flash CM13 and the screen goes all yellow - OnePlus 3T Questions & Answers

I flash the CM13 in this threadhttp://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-3t/development/rom-kernel-unofficial-cyanogenmod-13-0-t3517301
and after the first time I lock the screen and turn it on, it goes yellow,
I tried a few times but the problem still exists, has anyone else come across the same problem?

Screen Distortion Problem

Hi, I've started to have this problem yesterday afternoon and I don't know what to do.
Whenever I turn the screen on everything is distorted, with white and black lines going all across the screen. After putting the phone in sleep mode and going back to the lock screen multiple times, the screen fixes itself. When I look at the screen in landscape mode the same thing happens. I'm not sure if this is a hardware problem or something else because sometimes when I drag the notification bar down, that seems to fix the screen itself. Any solutions? I tried searching all over for an answer but couldn't find any.
Thanks.
bump..Someone help please?
Sounds like a hardware problem, loose cable of some sort I would guess. Try to wipe and flash any 1.6 roms to rule out the bad 2.1 rom. Not likely but worth a try.
Good luck.

[Q]Screen blinks randomly

The screen blinks randomly and then goes back to sleep/normal. There are no notifications when i check
Any idea what causes this?
Thanks

[Q] Screen randomly stops working?

Hi there,
did anyone else have this problem? Occasionally, my screen would not react to my touch input. That is either the status bar stopping in the middle of the screen whilst collapsing, a character on the touch keyboard appears pressed and activated, even though I don't type anything (Can't continue writing when this happens) or the widgets screen on the home screen appears and re-appears and I can't change the homescreens since they are stuck in-between.
This is my second Z (Switched from a black to a white one) and so far, everything's been fine. It doesn't have any custom stuff on it except root. But the problem also occured prior to rooting.
Does anyone have a fix for this? My workarounds so far: Switching it off by POWER+VOLUP or leaving it in standby for a couple of minutes.
Might this be a hardware problem?
Thanks you very much in advance!

you can try to reflash a stock ftf via flashtool, doing a full wipe maybe will resolve this issue!

Screen won't stay off, keeps waking up

This has has happened to me 3 times so far while I am plugged in charging overnight. I'll wake up to see that my screen is on. If I hit the power button it will shut off, and then come back on in a second or two. Even if I flip it upside down so the screen is down, I can still see that the screen is still coming on. The only way for me to fix it is to reboot the phone. Anyone else experiencing this?

what your probably referring too is active display. Which if you want off. I also have off is under the moto app
No, that's not it. I'm not talking about how it will come on every 3 seconds when you have a notification. I'm talking about turning fully back on so I can see my home screen.

Is the stay awake setting checked under developer options? Only thing I can think of right now.

Nope, that isn't checked. And normally this isn't an issue, only a sporadic thing.
Happened to me again last night, woke up and noticed the screen staying on around 5am. I tried disabling the active display but it didn't stop the screen from coming back on after I shut it off. I did find that when I unplugged it from my charger, the screen stopped coming back on. Does this give anyone any clues?

Its something you have installed.

I believe Safe Mode is still in Android. Try it. Warning: it will break your home screen widget layout.
If it is something that I installed, how can safe mode help me determine what it is?

The same reason it does in Windows. You use it to narrow down what is causing it. If Safe Mode cures the issue, you know for sure its an installed app. From there, process of elimination.
Right?
Just got the phone and have had this happen a few times also. No apps installed that I didn't have on my previous phone.
After a bit more testing I have more information. It seems like it only happens when it is plugged in and has reached a full charge. Once I unplug the phone from its charger, the screen stops coming on by itself. This is still some kind of bug, there's no reason I shouldn't be able to keep the screen off even if it is fully charged and plugged in.

Mine stays off. We cannot really call it a bug if it doesn't happen to everyone else.

Well I didn't think it was something that effected everyone, otherwise I would have found a thread on it. I'm going to try using a different charger tonight and see if that makes a difference.

Fair enough. I still think its an app installed though.
By any chance do you have the notification enabled for when the battery is fully charged?

No, I don't.
Ive tried this for two nights and it doesnt seem like I've had this issue since using a different charger...
My problem turned out to be the button accidentally being pressed and the screen lock setting being set to "5 seconds" after hitting the button, as opposed to right away. So the screen was going off, it wasn't locking, and an errand touch of the side of the phone while moving it would make the screen come back on without seeing the lock screen again because it was within the 5 seconds that the setting enabled. I was not familiar with this setting being on my previous phone and the Turbo was set to this by default. Hope this helps.
I agree that it is a bug, however, I was wondering, is there a way to get rid of that screen entirely? Frankly all that screen does for me is waste the battery, so being able to not have it at all would be great.

Black screen problem

I have a red magic 3 with a black screen problem. It happened to me before and but fixed on its own. The problem before was a backlight problem because I could see (barely of cause). But now, nothing. The phone did not fall on the ground, besides it has a case protection. The problem happened when I manually turned off the screen and it never came back on. I have the LED indicator showing me that the phone is on but nothing else. The vibration happens when I unlock it so it's not a touch screen problem. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Does it show boot logon when it starts? Try to boot into recovery mode and do a reset if possible
