Ok,
So I've been running a 5.11 ROM for a while now and would like to update to 6. I've upgraded from DOK2 to EPJ2. Yet I haven't found a d/l of the stock ROM. Yes, I've searched. It's been a while since I've posted here so my search skills my be off. But if any of you could help me out with a link that would be super awesome. I've got TWRP, ODIN and SuperSU ready to go. I just need the link to the stock ROM for a 910T Android 6.x.
Thanks in advance.

is there a version of this that we can apply without loosing root?
just want a stock version w/ root
I am at android version 2.2 build FRG22D rooted
and just want to get the FRG83D update
similar to what Pete does
http://www.peteralfonso.com/p/downloads.html
after looking at the update list I would only be interested in the new twitter app, new gmail app, and news/weather widget. It seems it might just be easier to find these apk's individually and install on FRG22D rather than deal with the upgrade.
Unless there's something else worthwhile in the upgrade that I'm missing...
I didn't notice anything different after upgrading.

Honestly...I still do it the old fashioned way, and it hasn't served me wrong.
Good old RSD Lite lol.
RSDLite still works.
I know that for the X, z4 still works too. I'd imagine it does the D1 too.
Nope, z4root doesn't work anymore on D1

Did you use the small FRG83D-from-FRG22D file (under the OTA section) or the full FRG83 DeOdexed?
Or is that smaller file just what Verizon sent out?
I successfully rooted my Droid1 using SuperOneClick tonight.Downloaded it from XDA tonight. It reverts back to frg83.I am a complete dummy but the instructions were simple.

ok, not knowing what was added in Peter's build, I used a rooted stock build posted by metiCkOne (link below) that included busybox and superuser.
I didn't even wipe data, updated on my rooted FRG22D with SPRecovery.
After that I just re-installed my preferred kernel update to get a higher overclock setting.

hi,i used the latest download from peteralfonso.com website -its for stock roms -a star is beside it to let you know its the latest version....just click on deodexed(i used this version*)-it will download to rom manager-flash using clockwork mod recovery-this worked for me -i was rooted on 2.2 before i flashed this and didn't lose root afterwards....hope i answered your question,i'm still new at using android os(coming from apple os)
ps:use your xda app on your android phone-much easier to apply downloads
To everybody trying to root just factory reset and then use a one click rooting method
No ever since i got froyo second update FRF22 i never being able to get 1 click root solution.

Not only does z4 not work on the new OTA 2.2.1, downloading apk files does not work for me as well. Anyone else have major issues with the 2.2.1?
superone on D1 2.2.1
followed the instructions: downloaded and opened on windows, hit run root, 10" later I was on the net on my ipad, laptop, and wii. awesome>
I've looked around and i cant find any answers. All help is appreciated.
Thanks
I'm in the same boat. Can somebody brilliant help us out?
Have you guys tried superoneclick? It worked on the last update and I'm pretty sure motorola only added 2 minor changes to this update
I've tried it many times with no success but I got it to work with an older version. Now I need to find a good rom lol.

I was having issues with root not working properly with newer versions of Superoneclick last night and got around it by using Superoneclick 1.7 which has the rageagainstthecage method (removed after version 1.7).
Anyone know any good roms for 2.2.3?

Since 2.2.3 is an antiquated version of Android, there are no ROMs based on it. All Droid developers have put their efforts into maintaining Gingerbread (2.3.x) on the phone.
Ok but does anyone why my phone is showing the triangle and exclamation point tin g when I try to reboot into cwmz?

I just sucessfully rooted my wife's original Verizon Moto Droid using superoneclick. It came from the one click thread found here --> http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=803682
The key was to go go the bottom of the page and download the 2.2 version and not the 2.3
Hope this helps
I just got a droid a couple days ago and had this problem. What i did to fix it was used rsdlite to downgrade using the .sbf file for android version 2.2.2. Once at stock android 2.2.2 i rooted(search for tutorials its pretty easy). Once your rooted download rom manager. If you go into rom manager, flask clockworkmod recovery, then browse the downloable roms on rom manager you can find Peter Alfonso's roms. He has a rooted stock 2.2.3 rom. It is a long process but it works for me after not being able to find a way to root 2.2.3. Hope this long explanation helps.

