Where to buy (list of shops) - Xiaomi Mi MIX Questions & Answers

Note that this list will be updated over the time. Prices also keep changing, but i won't updated them unless they drop or rise significantly.
If you know more shops let me know and if possible add a review or just tell us if you were satisfied and would recommend it or not.
Edit: Just to clarify, by shipment i don't mean how long it takes for the delivery service to ship the phone to you, but much more how long it takes the shop to prepare the phone and actually consign the phone to the delivery service, also known as processing time.

You can add up from your list :

I got mine from NIS Store http://nis-store.com/xiaomi-smartphones/xiaomi-mi-mix-4gb128gb-dual-sim-ceramic-black/
I paid a premium but I got it shortly after the release date and shipping was quick via DHL. I was a bit concerned due to lack of good reviews for that seller but service was smooth and phone arrived in sealed box.

e-Bay is a viable option as well,I selected a seller that actually had stock & a long track record w/thousands of 5-Star ratings.
You're protected with PayPal,so,it's as worry-free as it gets.

I know, so are aliexpress and (eventually alibaba).
But since it's seller specific i decided to leave them out and focus on shop that have standalone sites.

Pre-ordered my 6gb variant on Nov 10, 2016 and got it on Dec 5, 2016 through GearBest. Payed 730$, expedited DHL shipping costs and shipping insurance excluded(which was around another 20$ and realized the shipping insurance was useless since I payed with PayPal)
Looks like I made good deal considering the current price on gearbest and other prices posted here

Yeah,I didn't mention any one particular seller by name,as sellers come & go.
However, some here are concerned about some of these "standalone stores" using less than aboveboard tactics,in a sense selling to the highest offer, regardless of when one's order was placed.
At least w/e-Bay,you can choose a seller that actually has stock & have the protection of e-Bay/PayPal,more than what some of these stores practice.

I believe that most if not every store that was listed so far should accept paypal as payment method. While i agree that there were and probably still are sellers that do what you just mentioned (in fact, something similar happened to me last week, tho it was a local seller), ebay or aliexpress sellers could do the same thing, even if the phone is in stock.
I could list ebay and aliexpress sellers aswell, but as you mentioned yourself, they come and go with some exceptions.

add flosmall....couple of folks I think on another thread mentioned this

Found them to be communicative and fair, although I did pay a premium for quick/USA access. Don't regret it for a minute.

I ordered from gearbest and ibuygou.com, but none of those have shipped it. I finally ordered from flosmall after they claimed they had it in stock. They shipped it two days later and it took 5 days ( over a weekend ) for it to arrive by DHL. Pretty perfect.

[Q] Shipment time and tarrifs on your Note

Just wanted to get an idea on imports from the various owners who have ordered their Note from an online retailer.
I expect some import duties on mine but I'm still curious, and this could prove helpful to anyone looking to get a Note and not be surprised by any incidental costs.
So, if you would please fine users.

I pre-ordered @ Handtec because of credit card issues.
Currently, I haven't got a tracking number and they don't know when their shipments will arrive. I presume I'll have my Nexus by the end of Next Week.

Hi,
I purchased mine from Gearbest, com. Ordered on Monday and delivered on Tuesday to my surprise.
I also bought mine from Gearbest. Mine took 7 days and cost £108. the box was open and a load of sh*te had been installed. At least it came rooted so could flash twrp recovery with flashify.
I purchased 3 from gearbest 2 came rooted 1 didn't, they didn't come with too much crap but still had to remove some stuff.
I bought from AliExpress, seller Hong Kong Goldway. Cheap and fast, less than a week, delivery to Europe.
Got teana version from aliexpress, with multi language. 180 usd with express shipping
Ordered from gearbest 9 days ago, despatched after 5. Could still be another 3 weeks getting here (UK). £107 Inc 3 for insurance.

Phone got delivered today, 13 days after order.
Bought mine from: http://www.to2c.com/lenovo-k3-note-2g-ram-16g-rom.html
I bought it at about $175.98 USD
Bought it via amazon.de, via il-astore.eu or something like that, they had a good price vs. all others 'positive feedback' etc.
It was about 180 Euros, with shipping+VAT.
The only lack I see about it is - and I'm having this funny conversation from someone from the store is that I asked their return policy
cuz they sent me the yellow lemon version, I wanted simple white. Would prefer black but what can you do.
Cheers!
Is there a topic: Why did you buy a Lenovo K3 Note? I think it should exist if it doesn't.
Cheers&allthebest,
N.

