Yh I know but is the update file not online somewhere? As it would be easier than waiting on someone
or if anyones running emui5, can install backup-restore app from play store and backup all the apps(all system apps means, which are usable.. example: huawei home, calculator, dialer , contacts , etc) , and if rooted, pull framework folder(or can also do it by adb)... any way will work

problem is , the file is only for beta testers .. and i do not own an honor 5c..

1.Install N twrp from BadWolf
2. Flash the zip from this post
3. Put the MM UPDATE.APP in the DLOAD folder on SD CARD
4. Install it using the 3 button method
5. Factory reset
6. DONE!!

download MM for VNS-L21 (it doesn;t matter what CXX needs)
and the oem i will send to you will be REQUIRED for downgrading.

I had a solution for him . But this will be experimental. Cause no one tried this before . If this works, it will be a life saviour for all emui 5 users . If this dint worked, nothing happens u can easily rollback to previous version if had roll back package

Well , he should first extract the update.app from update.zip and then he is supposed to flash it.
And then the second zip , he need to remove a line from the second regional zip updater script and delete the update app from it later flash it .
Again extract the removed update.app and flash all files from the update.app using twrp by making a script.
Same process for the zip and it is done .

Please follow THIS guide. It will format your SD card so that you have 1 partition for adoptable storage, and another for your external media files.

you will have two files in it one update.app and other one is meta-inf folder I tried to download full zip but it's taking ages to download.
That meta-inf folder is what I am asking.

Oh, sorry but I don't seem to have any stock rom downloaded from there on my pc and would take very long to download one. Btw why do need it?

Yeah, I noticed that too.
My net is sometimes fast, but I couldn't find FULL package of honor 4x che2 rom(that's still alive) from here http://hwmt.ru/oth/HWFF/info/view.php?find_model=che2 and I think carbontesla doesn't have meta-inf folder included.

yes carbontesla files doesnt have meta-inf folder
in this site http://hwmt.ru/oth/HWFF/info/view.php?find_model=che2 latest 3 firmwares are still alive for 4X but with them i cant solve the problem of OP.

really i dont know if it have meta cause i am not uploded it and my version is b505 but i wasnt downloaded from this ..... case it was founded on internet on about 2 years ago but now it is removed so this is only link that u can found so i dont know but if now ..... he can zip the update.app with this link it will work too ....

after doownload open zip with pc and screenshot what folders is inside it and put it them here then i will tell u ..... i mean put the screenshot here
