Good afternoon:
I introduce myself, my name is Pablo, and I live in Malaga (Spain), a few days ago by aliexpress, buy an android radio, specify for my car, install it, and it did not work the sound of music videos or anything, just the pi pi pi , The volume wheel, or touch the screen, also note, that when I came out on the screen, the volume, the numbers from 0 to 30 almost did not look, very blurred, I returned it because I think it does not work, and I'm waiting for the refund to buy another, someone else has happened? Is it radio fault that was wrong? I installed an update that sent me, but it was still the same, android 5.1 rockchip rk3188, specifies for peugeot 407, apart from the steering wheel only the volume worked, could not change anything else, nothing came out on the screen, Greetings to all.
Thank you so much

Everytime i connect the headphones it tries to autodial a name in my contacts list.
And if i connect the radio it doest it nonstop... i heard the "bip" and then its like if it wanted to dial a name...
It sounds strange..but it is like that.
hope somenone knows what im talking about cause im gettting nuts...
Spanish original vodafone rom, not that many programs installed, although started doing it after installing thumbcal and pocketmax alarm today.. although I dont think that is the problem since i restored with spb backap a 1 month ago backup i made and still same headphones problem.
Have checked the headphone button.. and it seems to be ok (at first I though if maybe was stuck..)
Got the same problem. Did anyone know how to solve it?
sounds to me like a faulty headset. Try to connect a different set of headphones and see if it acts the same way.
I got same problem
Hi, your problem solved? my HTC diamond got the same problem, so irritating.
I have the same problem, I was told it was that the button on the headphones was too sensitive, so as I never use it I ripped the button off.
It isn't nearly as bad but still does it sometimes.
My friend with the same phone says that this fixed his though.
I think I need to have another go at it, see if I can stop it properly.
Ok, so I pulled the cover from the button on the headphones and ripped out all of the metal button that is attached to the board inside.
It's certainly working so far.
headphones HELP PLEASE!!!
hey guys i picked a pair of headphones from the store they fit my htc daimond and all but wen i plug them in nuthing happens wen i plug ionto to my razr or slvr they work fine is there an app that can help change this or something please help
HTC headphones auto dial problem finally solved!!!!
guys,I am using HTC Touch Pro2,I have same problem when headphone is plugged into HTC touch pro2;
Description of symptom:
Sometimes when you touch or move the wires of headphone, the phone will automatically dial back the first number in your call hisory (it's not "contacts list" as this poster said),the problem is not stable, when you deliberately fiddle with the wires of headphone hoping to find out what is the problem,it doesnt auto dial, while when you casually try to adjust the position of the wires to make yourself comfortable,it auto dials!
People completely have no idea what is going on,like it's a ghost behind it.
I initially believed that maybe the movement of the wires shakes the USB slot, which triggers internal electronic touching or somthing.
Like others,I checked whether there is some button along the wires of headphone,I found none, thus this mystery remains forever.
However, the other day, suddenly I did find a button in the wire. Now pls look at your HTC headphone, the middle of the black box(where two wires are jointed) is the button! the cover of this box is clickable, pls try to click it sveral times, the phone will auto dial.
it is now clear that this clickable cover (button) is specifically designed to auto dial back the call when you use headphone.
The button is so sensitive that even small touch will make it execute.
I had the same problem
I had this annoying problem and i sent my phone in service. I got a new pair of headphones and after some time (~1 year) same problem occured. I think this are the crappiest headphones i ever seen . THX HTC ) anyone found any good headphones (not necessarily original) that I can buy?
same problem
Had the same problem. It's caused by faulty wiring in the headphones. Mine do the calling when the wire at the end of the connector gets wiggled into certain positions (i.e. when I keep it in my pocket or in my hand while running). It's really annoying especially since this is my 3rd set in as many months that has this problem.
I've also noticed that Orange is selling them at a quarter of the price they had in December. I'm guessing they're trying to get rid of them since the new models from htc come with standard headphone jacks.
Only sure fire solution to the problem is getting a new pair.
Same here.
There are other threads about this problem.
Still looking for a solution like, let's say a registry hack that disables the headset button...
HELP
Okay i have done a search and not been able to find what i want, (just a few links to a few headsets that have half the functions) i have gone and bought a apple one that has a mic, volume, stop and play.
I want a proper one so i do not have to get my device out of my pocket. The one that came with it is crap does not even have a mic and volume control, the one i bought does the job but half and i need one with stop, play, next track, previous track, fast forward, rewind, pickup/drop call/voice command call and volume control.
I have looked around and not been able to find one please can anyone help me as price is no object in this matter.
The original headset DOES have a mic built-in.
Look at the small hole on the back of the control unit or however it is called.
But still, it has no volume keys...
Regards,
Lukas
Ha ha ha just tried to use my nokia N96 one did not work looking for my N95 one now going to try that.
N95 one did not work also..
Tried to combine the ipod one with the original one and still dont work.
Does anyone know of any nice headset adaptor with prev/next/pause buttons like on the original headset? The ear-plugs on the original one are by far the most uncomfortable I've seen, including the super-cheap red-black $1 Chinese you could buy in Bulgaria in the mid-90s The Omnia II comes with both an adaptor and very nice in-ear phones...
I found the a super headset!
I just got a Skullcandy headset this week. It is made for the iPhone but works super on the HD2. With a little cab file included in this link you get the iPhone function of one click stop/play two clicks skip to next song. Here is a link to the headset. http://www.skullcandy.com/shop/configable/index/links/id/1018/cid/6/
Hi guys, now that Sony have implemented MirrorLink on the Xperia Z, I was curious if anyone had real life experience with using it?
I hooked mine up to a head unit at an electronics store here to test it out but I found it quite laggy on the head unit (a Sony XAV-601BT) but the phone remained smooth so I'm not sure what happened.
One thing I didn't test is how a remote control works, if someone has steering wheel audio controls or a remote control does pressing the skip track button on it skip the track on the Xperia Z as well?
Otherwise just happy to see what experiences people have had on their setup.

