urgent help needed

Hello All,
i have an ivio Twilight 7 MD-70 Tablet having Android 2.2 Froyo installed by default by the manufacturer .. i want to upgrade my firmware .. Please help needed ..
i have tried googling it .. tried to search everywhere but cudnt find anything since this is not a common tablet .. its a new and very un-common tablet ..
which firmware is the latest for my tablet ?
where can i get / download the latest firmware for my tablet ?
where can i get the GUIDES to update my tablet ?
can i root my tablet Firmware ?
how can i access the recovery mode of my tablet ?

You've posted your question in a forum dedicated to the Samsung Galaxy Tab (7 inch version).
People are unlikely to be able to assist you here.
I've had a look and there doesn't appear to be a section devoted to your particular device.
I believe you will have to find another website.

Ummm...about 20 other people have posted the exact same thing

i just purchased the dell streak 7 wifi model this morning and i cannot update within settings, it says my device is up to date but its only running 2.2.2. i try the link in this thread and when i click the download link, it says that its been removed. how can i update other than the fastboot method. i am not familiar with adb. thanks in advance for any help

Download is working for me, just downloading as we speak, happy to upload & share via hotfiles or drop box if it helps.
I'm thinking about getting Dell Streak, whay do you think about it?

I called dell two days ago for some trouble shooting. I asked about honeycomb on T-Mobile ds7 they said by end of December everyone should have it and called T-Mobile to confirm what dell said and was confirmed by them as well per me talking to them.

Well, that's good news. Too bad I hacked the crap out of it and revived mine way too many times.

Me too. Only reason I haven't hacked my devices cause they still got a warranty.

Can't seem to find what is going wrong.

I had that happen before. Its something that you downloaded. Reset it. You will be fine. Could be something on your memory card too.

what kind of battery life are you getting with 3.2 i get 2 to 3 hrs before a recharge i have a unlocked 3g on AT&T

I have a streak 7 with Android 2.2.2 which bought in US last year.
Now I cant update by setting--->system update(just like the website out of work).
I still cant get official Android 3.2 by floor 1 wedsie.
How can I update my tablet from 2.2.2 to official 3.2?

There is a sleep bug in the RIL. I know you use 3g, but when connected to WiFi, put it un airplane mode. Hugevdifference in battery life and WiFi still works.

[Q] i think i got a soft brick on my hands

ok i've got a droid bionic ota to 4.04, rooted with bootstrap 3. I went to install my first custom rom, realized i was putting it in my "stock" slot so i pulled the battery...oops! so now on start up i get a droid with his belly open (lol)... any help?

Now my situation may differ from yours thus outcomes may very... so flash with care!!!!

You can re-root - do a youtube search for root 4.1.2, or there's a post on droidrzr.com (sorry less than 10 posts, can't post a link) that does everything for you in one-stop shop.

I just contacted the HTC Support and they told me that only One M8 and One M7 will get Lolipop. So i thought mini and mini 2 will get it, too.
Does someone know something about it?? Or was the support right and we will not get Android 5.x?

Yes the mini 2 will get android 5.0 for sure i get information feom Labtoofer.
But it will come very late this year maybe may or june.
And not htc eye experience for our device !!!

So we won't get the most usefull features, such as Face Tracking, but this silly Face Fusion.

Yes our only hope is a kernel ported from desire 816.. the most close to htc one mini 2 . . But we don't have kernel developpers

I think if we get Android 5 our biggest problem is how to get root. I readed that it is more difficult to get root on Android 5, and after here are not so many developers, i'm not sure we'll get our phones on the latest Software rooted

Don't see hows is that a problem. if you install superuser before, the update wont remove it. Also im testing Android L in nexus 7 and root works fine.

I don't think it will be a problem .
My only desire is get a kernel developpers to enable the feature of Eye camera foe our device

My only wish is to get root without htc-dev

As far as I know, I think an app called sunshine is able to put device into S-off, but it costs.
EDIT just tested sunshine and its NOT working

I just bought the nexus 6. I would like to get a hold of stock rooted 5.1.1 so i can install it. No such seems to exist? Not really sure why, did interest in Nexus6 die down in the last month or two? I was sure there'd at least be 3 different threads about 5.1.1 rooted or similar, but i found nothing with a working download link

they dont exist because all it takes to root it is flashing supersu.zip. there are MANY nexus 6 roms and kernels for you to try, in the android development section and original development section.

yea I saw that, thanks. was just curious as to why thru stopped. between rooting, installing twrp and a kernel that doesn't encrypt, I was hoping to have a clean all in one solution
