X526 stock rom... - LeEco Le 2 Questions & Answers

Hey, I see you give us a stock rom for the x526. I have a x527 with 5.8.016s
Is the problem with the IR Remote solved in 5.8.019? Or do I have a defect phone?
Also the question, what is the brightness bug for this phone, it is mentioned here, but I can't find explanations.
If i'm not flashing twrp and don't root my device is it possible to flash back my old rom without anyone able to see that, because of warranty.
Last and most stupid question at last, is there a kind of stock twrp on my phone? I can just enter the fastboot mode I guess.
It is because I don't have a system update option in my rom like they are telling me here
Not able to post link as a noob, sorry. It was the original installation guide from le me community side
and I would just like updating because of missing functions and for safety, I don't need root, special functions and more speed if it maybe has any issues I don't want to update. So what is the most stable rom out there?
Thx for your help

[Q] Vodafone Nexus Stock to > Custom Rom Instructins Please

hi guys i need to know the basic instructions from scratch, with links to the needed files. i need the safest possible way to do this. am looking to update with a hybrid Sense and a stable android 2.3.3 fully working.
This rom looks excellent, http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1123997
first time with good knowledge of the subject. however simple and safe instructions needed
thanks in advance
ps. i looked at other post but there are too many methods and am confused as Sh*t
Ok well do you want to unlock the bootloader or keep it locked? Cause there are methods to do it with or without.
Also sorry for my ignorance but what is the base android version for the vodafone ROM.
well am not sure if i should unlock the bootloader of what the benafits are but can you upload a tutorial video or text thanks
Well unlocking the bootloader will give you access to fastboot which can come in handy if you get into trouble and can flash a few things (but very few) that you can't via recovery. The down side is that it will void your warranty if you still have some left and it will wipe your phone.
I am using http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=995445 at this moment.
use this guide to root and flash your room
just replace the CM7 rom with your rom at the last part

[Q] [Respond ASAP please] CWM Installed before flashing, uninstall possible?

Hi there!
First of all, yes, I'm completely new to modding Android phones. Not so new to modding in general though, which makes me question why I made such a nooby mistake... but alas, I now have to ask what many might think to be a nooby question in order to fix said mistake.
Just as the title said, I accidentally installed CWM before flashing my phone, and am now unable to launch into Recovery Mode. I know that there's a way to get it revert it to stock recovery, but as far as I've been able to tell, there's no way to do that without going into the Recovery menu in the first place. Does anybody have an idea what I can do?
My phone can still launch to the firmware (stock firmware, but am planning on installing Cyanogenmod 11), so for now I'm alright but considering the OTHER problems I'm having with the stock firmware, I'd really like a way to get back to my installation ASAP. If I can't, I'll get to my problems with the stock FW later...

[Q] (Q) Problem with Carbon and Mahdi Rom

I 've tried both roms (clean install) but only the front camera is working (model d405n)
I 've tried with CWM and TWR but with the same result.
Is there any fix for that?
No idea... Have you done a full wipe?
(If you realy want, you can restore everything with kdz en start all over again?)
We have one guy on polish forum with the same issue. Strange thing, as if there is more than one d405 variant.
Yes i did a full wipe.
I restore with kdz, root again, full wipe, install rom, and the problem still exist
is there any kernel i can use?
I use the latest CarbonROM (CARBON-KK-UNOFFICIAL-20141004-1556) for my D405n and front camera works. Are you sure you flashed the correct bootloader image (boot.img)?
i can not find a link for that build. Can you please post a link here?

I haven't seen anybody got fix for that yet and it may me a little problem since most users don't experience this bug whilist having the same phone version. Maybe some dev might look into it and tell you at least what it is caused by

Doogee X5 SP Flash Tool questions

First of all, sorry if this is the wrong place for the question. I just registered, so I'm not very familiar with this.
Okay, so I'm gonna try to make this as short as possible: I rooted my Doogee X5 with Kingo Root, then installed a wireless update(believe it's called an OTA), which ended in an error. Every time I boot up my phone, it just leads me to the recovery mode. I might send it for repairs because I still have a warranty(although I don't really think they're gonna do much when they see the root), but I'd like a different way to fix it if they don't. AKA SP Flash Tool(if there are any other ways to fix it that are less risky, please do suggest them).
Now to my questions: Are there any things I need to be careful about during flashing? If I flash the wrong ROM, do I have another chance? Also, if there is a tutorial around here that might be useful for me(as detailed as possible please, so I can see what needs and doesn't need to be done), it would be much appreciated to link it. Thanks in advance.
EDIT: Sub-question, what are the recommended images to flash to fix my problem?
SP Flash Tool is right way to go. Download latest version, and download latest ROM version for your phone.
But do not make a mistake like me. First do backup of everything. If you do not make backup and format phone, you will need to lose some time and reconfigure things manually.
SP Flash Tool can make backup for you. You will need scatter file, and option Readback in SP Flash Tool.
After that you can download latest version of ROM.
I agree with giga. Plus one question dude. How you backed up the devices rom since the sp tool hasnt this option or i cant noticed and find. I want to root install custom recovery and also back it up. What should i do ? Is there a correct order if these steps ? I dont want to brick the device, i dont use a second one. What do you suggest me ?

