Android AIM app using SMS/Text and not data

Hey guys, I searched the forum and couldn't really find anything about this? Wondering if you guys know anything.
Is there an android app for aim that utilizes sms/texting instead of data? I know that the stock app uses texting, but that requires data to stay on and I don't have data.
I have a mytouch 3g (original, not the 1.2).
Help please

I am looking for this also. I have data and an unlimited sms plan. The IM programs that use data disconnect frequently and disconnect while on a phone call.
I am currently using AIM through SMS with the codes provided by AOL, although I would definitely rather have it in a nice tidy program.
Please let me know.

Does anyone else get this...
Phone will occasionally lose voicemail number, and Twitter settings.
Are these settings stored in the SQL lite database?
Does anyone know the cause of this problem.

Do you have an auto kill apps installed?
These are great little apps to free up memory and battery, but then it could end up killing feature you need... if you do take a look at the list of apps and process's that it is scheduled to kill then either look at the permissions and usage of that app/process and any suspect remove from the que.
This is my first thought of loosing settings anyway.

APP for blocking notifications

Hello there,
please, anyone knows if there is any application that blocks or disable temporarily some specific app?
for example, i don´t want to receive any notification or even put it to work whatsapp in certain time of the day

Manually add apps to conversation mode in Moto App

Is it possible to manually add apps to conversation mode? If yes, how? Did not find any such settings. It is giving option to add only those apps which the moto app considers as a Battery draining app

Can i send an SMS using NextPlus app with tasker?

Hi! Im new to tasker, i was wondering if there is a way to send an SMS to a specific number/contact using NextPlus app every month? Is like a maintenance task to not lose the free number the app gives.
