nexus 6 stock 7.1.1 rooted with opengapps aroma
recently i notice that my nexus 6 can not receive phone call or text unless i make a call (any call) first.
i mean if i do not call others first then i will never receive calls. and i need to do that about once a day or more.
how to fix that??

Hey guys, I installed cm7.2.0 RC1 into friend of mine phone few days back. Today she called me and said she can't get any incoming calls as they go straight to voicemail. So I tried to call her to find it ring once then goes to voicemail. She said she can see the missed call in call log..
Outgoing calls, texting & data works fine. Is there any setting she might have change to cause this so I can tell her to check it out? I can not have a look at the phone for a week as I'm away anyone else experienced this?

Hello guys its been a while since I've been on probably since the t mobile wing haha but i need some help. i have a nexus 6 on t mobile and i am having issues. Im on 5.1.1 and build lyz28e. I am not receiving calls and my texts are delayed.i do not get a missed call notification. I do not know any one calls until they tell me they tried to call earlier or yesterday. I got a new sim card and got a replacement phone and tmobile's customer services hasn't really helped me. I thought with wifi calling it would help but I don't think it has. Its not happening all the time but enough where its affecting my everyday life by missing calls from clients .

This appears to be a chronic issue on Tmobile. There are a number of threads on this. Here's one of the most "popular" > http://forum.xda-developers.com/nexus-6/help/signal-signal-t2959050
are you using a correct apn? if anything is qrong in your apn, you wont receive calls or texts, so id check to make sure its right.
I can't get any root call blocking apps to work on Marshmallow ROMs. Root call blocker, which I've used for several years and on several different phones was my call blocker app of choice, but it stopped working once I upgraded to Marshmallow (had that problem with both the Nexus 5 and the Nexus 6 I'm currently using). I have noticed that it works flawlessly with Lollipop ROMs, but not Marshmallow. And the RCB developer is no help. Has anyone gotten RCB or any other call blocking app to work on Marshmallow? And if so, how? Also, if there are other call blocking apps out there that will work on Marshmallow, I'd like to know about them. And I want a real call blocker, not one that sends the caller to voicemail (to me, that's not call blocking).
Have you checked out the Marshmallow inbuilt call blocker? Phone/history list/long press on the "bad" caller/"Block number".
I haven't tried it myself yet (no scammers have called me recently) and you have to receive at least the first unwanted call, but after that they should be gone.

Hi folks,
I rooted my 3T a few weeks ago so I could have xposed framework and a few modules. I then decided to unroot and revert to stock so I could use Android Pay and Banking app.
All seemed to go well but since I rebooted after install I cannot receive incoming calls. I can call out and send SMS - I can receive SMS but the phone doesn't ring when I call it from my wife's phone - it just goes straight to voicemail (I can hear my own pre-recorded voicemail message)
Any help would be much appreciated. I don't mind wiping the device again if I have to as I have all my stuff backed up to Google Drive.

The problem is it would take 5-7 seconds before the recipient can hear my voice if I call using those apps, I can hear them just fine however. If I direct call (phone number) then everything is working just fine.
What gives?
I might go through the trouble of rooting my phone, installing TWRP and flash a custom ROM just to fix this issue lol... but unsure
