Rocket Rom XXLS7 JellyBean 4.1.2 v3 - Any Dev who can upgrade Rocket Rom to v3?

Hi there,
It is the saddest news for all Rocket Rom lovers that Eybee has quitted the work he was doing for all of us since many years.
We all love him and wish him all the very best in his life with family and friend. :good:
Someone said "The show must go on"
Do we have any smart developer available who can carry the Rocket Rom to that height where it supposed to be?
To Rocket Rom XXLS7 JellyBean 4.1.2 v3 and further ..................
I know it is very hard to find the replacement of Eybee, But I am quite hopeful that we are having lots of such talented people who can carry this rom to the place where it should be.
Am I right? Is there Any?

Should probably ask his permission first before carrying on with his work, especially using the name

Obviously ............ It cannot be possible without Eybee's permission.
And I am sure he will have no objection if someone is willing to carry his mission.

as RR v3 is ready anyway, I will share it as a last and final version (as I shared ALL I made in the past!)....don't ask for ETA!!! No support, no asking, no v4 to follow just this final ROM.

Take whatever he is giving to us ..... And don't ask for more ......
These kind of attitude is irritating him in past as well ......
Please do not force him ......... Let him take his decision what he wants to do .......

@A.B.: I don't know why you quit, nevertheless: thank you for your time & roms - they've been much appreciated.
One more thingy: i really loved my Note, why loved, because of your rom and the constant improvements that sort of tied me to this great phone. But without you i don't know whether i stick to it, samsung didn't manage that; there are other great devs here, for sure, but their roms have to be tried out and found to be at least equal, up to now i didn't have to care about any other rom.
Mayhaps you rise again (probably all of use would appreciate that), otherwise enjoy your time being.

im still on your first release of odexed ls7
i just wanted to be able to put more apps in multi-window, thats all...

I think if we would find a dev who is able to upgrade RR V3 to RR V4, it won't be a RocketRom anymore... It will be an other Rom like these in the other threads.. Only on a RR-base.. Eybee is the only one, who is able to develop a RR

I myself is the biggest fan of RR and I am not going to change it ever. I would rather to stick with the available RR version but will never ever go to any other Rom.
Anyhow,
He himself is addicted of this work, but now if he is leaving, there must be some valid reason behind. So give him his time, and whenever he will feel to come back ..... He will ......

Any XDA member developing ROMs for K3 note?

Hello fellow K3 note users and developers.
I got this phone a week back. I have already flashed around 9-10 ROMs on my device. I have to say that I'm not completely satisfied with any one of them. I had hoped for a huge development in XDA for this device, but unfortunately, we don't even have a Forum for our phone, as yet.
So, is anyone currently developing ROM/ROMs for this device? If yes, please let us know.
I am interested in ROM development, but I know almost nothing about ROM development, so If there is a project happening out there, I would be glad to learn from that, and be a part of it. At least as much as I can be.

P.S : I know that there are a lot of ROMs on that Spanish website and the Russian website, but I was hoping for more development on XDA.
And I'm currently on the Androium 5 ROM.

I would also be willing to contribute, even though it has been ages.

currently we are fixing the bugs of cm13
when it gets fixed we will work on rr,omni,aicp,etc

Let us thank all Custom Rom devs here at XDA for our device!

We all bought our devices for one reason or another but have came to XDA with the intention of making them better and some of us have done much more than try to fix tiny issues. I want to thank all who have and are developing Custom Roms for our device. If I have missed anyone who has contributed I compel you to write his name so I could add him along with a link if any! We should all know how hard it is to code. For some it's easy but for the most part it's hard work and people tend to forget that. I myself have started learning Python thanks to these people and a fairly recent show named Silicon Valley from cough* cough* 2014. So without further ado! It looks pretty fine, the name of the MT7 developer is correct. About the help, the help We need comes from China and doesn't want to know anything about us. That doesn't mean that if you are not Huawei you can't help, I appreciate every contribution. In my opinion you should include as well to @hackslash even though he's working on the Honor 4C, his contributions have been really great and it's a pleasure to work with him as well as with all the people you listed above.

Thank you for mentioning him and for making me interested in Python. If you're wondering how. You once said you're a C++ dev and I know a little of a similar language named C# but in order to understand more of these two languages I needed Python. And so swish swosh >>

Actually, you should thank for RIL @codeworkx who was developing CM for Honor 6, @gabry3795 just took his code from H6 device tree.

You should include sokoban too for making deodex rom for this phone.

I've installed your B574 Deodexed and I have two suggestions for your future version of ROM:
1) Implement multi window directly inti ROM. It's a feature many people want and also people are having issues with your rom when using multi window.
2) Auto hide navigation bar. There is a button but it's very annoying to press every time you go into an app.
And I have one question:
3) Are you only going to make ROMs based on Chinese ROM or you will also make European ones?

@Prostokuche Thank you for this mention, I am proud to contribute to this project. After all we are all fighting the same battle And yes, I started the petition about a year ago forcing huawei to release the sources needed for a custom ROM (Mate7 scenario is worse than the p8 one )
I also want to point out that the HuaweiRIL.java module belongs to cyanogenmod project as stated in the license header. My edit on RIL project are signed by me and those to the HuaweiRIL.java was just to exclude features that are not supported by Mate7. :highfive:
I hope you can release a fully working ROM for your device! Good luck!

Stock Rom development

First of all let give a big shout out to all the developers who are still supporting the note 4..thanks for all your hard work
I'm just wonder ever since we got 6.0.1 there jasnt been much development on stock roms....most ported roms... i'm a noon here..is there a particular reason for this? So I wouldn't mind hAving a modified version of stick thats actually for the T-Mobile note 4. But if anybody out there has some insight please free to share.. thanks

I wanted to request a recommendation on a ROM for the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 (N910T) with the Note 7 features. I have seen so many but I wanted to install the better one in terms of bugs and performance. Can somebody please tell me a name for a ROM that doesn't have bugs or not so many?.
