I got this error message saying the camera is busy, I tried restarting device, clearing cache in recovery, etc but it still says the same, no application can access the camera or the flash/led.
A quick search shows that it is a known problem without really a 100% fix as it may be HW related?
I'm on stock MM, unrooted, any ideas?
If its a hw error maybe a hard reset (disconnect battery) is needed? My camera worked again after doing the normal reset.

hey all,
ive just performed a factory reset through "recovery mode" and now i cant seem to do anything with my phone after it boots up as all i get is contact error messages saying "Sorry! the process ......... has stopped unexpectedly. please try again"
any solutions would me muchly appreciated =)
Have you made any changes to the phone? I guess the framework is having some problem. A reflash would be good.
no i havent made any changes, i am running stock 2.1 eclair... i wanted to do a factory reset through "recovery mode (Vol up + home + power)" so i could install froyo on a fresh platform...
how would i flash it if kies wont pick up my phone anymore due to the "force close" errors? even if i select force close, another one will pop up straight after...
I tried to upgrade my Note from stock GB to ICS using Kies. When the upgrade finished it rebooted and gave a message 'Unfortunately TWLauncher has stopped' and 'Process com.android.phone has stopped'.
No connection to O2 network is available and Kies sometimes does not recognize the device. Using PC Odin 'unable to open a connection' error is shown when trying to load a rom.
The phone internal memory is visible on Windows Explorer
The phone was never rooted or wiped.
Any advice on what to do next welcomed.
Reboot your phone, if thta doesn`t help go to settings, backup and restore and do a data factory reset and you should be fine. Backup you files prior to the procedure!
I tried reboot with same result. When I tried to open setting I just get the 'TWLauncher has stopped' message and it goes back to the home screen. The area around the camera is hotter than normal.

Turn off the phone. Pull the battery for and wait 30 seconds. Push Volume up, power and menu at the same time and go in recovery, wipe data and cache and reboot.
Thanks, that seems to have done the trick. It is now restoring apps from Google.
I've just encountered this error message when trying to open the camera. I tried clearing app data and cache for everything camera related then rebooting, I then did a factory reset and I still get the same problem. Anybody have this before or know of a solution? I'm on 14.1.G.1.518 rooted, locked bootloader and I haven't done any updates since I bought it 6 weeks ago. Camera worked fine yesterday, no changes have been made since then apart from a reboot. Hope someone can help, thanks!

u can test these;
1. setting > apps > all > camera > clear cache + clear data + force stop (clear data will remove all ur modification on setting of app)
2. do 1. + restart
3. also check another camera app
4. force restart ( i think it was pwr btn + vol. down for 10 seconds & 3 vibrates- anyway it s better to check support section of sonymobile website)
5. finally u can just repair ur phone by PCC (it will install latest firmware and so u will lose ur root access and should try again for rooting)
:good:
Hello!
At first I have to say that i use Moto G with stock settings. I mean I didn't flash it, root etc.
Android is loading without problems, but then it starts to crash every process, something like:
"unfortunately the process com.android.phone has stopped"
I wanted to reset it to factory settings, but i can't even click it because of these crashes. I also found that I can hard reset it by getting into recovery mode but I can't even get into there. After pressing vol up button over the Recovery it shows motorola logo for a second then display error "Boot up failed".
Is there any solution for that? Or at least another way to do a factory reset?
Thank you for your time
I don't remember if these problems started with the new update I got but my Wi-Fi has been disconnecting a lot and, sometimes, it gets an exclamation mark. Is not my modem, I've done soft reset, removed battery and much more but there was one "fix" that revealed another problem abd, maybe, that's what's causing my Wi-Fi troubles.
So I go to the recovery screen to wipe the cache and a blue screen jumps reading "Installing System Update..." but after a while it changes to "No command". It's here where I press the combination for recovery again and this is how the recovery looked like

I wiped the cache, rebooted my phone and it works fine except for the Wi-Fi.
