ResurrectionRemix N [OFFICIAL] --superSU bugs - OnePlus 3T Questions & Answers

I have already flashed the newest SuperSU. And I have use is for several minutes. But it will lost SU binary after several times. Then I flashed it again, but it occurs again.
The superSU will say:
Super SU
There is no SU binary installed, and SuperSU cannot install it.
ResurrectionRemix version: RR-N-v5.8.0-20170104-official

Use the built in superuser

Happened to me too. Just reboot your device. If doesn't work, install superuser via Zip and wipe. Hope it fixes

Yeah...I flashed zip again, and it won't occur.

What will we get when we get android N kernel sources? Will that mean that our phone will be more stable with less bugs and better battery life?

We will have more stable builds because the devs will be able to use the coding for the OOS camera for example. Rather than having to code to try and fix it them selves. Or having to use a third party camera instead.

Lost Root after a flash

So I just realized that somewhere along the line I lost SU, can someone direct on how to regain it? I flashed Superuser through recovery but that didn't work. Ruuning CM 11 Nightly, but this happened before that though.

I tried and it didn't work for me.
This is awesome, been waiting for lollipop nethunter, Thank you!
download link not working
Tried to download rootfs for 5.0.2. It's not working
Try download on PC I think there's bug in a mobile version
I used nethunter cm11s for a while. Worked great but touch sensibility was definitely worse than plain cm11s or any other rom I've tried.
Is it still the same for nethunter cm12?
Its not that it is a huge problem but I find it annoying the need to swipe several times for something to work. Like unlocking the screen. Just to be clear, touch works much better with cm12 so this isn't the usual hardware issue with touch. I still have the casual ghost swipe but that's like once a day or something, doesn't bother the slightest.

cm12 nethunter encrypted phone
I am trying to update my encrypted OPO to CM12s. I have the latest TWRP, SuperSU and 05Q. I tried flashing CM12 YNG1TASOYL-signed-bacon.zip and fastbooting the CM11S 05Q files (.mbn, .img .bin) Both methods ended with a bootloop of the TWRP logo. Before I start again, I want to be sure that this method will work with an encrypted phone.
It does not work on 12.1
Finally Kali for lollipop.. But will try when it will be compatible to multirom..but thanks dev for this..!!

Flashed successful. Camera is forced closing...
Also get that the camera forced closing, any fix for this?
I tried on a CM 5.1 rom and it wouldn't boot, also getting the camera bug in CM12s. OP any recommendations as to what specific CM 12.1 Rom works or are you building them yourself? Curious if the camera works in CM12.1 vs CM12s
Stuck at boot
Everything went smoothly during the flash.
The last step mentions to reboot and wait, which I did.
Now my phone is at the boot screen of OnePlus One and nothing is happening.
How long should I wait? Thank you.
Thanks
Hello, thank you for your Kali Nethunter for OnePlus One Lollipop Roms. Installing!

These are the steps that worked for me, both cm-12.0-YNG1TAS0YL-bacon-signed and cm-12.0-YNG1TAS17L-bacon-signed work, but both give camera fcs.
1. flash cm12s rom, boot to desktop
2. reboot to recovery flash rootfs (takes about 15 mins)
3. flash nethunter kernel
4. wipe dalvik and cache
5. reboot
I used team win recovery.
I would say the boot process takes 3-5 minutes on first boot.
what does this do?

Unable to install GApps 6.0 on Moto G Titan

I want to install Marshmallow on my moto g. when i am going to install any ROM 6.0 it gets installed.
But next step when i flash gapps 6.0 then it says fail install.
what willl be solution for this?
I am using Philz recovery 6.0.2
tried Cynopop v4.5 Marshmallow Rom.
Gapps from OpenGapps type i tried - pico, mini ,nano
nothing worked.
I don't know what your problem is but here's a solution .
Install TWRP 2.8.6.0.
Clean Flash ROM and then flash Gapps.
Mostly you won't get any error.
Hope this helped.

Sagar I tried on TWRP 2.8.6.01 also.
TWRP didn't work on my mobile.
it restarts my mobile after installing single zip file. I don't know why. so i moved to Philz recovery.
any suggestion?
Are you rooted? Then you can flash TWRP through flashify app and see if it solves your issue.
If not then you'll have to restore to stock and follow the procedures to root and flash again.
FYI I did face this problem once but solved it by reverting to stock (I didn't intend to do this as a solution but it worked anyway).

Sagar buddy Yes! I rooted!
I am using AICP 10.0 since 6-7 months. there is no problem of root.
Yeah Like I said I fixed it by fluke like I told you (you can try it if you want) but If you want a proper answer. Id suggest you wait for someone to know what's actually wrong. Also post your problem on The TWRP or Philz Thread . Stop Creating New threads for problems.
Keep XDA clean

New Paranoid Android just getting stuck in bootloop

I have rooted, TWRPd, and flashed the latest Shamu AOSPA, along with franco.kernel, and gapps. Every time I do it it just goes into bootloop. If I reflash everything it basically says no root, and offers me SuperSU flash. When I flash, it goes to bootloop, when I don't flash, it works, but no SuperSU.
Help?!
derp.. sorry
That helps, thanks...

well, you could ask for help in the PA thread, or could pay a little more attention to their instructions. oh, and the supersu provided by twrp is extremely old, dont use it, ever.
Looks like using it with OpenGapps causes bootloops. Try BANKS Gapps instead.
Wait a few minutes and hold the power button to force a reboot, that helped me but only used PA for a couple hours and back to PN!

I'm on CM13/RR from 7-8 months now. Still facing bugs like Hotspot bug which causes apps like share-it to not work properly.
So I need a bug free and fast ROM. I'm thinking about getting back to stock ROM or flashing CM11 snapshot. What do you recommend guys?
1. CM11 Snapshot
2. Stock MM (How to?)
3. Anything else ?
Flash flume 5.1.1R beta

STOCK MM for me HAHAHA!
It's stable AF, been using STOCK MM from a month now.
If you want customizations, just flash xposed and use modules like gravity box / AndroidN-ify.
Use a custom kernel like Zeus / TZ for better battery.
That's it.
On a note flashing Stock MM Isn't difficult, just get the zip [Look below for links, choose according to your device Ie; sprout4 / sprout8] and reboot recovery [Twrp by 1cefire Recommended] performa a full wipe [ ie; advanced wipe > wipe system/ cache /dalvik] wipe everything except SD CARD .
Once the wiping process done, go back to the TWRP menu and install STOCK Rom zip, give it some time it'll take few minutes for installation, next reboot.
If you wanna retain twrp, then make sure to uncheck 'Mount system readonly' from twrp mount settings menu.
Or just flash a custom kernel followed by super su zip, then you're good to go!

Right go for stock. I am also using it from a month now. You know bug free life. Procedure already mentioned by sachin n sir. Just download zip and flash with custom recovery. Or use sp flash tools. I however preferred twrp for flashing. And I'm waiting for miracle from Google to give us official n update notification.
P.S. Soon.
Thanks bro. I did exactly same thing. You are awesome. Do you think our device will get any further updates ?
