My current MI5 with the RR Rom 7.01 has a problem that factory resetting or fulling reinstalling the ROM wont help. The screen always goes to sleep after 10 seconds no mater if i have change it in the settings.
Are you using the latest version of that particular RR rom? If so, you might want to check the developer forum for that ROM as it might be a bug also experienced by other users. If that's the case, you can either wait until the developer fixes it or alternatively switch to another ROM such as CM14.1

Hi there,
in the last days i've tried about 10 to 15 different Vanir ROMS, from stable 4.3.1, to 092614 nightly up to the current 4.4.4 nightly built 100614. There where different problems, but one remains: i can not disable NFC! Even today i flashed my device 5 times, every time with wipe, format, wipe, install, wipe, reboot.
What can i do to disable that horrible piece of crap called NFC?
Does everyone have a tip how to disable it or have a recommendation which Vanir version i should use?
Thanks in advance

you should be able to disable it after restarting once after flashing. so flash, boot rom to homescreen, reboot then disable.
Yesterday i solved my problem with NFC:
i just put a piece of tape on the NFC antenna contacts, so the phone doesn't recognized the antenna and i was able to disable NFC. No NFC -> no battery drain!
One problem solved (or so ...) and other appeared: today i couldn't hear my phone partner, like in the newer Vanir versions I've tried, i thought this problem just appear in the current 10xx14 Vanir versions because of a CM bug? After a reboot it worked. Is there a solution how to solve this problem or which version should i use which are not affected? Currently i use 092614 ...
Hi everyone,
I just installed the HTCLegacy Unofficial Cyanogenmod 12.1 rom (CM12.1 Beta 0) and I can't turn the wifi on, the option even seems to be completely disable.
Is there anyway I can fix this ?
Others don't have this porblem, I may have done something wrong when flashing the rom...
EDIT : I solved the problem by re-installing completely the rom, clean and fresh. Wifi is now working
Hi all,
I encountered this problem since the very first day I got my device.
At first, I thought is the bug of official ROM, the ROM running is MIUI 7 global stable.
After few times update, the problem still the same.
My device is running MIUI 8 global stable at this moment, and I still have this problem.
I tried to post my question on MIUI official forum but still I cant get a solution.
I tried reset and reflash the ROM, but still cannot solve my problem.
Is there any solution from guys from XDA ? Besides flash my device to custom ROM.
I have a problem with the Bluetooth module. When I first time turn it on, it's working normally but the second time it's never start. The only way is the reboot then work normally again, once.
ROM: MIUI 10 Xiaomi.EU 8.8.9
Same here my friend.
Is Rom problem
I use same rom and I have same problem too. What about who uses global rom?
Use 8.8.30 xiaomi.eu, no issues here (had similar BT issues on earlier versions). If you don't run this one or later maybe a clean flash helps.

This is a known problem with an easy fix.
BT stops working after deactivating it once or going to airplane mode.
You have to:
Put the phone in airplane mode
Reboot to recovery
Wipe ART/Dalvik and Cache
Reboot to system
afterwards it works.
Thanks to PMShodan for this hint

I tried this method, it works for a few days, then the problem recurs! Tt the moment no definitive solution
Do you think the problem is of the bluetooth driver, or is it a bug of the miui 10? strange that the xiaomi team has not yet found a solution
Hi guys, I still have the bluetooth bug, I have the miui 10 stable (oreo based) of the miui eu team. Is there a definitive solution? thank you
Same issues with the Bluetooth on Mi 8 Global with Miui 10 and I need to know if it is hardware or software, cause I want to use a custom Rom and I need to know if I am to use the warranty
- Bluetooth sometimes tries to connect to inactive device;
- Sometimes in messenger the phone doesn't switch to Bluetooth
Bluetooth is not working at all on MIUI 10 after air update.
When trying to turn it on it just shows error notification in the bottom of screen.
After updating to MIUI 13, I randomly have freezing issue (when scrolling tiktok, playing game, watching youtube, etc.) which sometimes fixes if I wait and the system shows notification of "The *app* stopped working" or something, and many other times I can only force reboot the phone (by holding the power botton until it reboots).
The issue never occured on MIUI 12, only on MIUI 13 from the first version untill now. So overtime I downgrade the ROM or change it to other variants such as global version (the issue also occurs in other country's variants of MIUI 13), hoping that the bug is fixed everytime there is a newer version of MIUI 13 of Indonesia but it's never been fixed.
I report many times through the feedback and service but they only suggest to keep the RAM and memory managed, and to charge the phone in time, which don't solve the issue since I have plenty of internal memory space available and use the phone the same when I'm on MIUI 12 (also how the hell do I charge it in time?!).
Does anyone have this issue as well? And how do you fix it other than to downgrade or to change to custom ROMs? Is it better to wait till MIUI 14 comes out than to downgrade it again? Sorry for my bad English.
i have the same issue though, I'm still hoping an update for this kinda issue because it's really annoying. I'm not sure for install custom rom will fix it, or it does.
I ever thought that downgrade is the only way to do, because when I use miui 12 I didn't get any of bugs and issues.

MIUI 13.0.8 just came out a few days ago for my region, but I won't upgrade it at least until MIUI 14 comes out.
Installing custom rom does fix it. I tried Pixel Experience once and never got the bug, but I didn't quite like the overall appereance so I decided to just downgrade it again to MIUI 12.5.5.
Yes. I have had this EXACT same issue, too. factory reset did not resolve. Redmi Note 9 Phone is all but useless now. Can use for a few minutes at a time, before it freezes. Miui 14 should be around the corner now, but I'm not hopeful.

MIUI 14 also does not resolve the issue for me, so downgrading is the only solution (not even MIUI 13 and 14 based custom rom fix it). But some people from RN10pro forum got it fixed after a few updates. Here are some suggestion I got from there:
1. Check if your SD card is dead, simply replace it or take it out.
2. Change your system to light mode.
3. Disable the memory extension.
Some people got it fixed after doing one of the above suggestions but not for me.
