Hi guys,
I have noticed that sometimes after booting, my Moto X 2014 gets a considerable battery drain, for example: if it's in 50% battery, after rebooting it gets 40%...
Is it a software or hardware problem?
I don't have root yet, so what can I do to solve this problem?
Thanks in advance.
CAn anyone suggest how to fix battery drain im on fxp Cm 12 02/09 and i turned everthing off and battery on low brightness. Also this happend before on other roms.NEEd a fix please reply fast:crying::crying:
What other ROM's did this happen on? Were they also Lollipop ROM's? I personally experienced this once on CM12, my phone went from 70-ish % to 1% overnight by doing absolutely nothing! My advice is to come back to Lollipop when it is more stable, it's way too buggy right now to be used as a daily driver IMO.
ok

The stock Sony ROM's have the best battery life.

My phone model is Walton Primo GM..Hope I will get my solution! Thanks All!
Same here with the battery. I returned to stock 4.3 to see will the problem remains.
i have been using one plus x charger since few days.. battery charges from 14% to 70% in around 30 minutes (with 3g onn!!)
What could be the problem for this? Few days ago i didn't have problems with battery and then suddenly yesterday morning it went to 50%, though i charged it at 100% the night before.
Hey,
since OTA updating my Ghost (Moto X 2013 xt1052) to the stock version of Lollipop 5.1 I am experiencing a very strange battery behaviour. I have noticed these three cases:
1: Battery displays 1% but the phone will work for another two to three hours until it will power off itself
2: Phone sometimes dies when at levels like 30%
3: Battery consumption is not the best but OK. It drains relatively stable but after reaching 15% it will most likely jump from 15% to 4% and then 1% in a few minutes. Can jump up and down then
I tried letting it drain and charging it up fully while turned off. No effect.
I also tried factory reset and wipe naturally. No effect.
I tried installing a debulked version of the stock rom. No effect.
I flashed CM 12.1 an have the same issues. Plus now the battery level jumps in the stats somethimes although the phone is defenitely not plugged in or charging.
I would like to show you a screenshot of my battery stats here that illuminate the problem quite well but as a newbie I cant
PS: I also have the very common bug where the phone updates all the installed apps at startup when it is started while plugged to a charger. Maybe this is connected?
I couldn't find any info about this behavior. Can you help me? It certainly looks like a bad battery but it intrigues me that the problem occurred only after updating to 5.1. Might it also be a driver or firmware problem of some sort? Some sort of software that does not change when ROMs are switched?
Thanks! Lorenz

Hi Everyone,
I recently bought an One plus 3T 2nd hand. It was used by first buyer for 2 months, fully fresh set. After I took over, I found a weired problem with battery percentage. The phone dies at 35% charge everytime saying too low battery. As other forums suggested its a battery calibration problem, some said software problem etc as some pixel phones and nexus 6P had similar issue after nougat update. Anyway what happened to me so far: -
1. Bought the phone a month ago, it always dies at 35% charge left and within few hours.
3. Did battery calibration didn't work
3. Moved to stock rom without rooting or any hacking it didn't solve the problem.
4. Very recently I have done manual calibration- Let the phone die and charge it full 6hours with the phone turned up, I did it 3 cycles.
5. Interestingly after 2nd cycle it did went to 5% charge before dying only once, I thought its because of calibration is done and I am good to go.
6. But again it died 35% today 4th and 5th cycle of charging. The phone is new and battery is not old enough for such problems.
7. I am one OxygenOS 4.1.6, non rooted, stock recovery all stock.
Please suggest whats left I can do? Have you ever faced similar problems? how did you solve it? Did it come back? If nothing works where can I buy new 3400mah Battery?
Looks like a problem with the battery, I had a similar problem with my new Nexus 7, 3 years ago and they replaced the battery.
You cannot buy a new OEM battery elsewhere than from oneplus. You can contact them and ask them what are the costs..
