Yes I know how to extract. The problem is my net connection which is slow, it will takes some times to download the whole package. If only the recovery image, the file size is small.

You will have to download the firmware you are using now and will have to use Huawei update extractor to extract recovery.img
Both these you can just google and find easily imo.
Or you can use the tool mentioned here to find a firmware for your phone, whichever works best

What is the firmware you are running now? Is it MM or LP?
You need to flash the recovery of the firmware you are using.
I guess flashing MM recovery won't hurt as all recoveries are same but I am still learning and this is just a guess so flash the recovery of the firmware you are using now.

That's why I said, it's just a guess, I have to make sure of it first.
I am not sure how I got this idea but it is in my mind, just need to try it out now.

Yes, it can work, but it's better to flash the recovery that matches the ROM, to avoid any hassle

In the case, you don't get it, download mm firmware and use Huawei update extractor to extract recovery.img yourself.

He Can't Flash downgraded Recovery he should match Recovery With His Stock Version !. otherwise might brick device !.

Yh I know but is the update file not online somewhere? As it would be easier than waiting on someone

or if anyones running emui5, can install backup-restore app from play store and backup all the apps(all system apps means, which are usable.. example: huawei home, calculator, dialer , contacts , etc) , and if rooted, pull framework folder(or can also do it by adb)... any way will work

problem is , the file is only for beta testers .. and i do not own an honor 5c..

Use firmware finder proxy method

Ff proxy only works on emui 4

I had a solution for him . But this will be experimental. Cause no one tried this before . If this works, it will be a life saviour for all emui 5 users . If this dint worked, nothing happens u can easily rollback to previous version if had roll back package

Well , he should first extract the update.app from update.zip and then he is supposed to flash it.
And then the second zip , he need to remove a line from the second regional zip updater script and delete the update app from it later flash it .
Again extract the removed update.app and flash all files from the update.app using twrp by making a script.
Same process for the zip and it is done .

I've had B130, this ROM is unable to give me the 5.0, but i installed B132, and the system asked me for an update to N, now im trying to root via SuperSU 2.82 SR1, thanks for advice.

the most impotant thing in honor 4x

pls can any one tell me or give me a link i am honor 4x che2-l11 marshmello and rooted and the size is so low so i get 64 gb memory card and i know how to make about a 23 gb of as an internal and the rest will be sd card as normal pls assist me

Please follow THIS guide. It will format your SD card so that you have 1 partition for adoptable storage, and another for your external media files.

Does flashing stock ROM full zips through twrp works in 4x?
It works both in 4c and p8lite.

Op mentioned that he got error while flash stock ROM (on the other thread) while I suggested him this method.
Might be issue with twrp. What is the latest twrp version for 4x?

Also I'm not sure have I ever tried to install honor 4x stock rom on honor 4x device with this method. I've only installed stock roms of other devices to honor 4x.

When you download a full zip from this site http://hwmt.ru/oth/HWFF/info/view.php?find_model=
you will have two files in it one update.app and other one is meta-inf folder I tried to download full zip but it's taking ages to download.
That meta-inf folder is what I am asking.

Oh, sorry but I don't seem to have any stock rom downloaded from there on my pc and would take very long to download one. Btw why do need it?

I can download OTA package and upload it's meta-inf folder.

Ya thanks for that file but I already have that file .
But it's meta-inf folder is different from full package zip.

Yeah, I noticed that too.
My net is sometimes fast, but I couldn't find FULL package of honor 4x che2 rom(that's still alive) from here http://hwmt.ru/oth/HWFF/info/view.php?find_model=che2 and I think carbontesla doesn't have meta-inf folder included.

yes carbontesla files doesnt have meta-inf folder
in this site http://hwmt.ru/oth/HWFF/info/view.php?find_model=che2 latest 3 firmwares are still alive for 4X but with them i cant solve the problem of OP.
