.

download first version and edit png files in /res/drawable-nodpi/.

Well that's a shame... who cares if the way the mod is done is not clean or "stupid" if the end result is what you have in op then that's all that matters. Why waste your hard work to do this and limit it to stock only rooms, kinda silly. Someone could decompile and compare to stock but would take a lot more work then sharing.
The reason why most themes are out the is because everyone shares and learns from each other.

[Logo][Bootanimation] Moto G4 Plus for Moto X Pure/Style

Here are the new Moto logo and bootanimation from the Moto G4 Plus.
They are separate flashable zips in case you only want one or the other, but i recommend using them together. :good:
I have tested them on my Moto X Pure(XT1575) but they should work on the Style as well. However, make proper backups just in case.

It was definitely the updater script. Try this one.
Edit: Logo zip updated in OP

I agree about Lenovo. They have destroyed Motorola, but I think what Google did was just as bad. Buying them just to get patents then selling them off to a shady company. But the logo is only there for a second or so. The rest of it looks good.
I liked the boot image so I blacked it out and gave it a much more Googlish feel. I have the vectors files if anyone is interested in other color pallets. (Includes boot+battery).
Not flashable via TWRP
Unzip and flash via fastboot.
Code:
fastboot flash logo logo.bin

Is the battery animated when charging? It was static for me so I wasn't sure if there was a phone issue (it wasn't charging) or just a file issue with boot logo.
Thanks!

It's only the bootloaders image, to my knowledge there isn't a way to change those animations.

Could you post the vector files...thanks!
Here you are. I worked on a couple others so they might be hidden in layers.

It's possible that the boot animation is located somewhere else, especially if it's a newer version of Android. The logo.bin flashes to it's own partition. It should always work. Sorry if that's not much help. I haven't touched this in a long time lol. But if you can find where the boot animation goes in /system, you should be able to replace it.
