Hello,
I have bought my Xperia X1 on December 2008. In the meantime I have had a lot of roms.
But now I want to sell my phone. Don't know why, but just want to sell it.
My phone is from Orange / One Austria.
Which rom should I install? I think I need a stock rom but which one should I take for a device from Orange Austria?
What should I do after a rom install? Should I install the STOCK_SPL ?
Thanks for your helps.

You've answered all your questions ..... install an austrian rom, and after that install stock_spl.
Your answer is in sticky threads in this forum, just search, i can't write it any better, couse you have step by step guide for making it "stock" again. In short version, FIRST flash stock ROM, than stock SPL. Or maybe first ask the buyer if he wants custom ROM?
Ok thanks. I was not sure, because there are Austrian roms of T-Mobile.
But that makes no sense? Just any Austrian rom.
Hi everyone,
Before I begin, I just want to say that I've searched for a clear answer (here and on some french forums), et and I really didn't understand anything... Since I bought my Note a few hours ago. I'm new to this.
I just don't get anything, with all the Odin and kernels stuffs...
So, let me explain my problem : I just bought a Samsung Galaxy Note that was previously simlocked (at SFR, I'm in France, and I'm with Orange), the seller said it was sim unlocked at a store (but hey, I don't know if it's true).
Thing is, the Note has a Custom Rom, and I'd really prefer a Stock one (I don't like JKay, I want OTA update etc..).
But :
1) I don't understand anything. CFW is installed, if that can help you... I don't know which Rom I should take, how to install it... I'm Lost.
2) Do I lose the sim unlock by reverting to a stock rom ? If so, how to keep the unlock ?
Since I'm a real newbe, I took a screenshot of the "About the Phone" section to give you more details. It's right here
Thanks to all of you, have a nice day =)
Daz.
Hi all! I recently got a Huawei P9 vodafone branded (L09C02B123) and I am very happy with it. I wanted to ask if there is a safe unlock bootloader and root guide for this version or do I have to de-brand it? And if I wanted to unroot the device can I go back to the vodafone version as it first was? And since I don't like the MIUI software (the only downside) when will the CM 13 roll out to the device?
Thanks

Hi.
Please download the SRK Tool. It can do almost anything you need on your phone.
Wrt the custom ROM, you asked, unfortunately we only have one custom ROM and one slim ROM atm.
What i did was, root, debloat the ROM myself, flash a 3rd party launcher, and flash the L Speed app from Play store.

Thanks for the answer. Your method is smart but do you know when Cyanogenmod will be launched?

Cyanogen Mode is quite different from stock version of the p9 software or variants of it. Drivers would be a great issue in that way. Since the Kirin 955 processor is relatively new and not as common as Quallcom's Snapdragon, there would be a long long way to see a Cyanogenmod for our p9s.
However it is a job for ambition and determination. So, who knows maybe one of the great developers around will take a step forward
Hi guys again, I remember I am running the EVA-L09C02B123 which is a vodafone branded version. Can I root this version? I heard that you need to de-brand it first. Is it true?
You can root it without de-branding but you must unlock the bootloader first. That's going to trigger a factory reset, so back up your stuff.

Hi everybody,
I have a question today about my Honor 5c.
I installed on it the custom rom : elite v5.0 but i saw that there is a new version 6.0. I also rooted my phone with supersu.
So, I would like to know if I can make the upgrade without loosing my data and if it's possible how exactly (because I'm a big noob and I am very afraid of breaking my phone ^^) ? And if the root will still available or if I have to root my phone again ?
Thank you very much for your future answers and your time.
This should have been asked in the ROM thread directly rather than a new question. You can just flash zip and fixes via twrp without data loss.

Have a backup and dirty flash.
Hello guys..
Here is the situation.
I bought one month ago a HTC desire 10 Pro from Hongkong on an online store. The phone came with a multilanguage Rom of Android 6.0 pre installed after I set it up and connected to the internet I got the software update to the version 2.13. 709.23 and that's it. I read some articles online that desire 10 Pro should get the android update to Android nougat which I didn't get so far.. So I did some digging and found that the multi-language Rom installed by the seller doesn't support Ota updates. Please correct me if I'm wrong.
Do now I need the official Rom and how do I flash it into the phone so that I'll be able to get the update over the air.
Thank you
Hi !!
I got the same problem, I need the nougat update but my HTC Desire 10 Pro wont get it because my country is Sri Lanka.
I thought flashing an official rom from Europe or US might work but I did some digging and found that every HTC device has a country specific code called CID (specific to where it was sold and not the country it's in now) and that even if we change the rom we cant still get OTA without changing the CID.
The only way to change CID is to S-OFF and even if we do that, bootloader will be modified so OTA might or might not work.
So the only option is to ask for a TWRP backup from somebody who got the update and make a rom.
I can do that but I cant find a Nougat TWRP backup for our device.
If you can find one, please share so that everybody can get a Nougat ROM for our device ?
well i contacted the HTC official channels,, they scanned the serial number of my Phone in their system and they said that my phone has a taiwanese IMEI .. so i will get Nougat when people in Taiwan get neverthless I live in Europe . and they said there is no way in hell you could flash the official factory rom into the phone ..
it sucks as well ..
I will share if I find anything .
Hello guys, I need the Nougat ROM for my HTC Desire 10 pro since i cant get it OTA yet. And possibly a step by step explanation on how to install it. Thanks in advance

Try a factory reset.
Be careful, it will erase all personal data, so backup first!

Hi there, [ i speak just a little bit english so sorry if i write some srong xdd ] did you found someone with that "backup" to share Android 8 to all users with HTC Desire 10 PRO? i recently buy this phone but, has you, i read about the posibility to update to Android 8, i searched so mucho but it is nothing that helps to update...
Now im really shure that the only way to update is actually your idea. So i see that no one reply since 2017, and i have the hope to read that someone finally find a way to update to Oreo.
I really hope so, but if not, we just have to live only with Marshmallow 6.0