Current Mirrorlink spec is only 15fps, IIRC. I've tried an S3's implementation (Drivelink) on the same HU and it was smooth but delayed on the head unit.
I've had my phone since January 2005 and I've been using the Bose in-ear earbuds since they came out.
My current ones are starting to show signs of wear (cable starting breaking down near one of the buds) and thus I was seeing on replacing them and keeping with Bose, since I really like the sound and the design of these earbuds. So I passed by the Bose shop and bought the Bose Soundtrue earbuds, designed for Samsung and Android phones, that come with a line in remote.
However, when I tested them out, the remote was not working. Pressing vol+ was restarting the song that was playing, and the same when the play/pause button was being pushed. The vol- did nothing. I tried using a third-party app to make it work (Headset Control Center from Degauss Lab) but to no avail, it did not. And to make it worse, the Bose Rep tried to call me on my phone and I could not even pick up the call with the button (middle one). In the end I returned my purchase.
So I'm bummed out. I have no clue what to do. I really like Bose and would like to stay with them. But if I really cannot get their earbuds to work... not sure if I will.
Anyone have any idea what I could do to make it work?
Or alternatively, are there similar earbuds (sound and design-wise) that would actually work with the Motorola G from 2014? I really abhor full in-ear earbuds for the closed out feeling I get when wearing them and the fact I'm less aware of my surroundings. I bike a lot in Brussels and I want to be able to hear what goes on around me (to do anything else is suicidal).
thanks in advance for your replies.
Bump. Is there really no-one around who can help?
Hey there,
I was using the same headphones from Bose since a year or so now on both Xperia Z and Z1C.
In mid August, the remote - which was working perfectly - stopped working.
I called the after sale services, thinking the something was wrong with the headphones...
They changed them to brand new ones that I received today. They don't work anymore.
Something happened between nov. 2014 and aug. 2015 ( my guess is lollipop - but I'm not even sure), and I can't use the earplugs the way thety were properly working before (play, pause, vol up / down - double click for skip...
This is a bummer.
I have a similar problem with Lollipop on my HTC One E8, with a single button wired headset: after the upgrade to Lollipop, the single-button control via my wired headset no longer works.
It never worked right without using the Degauss Headset Control Center, but before lollipop, using Degauss I could control it.
But since Lollipop, a single click results in multiple clicks - one, two, three, four even five clicks!
Even though I setup the Degauss app to map all those to play/pause, it sometimes it still skips to the next or previous track, and sometime it won't pause or resume.
I've been looking high and low for a solution, or others hitting the same problem(s).
I did not find a solution yet.
I gone and bought the Bose Sountrue anyways as I really like the sound and the way the earbuds fit in my ear. The mic works fine when I call and receive a call (I have to accept it from the phone as the buttons do not work). I do think it is a hardware problem of the Moto G so most likely will change to a compatible phone in the future.
Hello,
I am new to this community so please don't be to harsh on me if somebody allready asked this question (Didn't find anything using the search though).
I own a 2015 P8 lite, using the Basic 608 Rom right now, but had the same issue with all other custom and stock roms that I've tried.
I am using my phone as a music player while jogging or exercising and i have some connectivity/bandwidth issues.
I keep losing the data connection to my headphones while listening tu some MP3. It seems that the BT connection between the devices is still online,
but no data is going through. This seems to be related to the distance between phone and headset,
but the direction the P8 lite faces and the angle seem to matter as well.
That wouldnt be much of an issue, if this would not happen at close range, (I'd even say closest range).
For example, i hold my phone in my right hand and the music would stop playing every time my arm swings back ,
where the distance is less than a yard... Quite annoying...
So here is the question...
Does anybody else have this or a similar problem? How did you solve this?
Or am I probably just facing the fact that my devices Bluetooth is broken?
is maybe even my music player (WinAmp) the reason for this?
(can't be the headset, because it happend with other sets as well while the set work perfectly on other devices)
This is one of the most used functions on my device, I'd appreciate some help here...

