Hi all
I'm looking for the stock ROM for my watch.
I flashed developer preview 4 but want to go back to stock until it's ready for prime time
Any suggestions?

Isn't the non-preview image located on the same site as the preview?
https://developer.android.com/wear/preview/downloads.html#set_up_a_watch
I haven't made the leap, but when Android Pay arrives with preview 5 next month I may give it a try.
Exactly. Non preview (for after the tests) image is the one you ask for.
That image is garbage, after flashing the battery drain is awful and the rom crashes randomly

No, I'm not talking about the DP, I'm referring to the stock image made available that takes you back to 5.1 after you flash DP4
I am using that stock image, flashed after preview and no problem at all. It is stock software used by everyone yet so it has no such problem like you described.

Sounds like the file you flashed was corrupted. Download the stock image again, to make sure that wasn't the problem, and flash it again. My best guess is that the memory wasn't completely wiped and some random write error is causing the issues. Regardless, starting over will fix everything

May I try the DP4 if I have W-200E (European, non LTE but 3G) model? The preview is advertised as for LTE model. Also the stock image is LTE image, not 3G. Is it safe to try it on 3G model?

Yes, you can, mine works fine.

Taken from the leaked 2.3.4hktw and tested on my A4G. 2G/3G data/call works.
Flash like any other SBF's.
There are multiple reports saying it shows only one bar but speed is noticably faster,
while for me it is faster and showing correct signal bars.
I did a full wipe to perform BP clear. Maybe that's the reason.

don't really know. my first impression is, it's slightly faster than 1.92.00R, handles 2/3G transition differently (better for me) and doesn't heat up like 1.87.00R.
i'll give it a few more days to see what happens.

so are the speeds the same?
flashed perfectly on my AT&T Atrix 4G with latest firmware.. reception is significantly lower but I scored the highest speedtest I've scored on this phone so far here in Australia.
4mbit/s download
1.65mbit/s upload
EDIT: I believe we can now confirm that there is an issue where it shows one bar but is probably a lot higher.

Mine is showing 3~4 bar (3G/HSPA) as it should and my dl/ul is also seeing a nice bump.
PS. I did a full wipe (because it clears BP data) after flashing this.

how to flash? tried to do rsd lite but start button is greyed.
Downloading now Thanks!!! I'm hoping this may fix my problem with my signal dropping all the time!! I'm just gonna flash the 1.83 firmware full version sbf that should do a full wipe right? If that doesn't do a full wipe then I'll just flash back down to 1.26 then update accordingly as usual. Then flash this radio.

Hi, the 1st image shows 5.0.2 lollipop?! How did you get that please?
???
does this kernel work on all phones, sprint att and such with stock roms or do i need a custom rom?
also, i am used to flashing roms and kernels on galaxy phones, so this is new to me. Is it the same process? Get into TWRP and install the zip? Or do i need to do a complete wipe? If i want to return back to stock for any reason, what will I have to then? Basically, im concerned with erasing my data.
Thanks

The kernel is universal, works for everything. Just flash the zip same process, boot into twrp and flash the kernel and then reboot.
It's as simple as that. If you want to return to stock then flash stock kernel zip, it's simple.

For those of us running LS your home and multitasking buttons will disappear. You can use pie controls to counter this. Also your lock screen won't work it will just shown your home screen when you dt2w or press the power to wake the device. I don't use a lock code so this is what happens to me. I love Franco's kernels after using them on my Nexus 7 and I can't wait to use this one once the issues are fixed.

Franco kernel updater. It's the app that companions the kernel which let's you update the kernel with a click of a button as well as tweak settings of the kernel and change colors and have profiles etc.
It's 30 percent off right now. Is it worth buying? Of course, it's on sale and still holiday season.

You can flash the kernel with on click via the app. Its painless and awesome. If you haven't used the app before check out the options there are even ones to save previous kernels and per app settings. The app is worth every penny.

No, you'll need to kdz to stock M, ensure Enable OEM Bootloader unlock is checked, and then reboot into bootloader mode to 1) do OEM unlock and 2) boot into TWRP in order to permanently install TWRP. It's pretty simple. I think I spent a grand total of 10-15 minutes setting it up: http://forum.xda-developers.com/tmobile-g4/development/stock-h811-20i-images-kdz-flashable-t3308227

Same as I posted above. If you're not yet on M, you'll need to flash the M KDZ (or OTA update to M, if you're still on stock), unlock bootloader and re-install TWRP to flash any M ROM.

Wow lol you just repeated the same question that was already answered literally above your post. Like you didn't even read. If your on any 5.1 ROM you have to flash the stock mm ota update first before flashing any mm ROM. After flashing the stock mm always make sure OEM unlock is enabled. Unlock your bootloader, flash twrp recovery.

As with any non-stock camera app, I'm sure there is a bit of a hit to quality, since they can't access LG's closed-source camera, but honestly, I can't tell a huge quality difference myself. The Snap camera used in CM (as well as Bliss, which I'm currently running with Llama Sweet Kernel with some tweaks - I highly recommend this kernel so far for CM or Bliss, or just about any other AOSP-ish ROM) has taken some big steps forward since CM was first available for the G4. (Full disclosure, some people have had issues with the flash going at the wrong time, causing over/underexposed pics, but I haven't seen it on mine. Others have also reported a bit of a hit to video (some lagginess) but I haven't taken any video yet to confirm or deny.)

