Hi guys
I have downloaded and upgraded with a local upgrade without having to sideload.
1. Download file
2. Copy. Zip file to root folder
3. Go to Settings - > system update - > settings icon
4. Select local upgrade
Remember to back up your data.
Kudos to one of the guys in the oneplus forum... Sorry I tried but couldn't find the post.

CB... Sorry forgot to mention that

I'm on CB 7, modified TWRP. Can I flash the Nougat build with this or do I need stock recovery? Reading some conflicting reports on the official OP3/OnePlus.net forums.

OMG!
This is what i've been secretly waiting for! Downloading it right now so will take a look at the new features! Hopefully CM ROMs are getting more and more now

Yes, I had CB7 and I flashed Nougat with modified Twrp. (remember to do a clean flash). No problems.

Factory reset should be fine. I just found out that if you flash with twrp, you won't get f2fs. Use stock recovery to get f2fs.

I tried Oos nougat, and i had no data (3g/4g) after flash with Twrp .28.
I forgot something ?

Hello,
Did you checked your APN settings ? Mine were incorrect and I had to create à new one properly.
Now It works fine.

SuperSU mess up the SIM. Only SuperSU SR5 works.

[Q]Rooting issue - should I just flash stock recovery?

Hey guys
So I have a HTC One with Android 4.3 and Sense 5.5 OTA - International version and I attempted to root it.
I performed an adb backup
I unlocked the bootloader.
Flashed it with TWRP.
Installed SuperSU 1.65
I then booted my phone and restored my backup. SuperSU app was there. Then I had to reboot my phone and upon reboot it said I have upgraded to 4.3. Then i opened the SuperSU app and I got the message a lot of people have got about having to manually re-root my phone. Then a few hours later I noticed the SuperSU app was missing from my app draw. I then went back into TWRP > install > SuperSU_1.65.zip and installed it again. There is still no SuperSU app and I don't have root access.
Unless anyone can think of a better alternative - I might flash stock recovery and lock the bootloader and just start again. So my question is, should I do that or is there something else that I can try?
Thanks in advanced.
Try using the new SuperSU 1.69 zip file.

A stock, clean, debloated ROM would be nice
A clean ROM, just with the essential , please :good:
---------- Post added at 11:06 ---------- Previous post was at 11:02 ----------
And as other devs do for example with Samsung devices. They debloat the rom. But as someone may want one or another stock app, the Devs created a folther/ link in OP with the individual stock app that were removed. This way everyone is happy

(2) - stock debloated with Google UI.

Flashing 3.2 update on rooted phone.

Hi guys,
So as you all know the 3.2 update for OP3 is out and I wanted to know if it's safe enough to flash the rom on a rooted device. I have TWRP installed so is it fine if I flash the whole rom without disturbing data and then SuperSu followed by it?
Is it fine?
Yes it is. That's the way I updated mine op3.
Wysłane ze zmywarki
You just need to make sure you flash the full 3.2 ROM and not the OTA. The full ROM can be found at the link below:
https://s3.amazonaws.com/oxygenos.o...6_OTA_010_all_1607012342_741e629725ed457b.zip
Flash via TWRP, reflash SuperSU, wipe dalvik & cache and reboot. Job done. Apps and data were left untouched.
There is a thread about that where all is already stated no need to create a new thread by question.

Lineage OS 15.1 should be compatible to Mate 9 ( Oreo running )

We actually know we're running on Project treble since our Oreo Update. so on the paper it should work. anyone tried for now?

It works fine. Navbar is disabled by default though, so go to settings by tapping the icon or pull down notification bar and tap on settings there.
Go to System -> Buttons, enable navbar at top.
I had to factory reset from recovery to get it running.

How about the camera quality? Can we use the stock Huawei Camera? Thanks!
Flashed the system image successfully. However, I get a message 'Google system framework stopped' continuously which does not allow me to set up the device. Any suggestions please?
There seems to be another bug, when you shut down phone and put in charger it will try to boot to the charging screen, but ends up in a loop that turns on screen every 5 seconds. It then exits loop after a while and ends in eRecovery. No biggie really, it doesn't break anything. Phone still charges but annoying that you end in eRecovery

Gapps are included in the rom. To install it fastboot flash your stock roms kernel and ramdisk then do a data format in twrp or in stock recovery then fastboot flash the rom. All we need now is a twrp with USB mtp support and we are good.
