Can't get Google Play Services to stop crashing after MM update - Verizon Motorola Droid Turbo Q&A, Help & Troublesh

I TWRP flashed http://forum.xda-developers.com/droid-turbo/development/rom-mcg24-251-5-100-stock-t3512949.
Installed all of my apps and customised:
Gained root using the Beta SuperSU 2.62.
Used these http://forum.xda-developers.com/droid-turbo/development/rom-mcg24-251-5-100-stock-t3512949/page3 post #29 to get boot right.
Titanium Backup removed the Google Play apps Books, Games, Newsstand, Movies and TV. Also Gmail, Google + and Photos (I use MEGA.co.nz for everything!)
Titanium Backup moved Nova Launcher to system and removed Launcher 3.
All of this worked using CF's 1.30 Lollipop build. No Google Play Services problems there.
Now, Google Play Services crashes all of the time. I've reinstalled the Google Play apps I removed before, but they're not system apps; I can hide them using Nova Launcher Prime. I could also do the same for Google+ and Photos. Don't really want to put Gmail back on, because AquaMail is that much better, and I don't want defaults competition.
Should I reflash the original, or just wait for CF to get his build better?
UPDATE: Reinstalled everything I removed, and re-enabled disabled Google-related apps. Google Play Services not crashing on reboot. So, is the real problem Google Play Services permissions that have to be modified by a developer or is it something else?

Google play store apps download problem (error code : 497)

I am on android MRA58K and my google play store stopped working for most of the applications including google apps when I am on wifi (works on cellular ). I have removed and re-added my google account. Did not work. Then factory reset the device and no use. And now I can not update most of the application. Cleared cache for google services and play store app as well with no success. Some people suggested changing the DNS to google DNS on the router might work. In my case that did not work. Help is appreciated.
Note: I am on unmodified stock.
Go into settings apps, clear data for Google play store, Google play services and Google services framework. Reboot phone. See if that works.

Miraculously everything started working normally this morning without me doing anything. GPS can download and update all the apps as it was doing before. None of the suggested remedies did in the forums did not work yesterday and today everything came back to normal. I guess it is something outside my phone caused this problem. Any thoughts on this are welcome.

Google Play Services Problem - Exhausted Every Solution I know Of.

So just today (June 14th), on my Galaxy Note 5 N920I (Android Marshmallow), a lot of my apps started to crash. Here's a list:
TypeApp
Pocket
Google Opinions
Calendar
Google
Google Play Store
Best Buy
Now, the first thing I did was to wipe the cache and data of Google Play Services, then Services Framework. After that didn't work, I did the same for all the Google Apps.
One that didn't work, I tried to wipe the cache partition, which did not solve the problem.
Then I tried uninstalling Google Play Services Updates and reinstalling via an APK. This also did not work.
I then tried removing my Google Account, which was a huge mistake. I now cannot add my Google Account or even log into the Play Store because, each time, I am hit with the error "Unfortunately, Google Play Services has Stopped".
So now I am locked out of any Google Apps and most of the apps on my phone will no longer work as Google Play Services crashes as soon as they try to load.
I now have no other solutions that I know of. Any insight would be most appreciated.
Thanks.

hi ,
you don't say if you are on stock Rom , rooted ,used Package Disabler /or something similar /or disabled any apps .??If you using Xposed Framework etc. ?
( this could have a" knock on" effect re Google Play issues etc )
Have you tried flashing " correct latest stock" Rom for your device ?
good luck
Would you like to try factory reset?
Good luck to you.

