I will like to update to the latest EMUI 4.1.1 , but I see a lot of different firmware for the model I have. I know there are differences by country where the phone comes from. Can some one tell me what version do I have, according to the screen shot provided and a Guide on how to update to EMUI 4.11.
EVA-L09C212B141. To my understanding I am far behind from the latest built bc I am on the B141, what does the C212 means >?

Hi
i purchased p7 while ago and then while i search in the internet i find that there is many models of p7 and mine was p7-l11 and it's australian model but i'm not from australia
so this model seems that it doesn't receive any updates and it's still on EMUI 2.3 and probably will not get lolipop update also
is there a way to make it like global model (p7-l10 ) by install another ROM or something ? so it can receive the updates normally
thanks and sorry for my english.
Hey there.
I have a Question.
I came from Germany and buy my P8 Lite on Amazon.
The Phone itself is absolut Powerfull and i like it.
But it is a Model for the Middle East & Africa.
Build Number isALE -L21C185B180 and has German Language in it´s Setup.
Updating to Marshmallow is not possible via OTA while it is not for the European Market.
Now i found the Middle East Update to ALE-21C185B525.
Is there anybody who can tell me that German Language is avaible in this Update?
Can someone tell me how to Upgrade this and warn me from Problems with the Manual Update?
Thanks a lot.

As far as I know, all versions have most languages, especially, let's say, strong languages like German.
But on XDA you can find many threads about how to change locale of device and update to any version you like, stock or custom, with or without root and with or without custom recovery. This is fine device and we have a few options.
Look here:

Sent from my Huawei ALE-L21 using XDA Labs

Hahah ok then It must be a new version then which I don't know, bcz my phone has the same version as yours actually but I moved to Europe version , could you please share the changelog of this version ? Thank you
I don´t have a changelog.
It is the Firmware that was on the Phone as it get´s delivert.
I do not update anything.
Can you tell me how to change to European Version or share a link to a tutorial.
Iam still not happy to buy a Phone in Germany and get one from Africa.
Yes, you just need to unlock bootloader first then flash the oeminfo EU zip then flash EU lolipop rom then you can upgrade to marshmallow too if you want
If you need help just tell me
Hey! I've got troubles with my Huawei P7 and the carriers in my country, because the version of my firmware device is the L12 (latinoamerican version) isn't compatible with them.. I was searching and I found that the L10 (european version) did. Also I found that I can change from L12 to L10 firmware, because the hardware of both are the same, the only difference is the firmware, but I got a doubt. I'm running Emui 3.1 and android 5.1.1, in some videos they show that I have to downgrade to Emui 2.3 and android 4.4.2 first to make the change of the firmware. I want to know if I can make the change without having to downgrade the firmware. I mean, I want to change the firmware directly. Can I? What do you say? What do you think?
Thx everyone! :good:
Hello everyone!
I heard about the pie beta in Germany, but sadly i don't live in Germany, so i can't join the beta program. But i found the 9.0 images on the huawei firmware database site (https://pro-teammt.ru/firmware-database/?firmware_model=VTR-L09&firmware_page=0), and i'm planning to flash the images, but i don't know if they work.
So my question is, did someone try flashing the android 9.0 images?
You need to rebrand to the correct version first. And maybe you need to be on the right firmware version, but I don't know which version is the right one, it should be between B367 and B381.
The Pie versions on FF are for Latin America / Argentina, so maybe the cell frequencies are different to your region and you can't use your version.
There's also no known way to downgrade to Oreo at the moment, if you didn't install the official beta.
So, wait until Pie is released for your region and flash it manually to be safe. It's possible to brick your phone very easily by flashing the wrong version.

Hi everyone. i searched the forum but did not find any suitable information, i hope i did not miss anything.
I have a Nokia 8, Model: TA-1004 (Dual SIM), running the latest known stock update to me Android 9 00WW_5_15G_SP04.
I have some company SW on the phone which starts to make a fuzz about the to old Android version (9) so i have to either buy a new phone or update the current one. Problem is that my company does not allow any rooted devices. Is there any chance to update it to a newer version of Android without root?
Does anybody know? The phone is otherwise great and it would be a bugger having to buy a new one just because of this.
Best regards and thanks a bunch for any possible help here.
regards
You can put Android 12 Pixel Experience on it, default is unrooted. But ofcourse you need to unlock the bootloader.
Thanks for your reply. Now that sounds interesting. I will have to check how that is done. Have not done that before.
Have you got a link for that rom somewhere?
Regards
Basicly all is covered here: https://wiki.pixelexperience.org/devices/NB1/install/
Nokia Bootloader Unlock Took doesn't work anymore but you can still unlock using this guide: https://www.techmesto.com/guide-unlock-bootloader-nokia-android-phones/
After bootloader unlock you can install T-Virus, it includes PixelExperience Android 12, then just take OTA to latest version.
