I have Xperia Z C6603
I had unlock the bootloader n flash TWRP recovery using fastboot and installed custom ROM.
Before wiping I had taken backup of stock ROM using twrp ... But now I am not able to restore it. After restoring complete, phone reboots to twrp recovery everytime...
Please help me here..

I used twrp to make a backup then i flashed a custom ROM then decided I didn't like it so I rebooted into recovery, wiped all data and tried to restore my twrp backup but it says failed I then decided to reboot and try again but now when I select recovery from the boot loader the screen goes black \turns off
(Can't reboot to twrp)
you can try and flash recovery again in bootloader mode, if that fails then i would suggest restoring to stock with the tools provided in the developers section.

You have flashed a recovery image to your boot partition, so it always boots to recovery. You need to flash a boot image to the boot partition.
But why do you want recovery if you won't flash anything to your phone?
By flashing recovery, you are doing exactly that anyway.
You have an unlocked bootloader, so you may as well flash an advanced stock kernel. It is stock kernel with twrp built into the boot.img. Check android development section.
thank you
since i know that i can't boot recovery without flashing, i have no other option as to flash.
can't i flash it to FOTA partition?
i have 10.7.A.0.222 firmware and need root access but like to do it manually
You can't boot directly to FOTA on XZ. Need modified boot.img or flash twrp to boot (like you did before). Then while in TWRP, flash Supersu.zip to get root. Afterwards flash kernel only in flashtool to get stock boot back

Is your bootloader unlocked?
please i have xperia z model c6602
i flashed twrp recovey twrp-3.0.2-0-yuga.img from fastboot then my phone keep booting at twrp recovery i tried restart many times but no chance
rest factory from twrp and not working also
any help please ?
can anyone answer, same case with me?
Hey guys, did you fix this? And if yes, how?
You can't flash recovery on stock ROM that way because after that the ROM will not boot. I think now you have to either flash stock ROM again via Flashtool or flash any custom one using recovery you have installed.
My OnePlus 3T is currently rooted unlocked bootloader nd on TWRP recovery
So now I want to move my phone to stock condition pls help
Simplest way would be to just run the Qualcomm restore tool/unbrick tool. This will restore everything back to unrooted and locked bootloader as you've requested.

You could do a factory reset in TWRP and flash the latest OnePlus stock image from https://downloads.oneplus.com
Then reboot, which will restore the stock recovery and re-encrypt your phone (if you've decrypted it). Check that this is so in Settings>Security. Also check that recovery is now stock.
Then you can relock the bootloader from fastboot.

Link to downloading recovery is there along with link to download the ROM, just check the website.
If you flash stock ROM through TWRP, your phone will be automatically encrypted and stock recovery will be installed after reboot from TWRP.

If you flash the full stock image in TWRP and nothing else, then when you reboot the stock recovery will replace TWRP. This is the way I would do it.
You can verify this by booting back into recovery after the phone has booted up on OOS. Note that if your phone was decrypted, then the first boot up will take a while to re-encrypt the phone.
I would not relock the bootloader until you've verified that the phone is encrypted and the stock recovery is installed.