Bluetooth isn't made for motion transmitting, that's why almost everyone just put down their phones and send files via Bluetooth. As you may know, Bluetooth is an old thing, and it has alot of disadvantages. Try using another music player, like poweramp, or install viper4android. You didn't said whenever your Bluetooth speaker is a box with speaker or eardrums. The devices Bluetooth capabilities is the same as Galaxy S6 etc use, so that's not a problem. Maybe your speaker receiver is bad, or you bought something cheap with improvised Bluetooth. For now, just change the music player, try the sound whitout moving and than give us another feedback. Little to no chances that p8 lite is the fault here.
I did a little testing yesterday. I used 4 different music players, they all showed the same behaviour, so I guess it is not connected to them. All had these "dropouts" like the bandwith is minimized. I found out that this is not a motion issue but connected to position ans maybe angle. sometimes all I have to do is turn my head a little an the music would stop. It comes back when I move my head back to old position. if I weren't at very close range to the phone it say it is a distance thing, but it seems more like some kind of shielding... I guess i have to lend my wifeys phone and try whats going on then.. Oh, and I am speaking of In-Ear-Headphones

Than, the only remaining solution is to try your eardrums with another phone or p8lite with another eardrums. I don't really believe the phone is the problem here.

So i did a little testing with the MotoG3 and the HTC One M7. Both connected to my headset and showed the same behaviour.
Seems like I need a new headset, the issue is not caused by the smartphone(s)
Thanks for your help...

Told you... Before you buy, check with the P8 lite if the new headset is working how it should.
facing the same problem, BUT the headset work as a charm with different android phones!
In my case it was definitely the headset itself, bougth me a new, different one and everything ist fine now.