You need to rename a file on your /system partition that overwrites clockwork.
http://androidforums.com/droid-all-...k-custom-recovery-wont-stick.html#post1448841
You will need to remount /system as read-write to do this.
Can you provide more detail? Where did you find the 2.2.2 .sbf file?

here you guys go:
http://modmymobile.com/forums/491-r...v1-9-5-root-unroot-enable-non-market-app.html
There is a link to 1.7 in the first post.
I have a Galaxy Note from Telstra Australia. This is a N7000B (not just N7000). I've searched all the treads and couldn't find a Jelly Bean ROM that can be used, nor any mention of people successfully flashed an N7000 ROM to this Telstra phone. Please help, I'm sure there is other users with same question. Thanks all.
PS: hope this is the right place to post this in this forum.
I'm using a N7000B from Telstra too. I've tried Ultimate ROM, XXLSA/C Leaks, Paranoid Android and a few others and all have worked fine.
Thanks for that. Did it change to N7000 then. Did you use CWM or Odin.
Thanks again for reply. Sorry for all the questions new to Android

I've got the same phone, N7000b from Telstra. Currently running Paranoid Android 2.57.2 by Utacka and generally any N7000 non-b rom will install and run fine, though I have had some issues as the install ages. Usually a full wipe fixes any of these issues.
If you have the stock rom still installed, I'd be quite keen to get a copy off you. Is it ICS or still on GB?
I started off by following the instructions on this thread to get root. I had to downgrade the firmware using Odin, then root it as described in post #3 of that thread.
I've described the steps before - more info here
Thanks guys for your response and help. It gave me confidence and now I'm on PhilZ 3.99 kernel and Ultimate rom v 5.1. Works smoothly with no boot loop issues. might be the PhilZ 3.99 that solved it.
I found this stock rom for our Telstra N7000B and tested the md5 with odin. Worked great and reverted back to stock.

I've tried flashing abysskernel4.2 and carbonROM but it failed. How did you flash Paranoid Android?
Has anyone tried to go back to Android 4.4 after flashing lollipop 5.0?
I haven't been able to flash any Android 4.4 ROM after installing. Does anyone have any idea on how to do so?
Any help is truly appreciate.
Where did you get Lollipop from? Is there some sort of OTA that I'm unaware of? Do you have an SM-N910T or some other variant?
If you flashed a Lollipop ROM like CM or Liquid Smooth from the development section you should be able to Odin back to stock no problem. As far as I know there is no official Lollipop for the T-Mobile Note 4..

Yes. I installed Liquidsmooth from the development section. But Odin does not recognize my phone.
I have the T-Mobile Galaxy Note 4.
BTW thanks for the rapid help!
Do a wipe in team win recovery. Cache, Dalvick cache, and data.
Then flash a 4.4.4 rom.
I've done it many many times, without issue
Ok. It seems like there was a issue with the phone's drivers. Now Odin recognizes my phone.
Now the question is: I have some android 4.4 Roms in my sdcard such as Infamous v8, DinamicKat etc. How do I flash one of them through Odin since I have not been able to do it through TWRP in recovery mode?
Thanks again for the help.
Can't flash those through Odin. You need to Odin back to stock, root, flash TWRP, then load a custom ROM.
You see anything good in LolliPop?
Well, the UI is different (doesn't mean better), I'm running Liquidsmooth beta. There are a ton of features missing on this ROM. That's the reason for why Im going black to kitkat 4.4

Flash in TWRP CM12 port you'll get the lolipop UI from it. Works great super smooth but audio randomly goes super loud. Other people running CM12 across other devices are having this issue too.

Hey guys, I think I've made a huge mistake. I manually swapped some files in order to get AllianceRom v8.1 from the international forum working on my ATT S5, but it didn't contain root. I flashed the rom the same way that I would have flashed Twisted Lollipop as the discussion in the general section is going. Can I still get root back/ flash to rooted lollipop?

Never mind guys, I fixed it. I Odined back using the NCE version that muniz_ri posted. So happy right now.
So alliance is working on att s5 now as well? I just flashed twisted today but I'm a flashoholic. What needs to be done to maintain root?
If I had to guess, just flash the SuperSU binaries from Chainfire's post through Flashfire and it should work.
I'm at work (for att lol) but I might try and flash it tonight. I'll post back on my results
Sounds like you still probably had root, if you had installed superSU from the playstore you wouldve been fine.
