Unable to disable Google Calendar Notifications - OnePlus 3T Questions & Answers

I use a 3rd part calendar app, (Nine), and I'd like to disable the google Calendar notifications like I was able to do on my old OP2. I am not able to disable Google Calendar notifications on my 3T. Any suggestions or workarounds?

Just disable the entire app since you don't use it.

Thanks for your reply. I do use it, (Google Calendar), for verbally adding new calendar appointments via "OK google".

I had this problem as well. Not with this app per say but for accessing any Accessibility Services. After googling it I came across the app that was causing the issue via a user on Redditz. The app was Lux & It has something to do with the filters the app applies. Disabling lux remedied the issue
Thx I will disable lux

Anyone try "Alternate Overlay" in the advanced settings of Lux (that may resolve the issue mentioned above)

Anyone notice the New Android Pay icon

I woke up this morning and noticed the new icon. It did prompt me to setup.

I get this when I open Google pay, but it won't let me setup a card. Even if I update wallet it won't
It will not work if you have root.

It can work with root, but it's a pain to get working, I had to change a few things, setup pay, then enable root again. But if you have the M preview then it won't work period, Google even said it won't

Oh the horror, I will have to pull out my physical wallet since I'm rooted on M

Weird, I don't see Google music in my protected apps either. I also haven't had an issue with EMUI killing that app. Have you tried swiping down on the app in the recents menu to keep it from getting killed?

Yeah, it's locked in :good:
Any update on this? I have the same issue on Huawei Honor 7 (PLK-L01). Latest manufacturers ROM (6.0) and EMUI (4.0).
Strange... I can set Google Play Music as protected app

Pinning messages in stock messages app

Did I just never notice this before? Or is this the single greatest thing ever lol. Seriously it's the best thing I've found so far.

Sorry guess I should have explained better. It pins that message to the top of the list of messages. So that when you get other messages it is still there and always at the top and you don't have to go searching through your conversations to find the right one.

That's fantastic, I was using GO SMS Pro for a while on my note 4 because the stock app was getting really slow, and it had a similar feature where you could mark your top contacts and they would always be at the top, then the most recent message would be right below that list.
Yep, this isn't tied to contacts but to specific conversations. Very handy to have but it is kinda buried a bit.
