I have flashed my phone with S433.
But now the EAP-SIM is no longer available in the Wifi security options.
Is there any way of adding this? Or do I have to try a different ROM?
Thanks.
I finally managed to get EAP-SIM to work after flashing several different sims and the universal modem flash.

Hello,
I've flashed a million times boot.img, radio.img all kind of ROMS from JB to STOCK, differents hboots, kernels, etc but i can't get WIFI/BLUETOOTH/GPS to work.
I get the famous Wifi Error when trying to enable it and i see in logcat that the kernel module for wifi can't be loaded.
All that started to happen when i sent my nexus to repair the power button. They changed that piece 2 times..
Can it be that eventhough i'm flashing different kernels the wifi kernel module is corrupted and isn't changing? or can it be a problem with the wpa_supplicant.conf file? or what can it be?

Have you tried the WifiFix app? Check this thread http://www.xda-developers.com/android/regional-wi-fi-issues-in-ics-gone-with-wifi-fix/ for fixing wifi issues.

Hi all, I'm back with another proplem!
Around a month ago I was running AICP and KMA Kernel and just randomly one day I couldn't connect to any WiFi networks at all, I've tried a whole combination of ROMs and Kernels and the only thing that seems to work is having a ROM with the kernel it comes with, Meow, KMA, Hodor are the Kernels I've tried so far on various different ROMs but none work at all, it just says "error connecting" or something similar, I can't connect to WiFi networks on ANY Lollipop ROMs either!
I have already had a look through the forums for a fix but so far haven't found anything, I've trued flashing nandroid backups and re-flashing stock .283 but still haven't had any luck, I'll try and pull a logcat in a little while!
Has anyone else encountered this and if so do you know the cause/solution? I'd be very grateful indeed if someone would be able to help me out!

Bump, I really need help here guys!

does anyone know how to fix this issue I've tried reflashing Rom a few times but no luck
I have g920T with sim unlocked and I only have managed to connect to wifi manually editing the value of " wifi_country_code " to " US " under com.android.providers.settings/databases.db , but everytime I restart the phone or even turn off wifi and some time pass that value change again to correspond my country automatically and i can't connect to any wifi because the phone don't see it, I have tried Xwifix 2.0 module from xposed following the instructions. I have tried many fixes but nothing sticks, my problem remain
I have arter97 X kernel and Arrow 8.0 Rom
thank you in advance for any help of any kind :fingers-crossed:

Did you debloat your ROM? This could be the result of removing something you shouldn't have. Try reflashing your ROM after doing a backup.

first thankyou for your answer.
I have the same problem with stock rom. I removed sim, I flashed stock rom and my wifi country code problem remains. does bootloader and modem have to someting to do with this problem??? because those are the only things that doesn`t change when I put a custom rom.
can I make a change to built.prop that loads when the system start and change automatically that seeting??? is there aby totorial how can i do that??
For those using XT1806 on the Sprint network, and are having issue with calling or network issues after installing a custom rom try these codes I found *#*#3282#*#* or *#*#33284#*#*. These might help when setting up after installing a custom rom.. Some might already know about these, but then some might not. I tried them and they do work.