Honestly, and this is always my advice, I'd say go ahead and try it out. Just do a backup beforehand, and test out the camera first thing after flashing. If it's up to par, great! If not, 5 minutes later you're back to stock. Like I said, I haven't seen any of the issues a few others are reporting so far. Of course it's totally up to you. Just don't want you to deprive yourself of AOSP for something that may not effect you at all.

Hello. I when I click on download, it crashes. I get "unfortunately, the process android.process.media has stopped." So far that is the only app behaving like that. Someone else can confirm this or is just me?. I even reset whole system and same issue.
TURBO
Been rocking it for a bit over a day. It runs beautifully. I've installed open gapps as well. The only issue I have is that video playback will seem to pause for a second while the audio continues, so it'll end up lagged by a second. This happens every time you pause a video too, so it'll become increasingly lagged the more you do it, leaving the audio and video totally de-synced.
Edit: Running the 02/14 nightly. Will update later and see if it gets resolved.
We already have a support thread for our devices at the G4 Int forum. All you need it to do was link that thread in our general discussion forum instead. No developers for CM13 will see this thread at all. Lol

My Nexus 6 is on TeamOcto OS with their custom kernel but this glitch also happens on other custom firmware that i flash a custom kernel too.
When using certain apps like the you tube app or waze the screen glitches out into like 4 different boxes and the only fix so far is to switch off my screen and switch it back on. I want to know if it is due to a faulty part on my phone or if it is because of the kernel's i flash onto the phone

Old hat, this glitch is. There are equal chances that it is either software or hardware related. The right kernel may solve this, as well as making sure to use the default DPI (560). If it's hardware related, you'll be looking to RMA the device.
Can't RMA it since I bought it of of swappa but I'll probably just try flashing a different ROM without flashing a custom kernel
This comes up in the ElementalX kernel thread every so often. Recommend work around is to use Interactive governor.

I had this problem and the only two kernels that every resolved this were Flash kernel and LeanKernel (which is no longer supported and has not been updated in ages) Somewhere here in XDA for my nexus 6 I posted a photo of the same problem, it typically have happened after playing youtube videos.
I stopped using Elemental X as I have this problem with it every time, I know there is the interactive governor to resolve it but I just went to LeanKernel and then to Flash kernel. Problem solved.

Actually it is a combo of the two. People seem to think that any kernel will work with any rom. This is not the case. Each room team codes their kernel to work with the rom so other kernels may not work.

That's true, but I haven't heard of any specific rom for elemental x. Not bashing elemental x, it was my preferred kernel for my nexus 5. I am thinking it depends on the date your specific nexus 6 was built, some aren't affected, while some are . They were shipped with different eMMC and ram

True. This is why I only use the kernel that comes with the rom I am using. This way I know they are coded to work together.
Please excuse my bumping an old thread.
I recently decrypted my Nexus 6 and the problem completely stopped. The Interactive Governor solution only decreased the frequency of the occurences.
Hope this helps!

I doubt that you have tried all ROMs.
I also wonder why people install / use a highly outdated ROM

Name a more stable n complete rom which does not need to flash separate gapps package n root. It might be Oreo but atleast I found it to have everything I needed. So which according to you is the best??

I don't know why included gapps and su is a big pro. You only need to flash it once as it survives updates.
Personally I don't think there is something like 'the best ROM' as everybody has different needs or preferences.
Also I am not the right person to recommend a ROM as I am highly biased as LineageOS maintainer.
But if you look at the other ROM's shamu sources you'll see where the real development was done

That's y u dislike pixel experience coz it jealous of King. Ur lineage is might be on pie but we all know it's unstable (atleast not 100% stable unlike pixel experience) proof? Jus look at the number of people complaining on your thread. ?

Do you have the link to the ROM you used? or the link to the forum that you had gone to. I have tried Moar ROM before but got crashed and random restarts.
Did you have to make any modifications at all? Kernel / API's anything?
Thanks!!

I used this one https://forum.xda-developers.com/sp...m-moar-pc3-mm-rom-v3-0-making-smoars-t3364338
I followed the instructions in the OP, I didnt had to modify anything, and my phone is running smothly. The only thing I've notice is some battery drain after I installed some apps. Now I'm going to try to flash n920p Nougat on it, wish me luck lol

I had no luck flashing n920p Nougat in my N920r4, I guess I'll have to wait until the official update. Did you flashed MOAR?

From my previous posts, pasted here for help, take it easy and do next:
Now, i can confirm that ROM from thread NAMED: ☆☆》》TELETEAM ROMS N5 & S6E+《《☆☆ by Slidder10 w , PARTICULARLY THIS S8+ 5.2 rom WORKS on N920 R4 US Cellular variant!!
All U have to do is: Install through Odin Stock 7.0, paste rom (S8+ 5.2) on Internal memory, install Nougat TWRP, do ALL wipes except Internal memory, Install Rom and enjoy with Note 5!! Great rom!!! This is Only and first rom(so far tested by me) that works without any modification on N920R4! And it is looks great, fast and without lags. Battery is so far same as on Stock(or closely to it). Any Quest, let me know! :fingers-crossed:
