Lollipop update?

I just got an update pushed to my phone. First is it lollipop? Second, should I accept it? Like will it destroy having root or anything again?
I figured I'd post in general just so there could be a spot for discussion about it.

What version of Android are youon? 4.4.2 or 4.4.4? If the latter then it possibly could be Lollipop. What's the size of the update? A lot more info is needed.

It isn't Lollipop. Just installed the update. To be honest the only change I've noticed is that I now have the Uber app. That might have been there before and I never noticed though.

I was unable to update my note 3 but the size was 469 mb or something close to that.

XT1052 Rooted; Received new Security OTA Update. Please Help.

Hello. I am in India and I have just received this update for my XT1052. I am currently on Android 5.1 and am rooted with TWRP installed. I know I can't take this OTA while i'm rooted, so how do I get this update on my phone? Is there a flashable zip for this particular update that can be flashed in TWRP itself (this update seems like a security patch dated 01 April 2016) ? Please help. Thanks in advance.

You need back to stock to get the update.

flash stock recovery, install the update.. restart, then again install your fav custom recovery and root again

This sure looks like a Marshmallow update to me. Just got the notification from att tonight. Here goes nothing........

What region of the country are you in? Most people seem to have gotten MM early last week.

New Feature
With the update to 6.0.1 today, I now have AT&T Video Calling, to other AT&T Customer's with Capable Phone...Tried to an iPhone, no luck. Waiting to see what it's like with an AT&T friend.

Go Pittsburgh:good: I would second this but due to sideloading the earlier version I do not get the OTA unless I Odin back to 5.1.1

I was on the March Marshmallow. I had been on the unofficial Nougat for months but ODIN back to marshmallow a few days ago.

I have 3 friends as well as myself with mix 3 5gs and have all experienced the issue where the phone shows no service until you reboot the phone wifi and mobile network disconnect

Wow that's a pretty serious problem. I haven't heard of it before so it's a new one to me.
Have you tried any other roms to see if it's the same?
