Hello all,
Can someone please tell me which is the better custom Rom as far as features are concerned? I have sent my handset for replacement and waiting for a new one.. meanwhile I am collecting the material. I have downloaded the KA 03 rom but can someone please tell me how are the other roms? (RomAur v1.4.1 & TuRdZzROM v1.2.0) . I know I myself should test but I want just an experience from u guys..
This is a difficult question because there's no clear answer. It is up to you to decide which you think is best. For example I was a big cyanogenmod fanboy on my Xperia S but I also loved KA ROMs because they were so light and smooth. Someone else however may hate both cyanogenmod and KA, see what I mean? It's totally up to you to decide which is your favourite.
My advice is to try them all and see which you like best. After that perhaps you could share your views? I'd like to hear what you have to say
Hi everyone
have a look at this:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/software-hacking/tweak-l-speed-v1-0-02-02-2015-t3020138
I've installed it already and it really is a bump...
Give me your opinions about it...
i'll give it a try!

FIRMWARE WHICH YOU? I have b133 my phone and b136 phone of my wyfe
I'm using b136a firmware... my battery lasts much longer since i installed this mod.
Does anybody know if Xtweaks wich is similar to this Lspeed is still worth a try?
It used to be the best but as the last update is from august 2014 i dont know if it still works with newer versions of droid.
Would apreciate any opinion about
how is it?
It gives you lots of options to improve performance, user experience and fix some bugs... in a very simple way, all together in a single app... give it a go...
I have tested it but not great deals at all.
Battery drains more or less the same.
Greetings
First , I appreciate the hard work and time, efforts you developers put in to post a ROM here and that too for a discontinued device and expect nothing but little bit of recognition only....well and some donation also...which is voluntary !
But ....is it really that hard to incorporate a working camera app in your ROMs ? C'mon ...you people add all the enhancements in it like sound mod, layers etc but no working camera ? Why ? I mean is it illegal and would be considered piracy if you add a working camera app ...from playstore .... ? And if not can't you just suggest which camera app suits best for the ROM ? And why can't ...won't you just remove the non working camera app from the ROM before releasing it ?
Presently it's the only thing that keeps me from trying out these new ROMs.
Happy to stay with the Viper9.0 ...Lollipop.
Thank you...and please do answer...without getting offended ...it's a genuine curiosity ....query.
Hi !
My bootloader unlock period will finally come to an end tonight and i'm planning to customize this device a lil' bit.
From what I saw, GSI Roms are still buggy, but FlokoRom seems promising. I also saw someone point out that AOSiP works even better. Has someone tested these and can give me feedback ? Do all camera features and fingerprint work ?
If the currently most stable answer is to stay on MIUI, I basically just want a little more customization, get rid of this notification notch "problem" and the audio quality on video recording issue. Would you recommend the Xiaomi.eu Rom ? The XASP "patch" ? Some kernel ?
Also, I'm still not really sure which TWRP is the best one for this device.
I'm making this thread because I think many people are still a little bit unsure about what to chose, and I would find it really helpful to sum it up in one place.
Many thanks
Hi everyone. A lot of great custom ROMs have been developed for juice devices from the past few months (cheers to all the devs). However, the DT2W feature is still missing from the party, which I have always used way back on stock MIUI. Moreover, other devices seem to not have a problem with DT2W even when installing custom ROMs.
Can anyone explain what's the matter with this? Why is it difficult to implement? Are we still gonna have DT2W feature in the future updates?
I don't have a deep understanding of ROM development, so please enlighten me with the lore. Thanks!

Things don't happen in a day or with snap of fingers, it takes time. And Gagan, Joboy, Anurag have been working on OSS Vendor which is about to get finished. Kindly wait or switch back to Meme UI also, don't compare development of different devices, every device is not the same and I mean what do you think, how old our custom development community is.
Kindly cooperate if you cannot contribute.

Lmao read logs for your technical explanation... And this needs to get fixed on the kernel side, Javashin has started working on it already.
any progress?
