Hi,
Recently I soft bricked my phone due to flashing a gsm rom. So I managed to un-softbrick(?) my phone and just flashed CM11.
My problem is, I can't seem to activate my phone through CM 11. Can anyone help me with getting back to the stock rom and activating my phone or activate my phone while still on CM 11.
Much thank!

offcourse, even formatted internal partition and trying flashing using mi flashtool (fastboot rom) give me same result,.
I have exactly the same issue. I tried to install many different MIUI ROMs (China Stable, Global Stable, Global Dev, Xiaomi.eu), but I wasn't able to fix it. I've also recently had my phone serviced and as a result, the screen has been replaced, but even that hasn't solved the problem. I'd like to note that (in my case) the issue started to occur after installing LineageOS 15.1 - I haven't noticed this problem before.
Try flashing the lazy flasher.zip after installing the miui rom.
Hi guys, I have a strange problem with my other Mi 8.
A week ago the screen suddenly turned off while device was still on, so I could connect it to pc and transfer files or listen sound from device. I flashed it through fastboot to stock rom but I didn't solve the problem. After 7 days, the screen turned on and it seems working fine. I think it's not a software problem cause I flashed it, but it can't be a hardware problem cause now it works...
It's a Mi 8 China version, unlocked by unofficial way with global ROM installed: should I unlock it officially? Could be this the problem?
What do you think about? Thank you.
Hi,
I'm hoping someone out there can maybe help me with this please?
I have an Honor 9 Lite (LLD-L31C432) & recently the camera & flashlight stopped working. I've tried a number of other camera apps (the P20 ported camera, various google cams etc) but none work - all either open to a black screen & shut down immediately or else just say the app has crashed, etc.
The phone is bootloader unlocked and was on stock rom (LLD-GRP2-OVS-9.1.0.121). A few months ago I switched to Openkirin's Resurrection Remix OS 7.0.1 Beta 1 ROM & all worked ok (I had the stock camera, a Google Cam version and the P20 camera all working), but due to bluetooth problems I tried the Openkirin AOSP 10 Preview 1 ROM. Had a few problems with this one so tried to return to the stock ROM and had a lot of trouble getting it working again (bootloops, etc).
Eventually got the stock firmware back on but then noticed that the camera & flash no longer worked. Since then I've returned to both the Resurrection Remix ROM and the AOSP 10 Preview 1 (& Preview 2) ROMs but the problem still remains. Is it possible that I've broken the camera when fastboot flashing or using TWRP? I 'went around in circles' so much whilst trying to get back to stock that I can't remember ever step I tried, but it would seem a bit of a coincidence if the hardware failed just around the time of me having issues returning to stock ROM.
Also, If I was to relock the bootloader is it possible to tell that it has been unlocked in the past? It was purchased May 2018 so would still be in the 2yr warranty period but I wondered if Huawei could tell it had been unlocked in the past (I also read somewhere that the warranty is invalidated just by registering to get an unlock code, even if you never actually used it? - not sure how true this is!)
Cheers!
Andy
I recently decided to install custom ROM on my old POCO M2 because of performance issues, after a long and hard struggle, I somehow managed to install Project Elixer on the phone
however, when I tried to log in to some of my investing apps, which require OTPs, I am not receiving OTPs, (to be accurate not any SMS). then I tried to make a call and even calls are not working.
then to test it I tried from another phone to call the POCO M2 custom recovery phone. it is telling me that the number is switched off.
Things I tried: - go through all of the xda forums to find a solution but not good,
tried different versions of ROM and still same issue
(Note: I am totally a beginner, so an easy explanation would be appreciated thanks)
