Help to install Play store on Chinese firmware - Galaxy Note5 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi all, this has probably been answered somewhere but I can't find the best way.
I have a Chinese Note 5 SM-N9200 N9200ZCU3CPK2.
I tried rooting but ran into problems and installed the above firmware to recover. It is Knox dead now.
Basically, I want to know the easiest way to install Google play store/services etc. If I need to flash with HK firmware, which one will definitely work on my phone? I asked for help on a different forum and they told me to install completely the wrong thing.
Any help would be very much appreciated.
I am learning so please don't be too hard on me hahaha.
Daniel

Have looked I to the HK firmware and then flashing with PIT in Odin, trying to make sense of it, will it work with this HK firmware N9200ZHU3BPK2 and can anyone give me a step by step guide?

Please help me revert back to stock rom! I've read guides but I need more help!

Hey guys I'm in a bit of a pickle.
I have a Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 WIFI/3G (Model GT-P7300 I think).
I somehow managed to install Overcome ROM on it when I first got it. Now I want to give it to my Dad and I would like to revert everything back to factory default stock and all. I'm not sure what a Kernal is and not sure if I need to revert that too but probably.
How do I best go about this? I am having much difficulty understanding from googling and reading forum posts and I am not familiar with the acronyms and lingo the community uses. Would you be so kind to please explain to me step-by-step detailed as if I was a child lol
Please link me to everything I need to download!
Oh and another thing: I bought this tab in Asia so it has English and other Asian languages installed. Can I install a different language ROM for my Dad? (I think he prefers Swedish). Will it be locked to any providers or anything?
Thank you very much in advance. I really need help with this
Here's the stock unbranded firmware for Nordic countries
Here's the branded firmware for Telia (couldn't find any other carrier branded for Sweden
Then just flash using Odin, that will wipe everything though, but you'll be back to stock
I don't understand how to flash with Odin .. I don't even know what Odin is! Please give me super simple instructions
I downloaded the firmware file and I put it on my tablet's SD card. I rebooted into Recovery mode and I try to apply the update from the ZIP file. But it says it cannot Open it?! What am I doing wrong?
All is explained in this post here, that is stickied at the top of this section
overome is quite a standard rom with features that are not really seen... the look is stock... I don't see a reason to revert back...
Thanks guys, I successfully flashed with Odin and I think it was a success. You have been very helpful.
But I am still not sure if 100% everything is set to default stock in case of a future warranty claim. Is there anything else I should do? Do I need to install stock Recovery as well?
Thanks again.

If you used Odin and one of the stock firmwares then it should have flashed a stock recovery as well IIRC, I'm pretty sure Odin on these tabs does the whole kit and kaboodle when it flashed

Help flashing stock

Hi, ive been in this process the last 7 hours. I have a n920c in a point some months ago i flashed the marshmallow n920g with no issues, was rooted and with twrp no problem. Now i need to put the phone in stock again but the issue is that the n920g dont have spanish and i need that cause im selling my phone. i tried to flash several n920g versions and any of those have spanish, then tried to use my native model n920c but i tried with 7 diferent versions from diferent countries and even lollipop and all of them fail to flash with odin, tried diferent pcs, ports, files, etc. fails at modem.bin at the beggining.
Im really tired of this, theres any way only using twrp without root to enable all languages in the n920g version marshmallow? any working way cause i tried all playstore ones and then say i need to be rooted or use some kind of propt comands that i dont understand.
Or theres anybody that can provide me a Note 5 rom, n920g or n920c for flashing with TWRP but not rooted? i searched everywhere and i have no clue where to find that or even if such a thing exist.
I would really apreaciate if anybody with rom knowleadge can build a twrp file of a rom stock marshmallaw just 100% stock with NO ROOT so i can put an end to this nightmare pls pls.
Sorry for the crappy english.

I haven't even tried but maybe you could remove the modem.bin from the zip and see if that works.

Issues with UNROOTING SM-N920T Galaxy Note 5 (T-Mobile version)

Hello. I was hesitant to start a new thread, but there are a lot of threads in this section of the forums, and i keep getting an error when trying to use the "Search this forum" bar. Anyway, I have a rooted 6.0.1 Note 5 (DPG1 update) with TWRP 3.0.2-1 and am trying to flash stock rom back to Lollipop. I am using ODIN with the firmware file named thusly "N920TUVU1BOH6_N920TTMB1BOH6_N920TUVU1BOH6_HOME.tar". I first tried flashing with the .md5 extension on the end, but it failed as well as with the .tar extension. I've looked quite a bit on the forums, as well as on the web, and anything i have found say it is as simple as ODIN flashing stock rom through download mode. any suggestions, or tips? am I going about this totally wrong? need more information from me? please let me know, any feedback is appreciated. thank you.
EDIT: I am looking to completely remove root from my device, including restoring stock recovery; trying to sell device. thanks again.

What firmware did your device ship with? If it didn't come with BOH6 ( which mine didn't ) I don't believe you can flash it, I could be wrong but only flash with the earliest the phone came with. I can't think of any other reason Odin wouldn't work as I flash back and forth all the time between PD1 I can't think of the last 5.1.1, I've been on 6.0 roms for about a month.
I see. It doesn't necessarily have to be lollipop that I use to flash, that is just what the site recommended, could I use the latest marshmallow? Or does it have to be the version that shipped with the device? Because I do not have that information sadly. Perhaps you could link me to something that is sure to work? As long as I am removing root, I am ok with what I end up with. Thanks again!

Samsung Galaxy S5 [PIT] [FIRMWARE] [G901F] [Everything Everywhere, UK]

Since I found them particularly difficult to obtain and use successfully with my S5, I've put together a few PITs and the right firmware for the Galaxy S5 G901F LTE/4G Plus model.
I know it's a fairly old model now, but I just thought I'd help some people out considering most websites offering these files are very slow, or no longer support it.
Note: I'm not responsible for anything that goes wrong with your device. Be careful and make sure that you follow trusted tutorials or guides on how to flash your phone.
:good:
Google Drive: (FIRMWARE)
Download
Google Drive: (PIT FILES. MAKE SURE THAT YOU KNOW WHAT YOU'RE DOING)
Download
- Please tell me if I've done anything wrong with the packaging of the files. I'm new, but I thought I should provide easy access to some last-resort options in case people were in trouble.
These files can be particularly useful when you've got your phone into a state of not booting up at all, and only allowing you to boot into Download Mode.
You can flash both of these with ODIN, however the latest version never seemed to work for me, so I suggest first trying the new version here, then the older 3.09:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/ga...08-2013-odin-3-09-odin-1-85-versions-t2189539
Let me know if I got anything wrong. Thanks.
Thank you so much !!!
Thanks alot for the PIT file!
Hello. How to use pit file? Thanks

Another "I've lost my imei and baseband thread"

Hi, apologies for another one of these threads but I've spent two days trawling the forums and haven't been able to find a fix for my Note 9 Exynos on PIE. Originally an UAE device.
Flashed UK stock rom so I could use Samsung pay, it flashed no problem, however I didn't backup my EFS like a dufus - I have no baseband, no imei's and no cell coverage.
Since then I have flashed back to stock UAE using ODIN and it didn't fix it. It's rooted, OEM unlocked and has TWRP installed.
No matter what method I use to fix, I can't get it working again. Is the phone dead now?
Thanks
Jamie
Same.
I actually accidentally solved it.
I must have flash 10 ROMs trying to fix it and finally, the DevBase ROM from the ROMS section worked.
I'm typing this on my Note 9. I don't know how it worked but it did!
