font installer.
Download "fontster" from Play store and use..
Hello everyone,
I have a little task. I want to change my system font. I'm on OOS 4.0.3 rooted. Every single app that says it does it only allows me to choose from their font selection. But I have a custom TTF font I'd like to use.
Is there any solution to get this working?
You could just mod the app & insert your font? Quickest way would be to get the font apk on your computer, change the last bit from (.apk) to (.zip), unzip & swap the font package but inserting yours, then resign the apk with a resigning app from the playstore, then install the app & pick the font name you swapped! Or you could go poking though your system files from a file manger app & just paste straight over the top then reboot. But to be honest the first way would probably be safer. But make sure before you start have a Recovery Backup ready just in case

In case anyone interested, attached is an old rounded clean font originally found in https://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s6-edge/help/req-sjsecret-lg-font-apk-port-s6-t3166368/amp/ . Credits goes to contributor/uploader.
Added one serif fonts, it's a bit small, though I can enlarge it but the problem is it will no longer work after repack.

I will if I can, but as far as I'm concern, unlike for Asus devices, there is no way to create installable fonts for LG device. Those are old fonts, presumably no longer available in Smartworld.

Cool, just confirming no Root requirement.
Does this open up the possibility of more font customization? I've noticed the fonts folder on the device has more fonts than what's listed in system settings.
Works on LG V20. Thanks! ??

I'm trying to do this too. Has anyone been able to change the font in the apk? I can install the apk with no error but cannot get the font to show up.
Sadly, you can't. It's not officially signed so it is not eligible to be used in LG device
Hi, in case you still hang on to your LG device. I coincidently find a guide that allows us to do so. You can follow the thread https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/lg-font-generator.4406787/