Google Apps need update after every reboot since MM

I have a very interesting bug that I haven't seen mentioned anywhere: updates for certain apps in the Play Store don't "stick." I run the updates, everything seems to be fine... and then some time later, the Play Store shows those very same apps requiring an update. I've run the update at least 3-4 times at this point, I've tried clearing dalvik and cache. Before installing MM, I factory reset my phone, then factory reset it again after installing MM with ODIN. Many apps were restored using Titanium Backup (except for Google apps).
I became aware of this problem because I kept getting the dreaded "unfortunately, Gmail has stopped" error. After several attempted updates of Gmail and Android System Webview (never sticking), I finally just uninstalled Gmail and installed it fresh from the Play Store. That app seems to be working now (it's only been around 16 hours), but all the other apps that I updated last night are now asking for updates again. Here are problematic apps off the top of my head:
-Beaming Service for Samsung
-Chrome
-Gmail
-Google
-Google Photos
-Google+
-Maps
-Google Play Music
-Google Drive
-Google Text-to-speech
-Hangouts
-Youtube
Update: I manually uninstalled each app listed above and installed directly from Play Store. After reboot, the apps no longer require update, but they all become "first run," ie. Maps asks to accept terms, Hangouts asks for permissions to access contacts, etc. This occurs after every reboot!
I might go back to 5.1.1 because apps like Photos don't work unless you run them that first time. I can't possibly remember to check all of these apps every time I reboot...

Teclast X98 Air 3G (C8J7): for Chrome,Facebook, Firefox now crash to desktop at start

Got this table on stock 4.4.4 firmware. It is amazing how much it has endured, however a couple of weeks ago Chrome, Facebook and Firefox (from what I have tested so far) crash to desktop on open. OTOH Youtube, the stock browser ("Internet") seem to work perfectly!
I've restored factory defaults but the isssue persists. Any idea what might be wrong here? This is similar to what was reported at https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=74944248&postcount=1241
FYI, I have 2FA enabled on my Google account.
what happens when you factory reset, and reinstall as new device - creating a new Google account ?
I also have 2FA enabled. No Chrome issues
Thanks for the response mate. I used a different but existing google account, that did not have 2FA enabled. Unfortunately the result was the same.
EDIT: I neglected to add the following: on the first boot after factory reset and right after I configure the Google account, the system started updating various play store apps. It also indicated it wanted to auto-update the play store itself, but the process got stuck. I overcame the problem after resetting the play store, google play services and the google framework. After that the google play notice disappeared entirely! However, apps like youtube and chrome were succesfully installed (whereas, before the play store reset they wouldn't).
which device are you using ?
is it X98 Air iii ( M5C5 ) ?
It's in the thread title, Teclast X98 Air 3G (C8J7).
duh...my bad...
So you didn't install the kernel, right ? That's only for M5C5.
Something else to try : Install Chrome from apkmirror ?
Thanks, I'll try that.
if that _does_ work, at least we'll know it isn't related to Chrome, but more to the Google Play services.
Using a Chrome version dated from the start of April did the trick.
Is this related to GPS then? If so, how can I "attack" this problem?
good questions...i have no answers.
I wonder, does your "outdated" Chrome app now show up in your installed apps in Google Play ??
If yes, which version does Play think the Chrome app is ? Does it want to update the app ?
Yes it does and Play store tried to update it. Of course I've disabled auto update for it.
If you had the same model as I and Android 4.4 installed, it would be a nice idea to tell me the versions of Play Store, Google Framework and Play Store Services installed, to make a comparison. It still might prove useful.
FYI, I've also installed older Facebook, Messenger, Firefox versions and they play like a charm!
I'm on an M5C5 device (X98 Air iii ),
android 5.0,
rom v7.0_20150720
Google Play Services 12.6.88
Google Play Store 10.1.08
Google Services Framework 5.0.1-1602158
All apps are allowed to auto-update, in my setup.
So you have Lollipop installed. Is it a custom rom and if so, is it reliable?
There is a 5.0 version for the Air98 3g, perhaps I should try that.
it's the mirek190 rom v7... the software is about as reliable as the device will ever get.
I use it mainly as media consumption (Plex)...some funkyness, but it mostly works.
Well I'm having the same problem of chrome and firefox crashing at stating of app and I'm on stock firmware and ROM and have not done any changes. Running latest version of play store
What to do?????
Don't recall the actual site, but I downloaded older (April-dated) versions of firefox, chrome, facebook and installed them (after uninstalling the play store versions first). Worked just fine. Just make sure to disable auto-update for these apps.
Same here, i m on mirek 5.0 v7 rom ...
Is there anyone who got the solution of this problem...??
