Oh my bad, you're trying to downgrade. Downgrade not possible for t3. Flash stock 6.0.1, problem resolved.
I am happy with marshmallow but when i was running lollipop the ( unable to mount preload error was not there )
I did flash 3 times 6.0.1 firmware but the error still came up in red letters when i do wipe data factory reset.
Any solution to fix that ?
I'm trying to downgrade my n910t3 phone as OP too. Currently I'm on N910T3UVU3EPJ2, never rooted, never flashed with custom ROM, Knox counter 0x0. Is it true that It's not possible at all to downgrade it?
If so, is it mean that you can still flash the older 6.0.1 MM stock ROM or it is not possible as well?

did you flash the dok2 firmware with odin? If you haven't tried that yet give it a shot. Here's a link to the files http://forum.xda-developers.com/note-4-tmobile/development/mirror-stock-tw-t3260858

Did that, it's also the one I have
If you odin the dok2 firmware it should have reset everything to a factory state, you can't downgrade your bootloader as far as I know.

the reactivation lock is easy to remove from the note 4. I went to the IMEI Gurus webpage and got mines removed. or just type in reactivation lock on ebay and you will see that most people will remove it for twenty bucks ! goodluck.

just flash the latest 6.0.1 factory image. yes, you will lose root and will have to reroot(flash twrp then supersu which takes a few minutes). bootloader will only relock if you relock yourself, manually. if by now you dont know the proper steps, and yet you are modifying your nexus 6, then there is no help for you, sorry.

flashing a factody image will wipe out your partitions first, so affectively, youre flaahing on top of an "empty" device. you will lose data, but wont if you only flash the system.img.

Sorry to butt in but only flashing userdata.img in fastboot or performing a manual data factory reset (in recovery or settings) will wipe all data on your device.

As the thread states....has anyone tried to flash stock DOK2 firmware from the new MM update? I have searched and asked many questions but have not gotten a solid answer. And if no one knows or no one has tried yet, would someone who had already taken the update be willing to try flashing stock DOK2 firmware? For developmental purposes. Thanks in advance. ?

Root works perfectly fine. Use SuperSu Systemless root. I believe the version number is 2.74-2. It's the latest beta if I'm not mistaken.
First use ODIN to get TWRP onto the device and then flash the supersu zip like usual.
I was thinking of just using flashfire to flash BL and modem only then install the rom..that way it doesnt overwrite recovery... bad idea ?

I was able to downgrade to DOK2 but I only flashed the bootloader & modem file not the entire firmware
If you flashed BL then we are good. I wonder if the MM bootloader is like n910G.....they couldn't go from 5.1.1 to 4.4.4 but when they got 6.0.1 they were able to got back 2 steps to 4.4.4.like a magical BL unlock ha

I had a T-mobile Note 4 (N910T) on 5.0.1 , downgraded to KitKat 4.4.4, when Lolipop 5.1.1 came out I upgraded. rooted, and then flashed custom rom Tekxodus .. phone used to restart randomly .. later discovered that once you upgrade OK2 you get locked and no longer can downgrade to KK.
later on, the phone started to give mmc error and then just died.
Lesson Learned, stay on 5.0.1 or downgrade to 4.4.4 and stay there.
I still wonder if Android 6.0.1 Locks down the downgrade process to 4.4.4. I doubt it will allow it.

Ok. You just downgrade, but I have a question.
After you flashed BL and CS, you still have to flash the firmware, right? So, I have to have the firmware OK2 too, right?

Yea if you want everything to be OK2 but its not necessary....if you are gonna use twrp, u dont need to odin recovery....and if you are gonna use a custom rom instead of stock then you dont need to odin system...so basically anyone with twrp and a custom OS is only using BL and Modem
But i always just flash it all just to be thorough....

Thanks!
Searching via cell isn't great for me at the moment. I've found a few threads with lollipop files to use in Odin. But I haven't read anything that says it's simple to flash them and downgrade properly from Marshmallow to Lollipop. Is there a tutorial/file thread already on here that I am missing via search? Is this something I can do without rooting?
Da hell is that chipmunk woman
Sammobile doesn't have the stock 5.1 firmware.. is that an omen against downgrading?
Most of the posts ive read are indicating Marshmallow is not able to be downgraded, bootloader locked.. looks like a dead end
It's a different boot loader, will not be able to downgrade. There is no root option at this time as well.

following this guide for rolling back to LP, work for me downgrade from MM and getting root on LP.
Mine didn't... version DPH4, october 1, 2016 security patch, odin gave me an error something like level 4 > 3 and didn't start the reflash process. I was able to reflash the same 6.0.1 and its not the same as what was on there, so maybe the ota updates had a problem? I'm still locked out of downgrading.
Mine also from DPH4 oct 1, 2016. Having issue with lte, i cant receive call but i can make call. So im rollback to COI5 and follow the instruction from page 2. Get odin 3.11.1 to flash BL,AP,etc. Have you try with other usb cable?

i also have the at&t model, but used some info in this post: https://forum.xda-developers.com/att-galaxy-s5/general/guide-merry-christmas-heres-t3516196
i used odin to flash full OI5 firmware, minus the bootloader file. Only use the AP, CP, and CSC files. the bootloader is the same. and really, i had already flashed the PA2 build earlier that day i remember now. would probably do that first. flashing the PA2, i used all four files, BL, AP, CP, and CSC . they both flashed the first time, if they dont then try a different cable first. usually that is my issue.
so , i flashed from 6.0.1 down to 5.1.1 pa2, then down to oi5. still have no problems other than getting root..... im focusing on bootloader now, i have unlocked them on htc's before, but havent tried any other phone yet. the work continues tonight.
Hi,
I have Note 4 N-910T with Kitkat baseband version N910TUVU1ANK4 and the phone is fully unlocked i.e. I am using it outside USA and on other network sim not T-Mobile
I want to update it to
EPJ2 6.0.1 Marshmallow BL and Modem (as of October 2016, Latest)
https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B6...WRvVmJWTzItS0E
My question is
1. Should I first flash TWRP on phone and take back up and then flash the Marshmallow firmware ?
2. Will my phone lock to T-mobile network after update ? What If I flash some custom Marshmallow ROM, will it still lock ?
3. If it is locked or something bad happens, can I safely restore the TWRP back up I created ?
Please help me
Thanks

You cant flash via twrp
First you have to flash 6.0.1 full stock firmware via odin to get marshmallow bootloader/baseband.
And dont worry it will not sim lock the device
After that you can flash twrp and flash any 6.0.1 custom rom
Keep in mind once you flash lollipop or marshmallow you cannot go back to kitkat. Your bootloader will be locked and impossible to run kitkat again.
And also your twrp backup of kitkat will no longer work.
I suggest you stick with kitkat cuz it's best for note 4 till date.many users are pulling their hair to go back but they can't. Marshmallow is good in performance but kitkat is best in battery life and speed.