problems when going back to stock rom (lineage 17.1 working fine)

hallo guys, i have issues when i try to go back to a version of the stock rom because they wont boot
not sure what im doing wrong, i hope someone can tell me..
here the full story: when i got the device, i checked the stock rom which was ok.
my plan was to use lineageos, so i unlocked the bootloader, installed TWRP and flashed the global vendor, unofficial 17.1 and gappswhich.
this is working fine and i can always reinstall this lineage the way i mentioned above, but i saw that the finger unlock is not working in that rom as expected.
since i didnt test it in stock rom, i thought lets try this and now comes the issue, i can not find any solution to go back to stock rom which is working.
#1 tried to download rom from https://mi-globe.com/miui-firmware-rom-builder-features/19/ which should be flashed with TWRP (howto there).
when flashing, this is not finishing and looks like its stuck in twrp flashing. ok, since the download for other config was broken yesterday, there might be issues.
#2 downloaded stable rom from https://forum.xda-developers.com/k20-pro/how-to/rom-miui-11-xiaomi-eu-t3984691
flashing works, but device is in boot loop then. im sure i was missing something or doing wrong, so i searched for another option.
#3 found a youtubevide about BACK2STOCK https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KBsWNrKNZzA
downloaded all the needed packages and did it like it was in the video.
result: all flashed like shown in the video, when system reboot is done MI logo is shown around 60seconds and then rebooting to TWRP
#4 i would go for the solution to flash via MIFLASH, but before i break something i thought i better ask here.
since there are so many issues, i would need your help to point me to the mistakes im doing here.
going back to lineage 17.1 is not a problem, i just did again and this is working.
so if you read this, please find time to explain me if you want to.
thank you
yeah, you are missing a step.
you have to format data partition.
check my guide on how to install roms: https://forum.xda-developers.com/k20-pro/how-to/simple-beginners-guide-to-raphaelin-t4020543
also, may I suggest EU/masik instead of stock, its a lot better
in #3 you can see that in the video data is also formated: https://youtu.be/KBsWNrKNZzA?t=190
of course i did this too....was also not working.
reading your simple beginners guide and downloading MIUI EU ROM (xiaomi.eu_multi_HMK20ProMI9TPro_V11.0.5.0.QFKCNXM_v11-10.zip)
flashed it, was also not working/booting. tried also with flashing vendor (the one from lineage) before, no change.....
what should i do?

Don't flash vendor, theirs no need, eu.miui has everything in the one zip file. Just to clarify have you formatted in twrp? The option where it requires you to type 'yes'? Everything gets wiped from your photos and apps all to the rom itself. Then just flash eu.miui and reboot. Works everytime for me without fail.
no i never formatted in TWRP wipe, only used the factory reset and swiped to wipe.
just did a format and flashed xiaomi.eu_multi_HMK20ProMI9TPro_V11.0.5.0.QFKCNXM _v11-10.zip
ITS BOOTING!!
first please let me thank you very much for this help, i was already quite desperate about nothing working except LINEAGE.
fingerprint in MIUI rom is working great, unbelievable!
can you please explain me why this FORMAT in WIPE is needed and what its used for? i was not aware and i can not find it in any of the howtos..
haha, glad it's working. Knew the problem was that you didn't format.
however since you posted on xda, I just assumed you knew format data is not the same as wiping data.
(literally, the most common beginners mistake for this phone)
it's cause of the encryption keys, when moving from MIUI to AOSP (and vice-versa) a format data partition is required.
I stated this in How To Change My ROM? I wanna Try them all!
section in the first post.
under there, FOR MIUI ROMS (since that is what you were trying to do)
you missed the 7th bullet point. (you can also text me on telegram)
(also, in the same guide, I inform people to flash their vendor first -4th bullet point- then in the 5th bullet point you wipe it.)
(this is cause often miui customs and some people are usually on a vendor that isnt there's. you have to be on your region vendor, then wipe it, then allow the miui custom's vendor to take over, else you will face fingerprint problems)
This is just another point most just don't follow.
Umm, if my guide needed anything to be included, or like... needed to be more easy to read and follow... I can edit that if you like.
(use can text me on telegram as well)
edit: just read the xiaomi.eu one, I'll edit it to make it more informative

You're not installing stock ROMs. You are installing custom ROMs based on stock.
If you want to return to true stock grab a fastboot ROM from here and flash it with the Mi Flash Tool. After fully extracting the ROM delete the flash_all_lock.bat file before flashing. That way you cannot accidentally lock the bootloader.
Then choose the 'clean all' option in the Mi Flash Tool before you hit the flash button.
thank you.
my mistake, i didnt write clear. i just wanted to test a miui rom to see how the fingerprint is working there. im happy now with the custom rom based on stock.
but i also went for this solution you mentioned and noticed that on the https://www.xiaomiflash.com/ site only older xiaomi devices are mentioned as beeing compatible.
looks like this is not the point, so im happy to have this option too.
