EMUI day 3.0 output for Chinese Ascend P7 variants October 20 2014by adminAndroid, updates the firmware, Nouvelles3 Comments Each owner smartphone Huawei is looking forward to EMUI 3.0 which is the latest interface Huawei available for newer smartphones Huawei Ascend Mate such as 7 Huawei recently released the schedule for EMUI version 3.0 for other selected as smartphones we've covered here -
On this article we mentioned that Ascend P7 EMUI get 3.0 update in the form of firmware development on October 20th which is today. However, Huawei has released the 3.0 firmware development EMUI yesterday for Chinese variants such as Ascend P7 P7-L00, L05-P7, L07 and L09-P7-P7.
We are somewhat disappointed by the fact that they missed the update for P7-L10 which is the international version of the phone. There is speculation that go on this update P7-L10 will be released some time now that the day is not over yet, but there is no guarantee about it. Please do not attempt to install this firmware on your international P7-L10 because it could brick your device.
Most people have imported the Chinese variants such as P7-L00 if you have one, you can flash EMUI 3.0 today. Also note that you must be running one of the firmwares listed below on your P7 to pass EMUI 3.0. P7 P7-L00-L00 V100R001C17B125SP03 V100R001C17B126 P7 P7-L00-L05 V100R001C17B603SP02 V100R001CHNC00B125SP03 P7 P7-L05-L05 V100R001CHNC00B126 V100R001CHNC00B603SP02 P7 P7-L07-L07 V100R001C01B125SP03 V100R001C01B126 P7 P7-L07-L09 V100R001C01B603SP02 V100R001C92B125SP03 P7 P7-L09-L09 V100R001C92B126 V100R001C92B603SP02 EMUI 3 , 0 firmwares for Ascend P7 are based on Android 4.4 and on the characteristics of EMUI 3.0.
Sad to see a brand like huawei ignore its international variants time and again
International release is dependent on your regional Huawei division. You have to contact them. Don't get hopes high of seeing international version on the emui chinese site.

When it's ready and Huawei will release it.
Very difficult to say exactly when. Stay tuned [emoji6]
Since P9 Plus is the TOTL phone, I hope it receives the N update first.
Also, Aug. 2016 android security patch since I am still on July 1, 2016 level.

If you have P9 Plus VIE-L29 model, you can debrand your phone to C185, and install it from here:
VIE-L29C185B320
Installation guide can be found here on this thread Page 58.
Important points to consider:
Debrand your phone to C185
Install C185 stock marshmallow firmware
Install TWRP (yes, TWRP!)
Flash the B320 nougat beta package using TWRP
IMO, I don't recommend it. It is unstable (bluetooth doesn't work, settings sometimes hangs), and recovering back to marshmallow is another feat. Also, the most important thing is, the Nougat's cat easter egg doesn't work on this build .

No problem with anything aside from a noticeably faster battery drain even on idle after updating to nougat beta, other than that everything is working fine.
Android 7 here and no problem at all.

Hi guys,
I am holding a P9 Plus VIE-L29C20 (Singtel set), which is still on EMUI 4.1.3 (Android 6.0). I would like to update to the latest available OS, which I think is the Android 7.0 Nougat.
Can I use Firmware Finder to update to VIE-L29C636 which has the updates up to VIE-L29C636B390 (B391 not approved for installation)?
Will I brick the device?
Thank you in advance.

You have first to Debrand on C636
That you can do with SRK Tool.https://forum.xda-developers.com/p9/how-to/vdo-guide-how-to-debrand-huawei-phone-t3410045
This is for P9, but works on P9 plus
