I rooted my htc one m7 running lollipop using supersu v2.46 zip. I flashed it successfully as I can verify my root access via root checker. Does this install busybox as well? If not, how do I install busybox?
Not it those not install busybox if you want busybox use a busybox installer like https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=stericson.busybox&hl=en and also I highly recommend you update to superSU 2.65 its not a great idea to stay on an old version
This all started because I have been trying to get the Directv Now app to work with root. I started by wiping completely and then loaded the newest firmware then flashed twrp recovery. Then Magisk v9 then phh superuser r266-2. Installed Magisk manager and ph superuser app and then flashed systemless xposed and installed the app as well. And then turned on magisk hide and selected directv now and superuser and rebooted. I finally have directv now working!! But I am running into an issue with titianium backup saying your su binary is functional but might not work. tried to uninstall apps and it says successful but upon reboot its still there. I think I just need to update the binary but phh superuser does not have that option. Any Ideas?
Hello
I have Resurrection Remix with OMS installed on my 3T and /data currently not encrypted. Everytime I flash SuperSU, it's working after boot, but then root stops working and SuperSU says "No su binary installed." In the recovery.log i can see that my boot image is full, but I have no idea how to fix that or if it's even the main problem. I tried SuperSU 2.79 Stable, SR1 and SR2.
Thanks for help
i ran into the same problem today after flashing tugapower 7.1.
after boot, root only works for a few minutes.
what i did then:

1. unroot via supersu app (settings)
2. reboot into android again
3. flash phh-supersu zip in recovery
4. install phh-supersu app from store
Hi,
As everyone having TWRP recovery, I have a "supersu" folder with installation scripts inside. Sometimes (but not everytime I have a non rooted OS), TWRP proposes to install SuperSU, and then I only have to upate the SuperSU app and it works perfectly.
My question is : how can I manually use these scripts ? I tried launching the "install-supersu.sh" script in the TWRP terminal, but it does not work...anyone have an idea ?
Thanks !
Hi everyone.
I just installed Magisk with booting the patched image and installing with recommended method. I were using my phone just as it was the Mi A1.
But when i installed Xposed Framework from the script module of Magisk Manager my phone, it became unable to boot.
The only way to boot up is manually using the boot command in adb and using a stock image (boot.img) disabling the root.
Does anyone knows how can i fix it? i want to recover my root capabilities without xposed that is crashing my system.
PD: Xposed Installer doesnt seem to be installed in my system when i boot with stock boot.img
