Anyone else having this issue after updating to Nougat?
My LED will not work in any situation whether it'd be charging light or a notification. Unsure why...
Mine is working. Try to flash a full 1.4GB zip and then do a factory reset.

From OOS 4.0 like the original post? If so, try a more recent update. There are many, since 4.0 is over 9 months old. Try to install the full update zip.
If not OOS 4.0, then it's best to avoid just saying "I have the same problem" without providing the proper details.
Same problem. Currently testing OOS 4.5.0, LED doesn't work, even with GravityBox or LightFlow. Only charging works, notifications doesn't, it's like the device had no diode.
I miss the stability of OOS 3.5.4, everything worked there. You see, the newest isn't always the best.
Edit: it started to work with GB on itself. LED blinks now.

Hi,
is there a possibility to change the notification-led settings? Like that the LED should shine instantly or blink so long till i unlock the phone?
Thanks...
(I´ve the One for 2 days now and want to install TrickDroid)
There's not much you can do with the led
And you should flash trickdroid
Hmm, but why? Is it not possible to change the kernel "a little bit" so you can config the led?
You can download a led app from Google play but you got to be rooted it doesn't work very well
There's also LightFlow, but apparently there's some serious compatibility issues with the One at the moment. Perhaps when there's an update.
so as of right now, there is no way to extend the duration of the flashing led notification without rooting? it really doesn't make sense that it would turn off after a few minutes. it seems obvious that it should remain blinking until you've viewed the notification...or is it just me? can this be done if the phone has been rooted?
I flashed Arhd 12.1 and Bulletproof 3.4 on my device, now my Led Notification doesn't work anymore at all. Any Suggestions how i can get it to work again ? Or is it just not possible ?
Does your LED work while charging?
I found that on my old desire HD, after flashing a new rom, the notification flash settings in display settings were all switched off. Simply re-enabling these solved my problem.
Thanks for answering. Yes the led worked while charging (red/green). But the notification led blinking didn't worked. i checked the settings for the led notification so that wasn't the problem. Now after a few hours it suddenly started working, i don't know why, i didn't changed any settings.
That's strange.
ROMs can be a bit random during the first few hours of usage, at least from my experience.
At least you managed to get it working properly now which was the initial problem!
Hello,
First of all im new to this scene so dont hate me for my lack of knowledge. Currently im running Cynaogenmod 12 on my Nexus 6.
In Stock of this CM the LED Notificatio Light is enabled. But this LED isnt blinking, just shining all time. Is there any way to fix that issue?
P.S.: Today I want to change to Chroma ROM and Vindicator Kernel. Anyone who knows if this issue is solved in another Custom Rom?
Best Greetings,
Barely_Alive
The LED doesn't blink natively, it has to be done via software.
There is a post in the general section where people were using LightFlow and perhaps using Tasker to accomplish this, I think there is a custom ROM that claims to have a blinking LED. My guess would be either way could potentially be a little buggy, in that it won't work all the time and/or probably wouldn't be too friendly on the battery, as your device has to stay awake for the software to tell it to blink.

Right, but there is some settings that can make it blink, I think they combined it with Tasker. There is a thread in general that was quite popular where they talked about it.
Edit: This one or perhaps this one talk about how to do it with light flow (and whatever else they use). This is the custom ROM that includes it
Great! Thank you for your help

MeanPop has a blinking LED for notifications if you don't mind a stock base.
so I upgraded from cm12.1 to stock MM 6.0 and I don't see any setting for LED notification - it doesn't work on itself.
i flashed through fastboot so no errors could be made during the process.
did they remove LED notification in MM?
no advanced shutdown menu is also a bummer :/

Stock does not have, and has never had led notifications. That is only in CM.

bollocks, stock LP has led notification.
answer me this, if Motorola didn't implement led notification in stock rom why would they bother mounting the led in the first place?

Stock lollipop does not have it either. That led is not a notification led. It only lights up when the cellphone has zero battery and you plug it in, it is to show that it is charging.
CM hacked the led and turned it into a notification light
There is NO stock rom, kitkat, lollipop nor marshmallow that has a notification led.

no $h!t, didn't notice that, since i flashed cm few hours after unboxing
sorry mate for not believing.
shame on moto, SHAME!
Right after updating my OP3T (clean flash) to Nougat I started to encounter some recent apps screen bugs. Sometimes the first tap on recents button doesn't make the recent apps appear - although the touch is registered and confirmed by the haptic feedback. The second bug I come across is that when I tap onto the clean all button in recents, it sometimes disappears and the apps don't get closed. To exit the screen I have to use home/back button, the whole recent apps screen freezes btw and it doesn't react to scrolling.
Any tips?
EDIT
Another bug I noticed is the quick settings lag while swiping down the notification bar and different LED color (while charging for instance) than set in settings.

Are you rooted? Try a factory reset and see if it persists.
I've got the same bug with the recent button.
OOS 4.0 updated through OTA, rooted. Had the bug before i rooted too.

Nope, I'm not rooted (trying to live without root, already 3 days pretending I can make it xD). Just wiped the whole phone after updating.

this already happened on 3.5.4, truly annoying.
I said this on another thread but 7.0 when I was using it on the 6P was quite laggy and buggy, 7.1.1 was a big step up in performance. I'm seeing similar issue on the 3T I did on the 6P on 7.0. I really hope OP update their base to 7.1.1.
These issues can only exists in OnePlus phones for months or years.. OnePlus is for hardware and not software.

At least I'm not the only one to encounter it :/