Got mine from Gearbest (EUR warehouse). The package had been opened and the Lenovo seal torn. There were fingerprints on it and it came with adware/malware. The usual. Gearbest also failed to comply to my request of including the proper power adapter for my country, but that's minor. Cost 151€ (which would have been 145€, if my Paypal conversion rate had been set up correctly), plus 10€ shipping to my target country. Shipped using a proxy delivery service, similar to Borderlinx. Great value for price so far. Especially with the Nexus 8 ROM.

I bought mine at Tinydeal.com. They offer priority shipping within 3-5 days for a couple of bucks more. My phone arrived via free standard shipping after 2 weeks for € 134. The package was delivered by PostNL, they declared it to be a MP3-player with a value of € 35 (I didn't ask them to do that) so I had not to pay any additional taxes.
Very pleasant online shopping experience, I recommend Tinydeal (except from the tax fraud).
I asked them for a German version of Android (nevertheless it came in Spanish) and a European power plug, which they added. Software was VibeUI 2.5, very slow, not rooted with unremovable spyware and annoying ads. I installed Nexus ROM. Speed increased from Antutu 22.000 to 46.000. I'm in love with that phone!
Bought mine from vickmall for 140 euros.
Trusted site, i have already buy ~11 phones and only one had issues with capacitive buttons backlight
Bought 2 phones, both via gearbest..one is now having the limonchello rom and the other one is on the nexus rom.
Price was around 150 - 160 USD I believe, shipping to The Netherlands.
Both came with chinese crapp on it, 1 case also had the seal broken.

Importing Xiaomi Mi Mix to India

Has anyone imported the phone to India.. I currently have narrowed it down to 2 sellers flosmall or Chinavasion... But would like to confirm on what were the customs charged and how long did it take to get the delivery in India ??

@rohit25 I have imported mine from Gearbest.com from China. If you are worried about Customs and Duties, order from them and choose Priority Shipping for India E-Commerce i.e. GATI Courier and request them to declare the value of the shipment below INR 10,000 to save Customs and Duties. I did the same and paid ZERO Duties. If the seller can't do that, You're looking at a minimum of 21% to be paid as Customs and Duties.
Also if you don't want to pay any Duties, do not opt for DHL, Fedex, TNT or UPS. Go for China Post.
Regarding Shipment duration, You get what you pay for. If you Opt for Priority Shipping for India E-Commerce i.e. GATI Courier, you'll get your package within 7-10 days.
Also opt for December Batch of the Phone as the earlier batch doesn't have the Leather Case in the Box.
Regards.
I hope I have provided the information you were looking for. PM me otherwise.

Ansh Gulati is technically correct when he says that anything below 10000Rs does not attract duties. But when you ask to declare below 10000, there are a few risks which you should consider:
a.) In the unfortunate event customs opens or inspects your package and finds out it was declared low, you may have to pay a hefty fine and your item may be seized and destroyed. Neither the seller nor Paypal will take responsibility for the wrongful declaration.
b.) When you declare a lower value and if the package is insured, if anything goes wrong, you only get the declared amount as insurance. Paypal will decline your dispute and side with the seller because you asked the seller to declare a lower value or not insure it.
c.) From my experience, Gati isn't very reliable. Have had bad experiences with Gati and even heard negative experiences from a few people. Jabong and Snapdeal have used Gati at one point and have stopped using their service after many customer issues regarding damaged parcels and delivery issues. Google this if you find it hard to believe me. How can you trust them with your international parcels when their local delivery standards are sub-par?
Your best bet would be to have it declared around 350$ and have it shipped via DHL. This way, duties will still be lower than what you would have to pay if it was declared at 1200dollars and they wont bother to inspect it as 350dollars is a reasonable value for an imported mobile phone. DHL will pay the duties for you and you can pay DHL these charges on delivery. I would suggest you enquire with Flosmall regarding their customs insurance, where Flosmall reimburses you for any charges collected by customs. If this is the case, go for this option as it only costs around 6dollars more. And ensure that you have it delivered by a reliable carrier like DHL or FedEx. Atleast you'll have a guarantee that your shipment will arrive safely.
Ofcourse, you can always go the other route and have it declared below 10000 like Ansh suggested. If you're lucky, you wont have any issues and wont have to pay any duties either. It depends on whether you're willing to take the risk. That's all. Because the chances of your item being inspected is very slim.
But both Chinavasion and Flossmall mentions that the product is a cellphone and also mentions the item details on the shipping invoice along with the value.
So the invoice looks like "Mix 256GB - Cellphone - 5000Rupees". How does 256GB and 5000Rs look when the item is a cellphone? Hope you get the point.
Cheers!

Battery replacement by Official Oneplus service in US

Does anybody have any experience with this. I was wondering what the actual cost was.
The battery itself showed $12 online but nothing on labor and taxes.
I've done it in France and paid a total of 39 euros (UPS shipping and pickup included). Probably, you would have a comparable price in $...
