[Q] Nexusish/Pixelish rom ? - One (M7) Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Is there a rom that mimics Google's Nougat on pixel ? I know we're very close with CM14.1, but i mean the extra details, like the launcher, the wallpaper.
Something like [ROM][N5][NMF26O] Fake nexus rom for Nexus 5. [Dec/06/2016]

[Q] MIUI Launcher over Cyanogen?

Is it possible to use the launcher from MIUI over Cyanongenmod 6.0? I really like the launcher but I like the features and smoothness of cyanogenmod. Maybe the lockscreen as well?
What hardware are using. I think there is something like that for Droid. I could be wrong. I haven't seen anything for Nexus though.
MIUI 0.9.30 - Its been good so far!
+1 for the lockscreen
That is true it will be the best rom if we can get miui,s launcher. Is there any way we can try that

[Q] how great will touchwiz 4 be?

so some touchwiz 4 ports are out already, i tried one and i didnt really like it, so here's the question:
will developers be able to port ALL the touchwiz 4 elements, including the launcher, icons, functionality, widgets and wallpapers to the sgs and maybe other devices?
no matter what most people think, i really like the look and feel of touchwiz eventhough it might not be as professional as sense or launcherpro and so on..
BUT the new touchwiz 4 is almost close to an ideal launcher. so are we going to be able to use a full feature touchwiz 4 on sgs someday? maybe as an apk file or a theme package or maybe even a touchwiz 4 ROM?!
Sure hopes so, but you need some really great devs for this.
just to understand the procedure, wht exactly do the developers do to port the touchwiz 4 to sgs?
i mean, the stock rom gets deodexed, they extract it and find the .apks of the launcher, wallpaper chooser, widgets and such stuff, then what? wont they just work if they are installed on other wvga devices? what else should be done?

TW AOSP look ROM?

On my SE Arc I am running JJ's Hybrid ROM which uses the Sony stock ROM as a base but is heavily tweaked to look like AOSP. Is there any thing like this for the Note - maybe a combination of ROM and a theme? Basically I like the look of AOSP but would like all full functionality of TW. Thanks.
I have been wondering the same. I have not come across anything.

I don't really understand this - why don't you just install another launcher that looks more like AOSP? My personal choice is Nova, but there are plenty of others.

Of course I can install another launcher – but that is not my issue. In many ways I do not actually mind TW Home and sometimes use this as well as Nova when I am on a Touch Wiz ROM. But what I do not like about Touch Wiz is the more than launcher it is the settings menus, the icons and the overall look. JJ’s hybrid ROM looks AOSP but gives you full functionality – something that no CM/AOKP ROM I have ever tried has managed to do (actually there is the 2.3 ROMs on my Hannspad), although don’t get me wrong I do appreciate the devs work and I have happily donated when using those ROMs. But with CM9 we are missing the FM radio and on the Note we are also missing the MHL HDMI functionality. I don’t often use these these but occasionally I do. JJ’s ROMs have been on my Arc since March. For me this is a record as I am a complete ROM whore.
At the moment I am using Chrack’s v12 and I am happy, but still looking….

[Q] Love to have the new 4.3... BUTTT!?

Hey there,
This has probably been answered before. so a simple redirect would be ok.
I love the stock look of the N7000 (menu buttons and locker) but all of the 4,3 roms have the Nexus menu buttons and app locker suck. I find those horrible to use.
First question... what would it be called (kinda nooby when it comes to launchers and such).... Are they called AOSP or AOKP or something.. or is it completely different.
Are there any roms which look like the stock rom.. but with enhanced features with the new 4.3 features?
Thanks in advance.
Ricky
aosp, aokp, cm, miui are just rom types.
By saying menu buttons you mean the whole look of an interface. You mean You want this stock 4.1.2 samsung blue stuff?
Because if this is what You want you may want to download samsung theme for cm from the google play.

That makes sense,
Just hate the look of the nexus/whole tablet interface of the rom new roms..
Just stuck with the updated version of LiveNote 5.2.
What are you rocking?

I'm using PA myself and it allows for nice customization when it comes to looks. Have you tried that? There are also a few fun launchers that might solve your cosmetic issue. Is it mostly the new DPI settings you're having trouble with? Or just the general art style of Android?

I haven't tried PA yet. Next on the list.
I am looking for a stock icons/colour scheme, the apps logo not to look like the nexus variation of droid. Just me being an oldschool stock visuals.

I'm currently running Lungo ROM (android 4.0.4) because it's light.
If You are searching for more functions use PA, or the best "Jellybam".
That's the best ROM ever, but it uses a LOOOOT of memory.

Animated Pixel navbar Nexus 5X mod port for OPO [REQUEST]

Apparently, some people who are clearly smarter than I am created a flashable zip for the Nexus 5X on 7.1.1 that replaces the stock navigation buttons with the new animated and filled in nav buttons from the Pixel and Pixel XL. Is it possible for someone to port this mod over to our beloved OnePlus One? I'm trying my hardest to Pixel-ify my OPO as accurately as possible, and I don't have the experience or skill to port things. Anyone down to give this a try?
