Hey Guys. I've a very big problem. i flashed again two weeks to my original s5 mini stockfirmware 5.1.1 the stock firmware (full package) of marshmallow. All works fine, i dont wiped data because all was working. last night the phone doesnt wont anymore to register into the provider network. ive rebooted the phone but it doesnt help.
steps i've tried:
- reflash marshmallow stock
- reflash modem with different version: https://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s5-mini/general/baseband-sm-g800f-t3354355
- flashed cm13
- flashed lollipop back (but this have failed on flash via odin, so i flashed again the marshmallow).
- cleaned the sim slot (the sim card works fine on another phone, another sim doesnt works with the s5mini)
- checked the sim slot pins (adjusted them for perfect contact)
i dont think its a softwareproblem of marshmallow because it had run for two weeks very fine.
any ideas?

Have you tried setting it in 2G mode only, this is a very common problem with the S5 mini. It stop working in 3G and 4G , but everything ok in 2G ( but at the 2G speed )

Hi, since a few days i´ve a problem with my german vodafone card and my s3 lte.
phone calls and sms are not working anymore but mobile data is working fine :-/
i´ve tried a t-mobile card in my s3 and its working fine... btw.. the vodafone card is working fine also.. but in another s3 ??!!
i´ve wiped everything but its still not working!!

I would give a call to my mobile provider to know if they can explain.. If calls and sms work fine with another device, and if your device works with another sim card, it may be explained by the fact that your imei is blacklisted (blocked) by the operator of your non working sim card. Give same a call and you will know!

its just shwoing E and not 3g or H or 4g etc ..
i can make phone calls txt etc perfectly just not getting 3g 4g service.
its on 4.1.2 rooted via cf root..
its showing imei number basebacd etc..
dont know what more i have to say about fault..?

Did you try Settings -> More Settings -> Mobile networks -> Network mode, set it 4G only or auto connect.
Another workaround maybe there's problem with your apn's? For example I had it set to MMS then ahd EDGE available only.
Second warkaround is secret menu, type it in dialer *#0011#.

My GT-i9305 LTE doesn't detect GSM network automatically I have only 2g service in my country, my phone does not connect to GSM automatically, i have to set it on GSM only every time i restart my phone it does not stick on GSM only, whenever i restart my phone it will switch to LTE/GSM/WCDMA/ auto mode but doesnt connect to GSM i have tried many ways wouldn't fix it.
It will be great if any one can help me i have tried to install another modem but couldn,t find any, I rooted it tried to install some customs modems but no success i had to flash it with old firmware

I have exactly same problem with silver.. Have you fixed it? I have tried to fix problem some, but nothing looks like gonna fix it...
I have tried everything that was written on the forum..
When I check *#0011# it shows that only GSM900 is available...

Have you tried changing it to WCDMA. I was having that problem with the 3g service not going above a few kbs, I changed it from gsm to WCDMA nd its back to full speed 3mbs.

Yep, I did. Both on the phone menu and service menu. Doesn't take any 3g or 4g signal if I choose em only.

Done, still same.. I have both tried with Cyanogen, Liquidsmooth, Stock rom, Ripper rom...
Stock rom with correct modem and APN not working then take it to a service centre .

Where did you buy it?. Did you see if the modem frequency of the carrier it's available in your phone?, I got the same problem and it's possible that my phone doesn't have the hardware ready for the carrier in my country. I still looking for an answer.

This is I9305 specifications are not new .
Check your network before purchase as hardware is not flash able .

This NVM problem new HW and old nvm I got imei repair or unlock.
That's how I went, 20 managed to fix it, but this is not the last one because it is very new.
2-3 week old phone.

Can somebody help me with this 4g problem?
This is what i did:
1.flashed custom ROM (worked like a charm,i did nandroid backup)
2.flashed other custom ROM (didnt like it so I restored the first one from nandroid)
3.everything went well except no imei and no baseband
4.reverted back to stock rom with odin
5.and here is the problem,no 4g signal at all. 3g/2g works fine.
If I post my build.prop can somebody tell me whats wrong?
I have tried to put my sim card in other phone and it works but not in my phone.
Did you enable 4G in Settings?

Is there a test that I can use to test is it a software or hardware issue?
Maybe an issue of Stock rom you flashed using odin.. Which one exactly have yoi flashed? What modem you have now? And finally, is your S3 i9305 or some i9305T variant?

Thanks for your replies,I flashed stock german 4.4.4 from sammobile.It worked very good about 2 months.
I think that modem is xxufoa1 and version of phone is i9305 lte international.
If somebody could help me with this issue,I would appreciate that.But no hurries,I got new playmate S6 edge...
try doing a complete wipe of data and cache, then flash stock rom again to see if problem persists

Hey, try flashing the parambin.zip file (look for it on google related to s3 lte, you'll find it easily). Another thing to try is just wait with the phone turned on with a valid SIM. I found out that sometimes it delayed a lot to get signal, specially when changing SIM carriers on another country. After a while waiting it finally succeeded (probably unrelated but I also saw on the catlog entries about upgrading the sahara file of the qualcomm chip -the modem-).
Was hotspotting to my daughters tablet this morning while streaming spotify just like any other morning and all of a sudden my data dropped out in a low signal area and the phone rebooted for some reason. when it came back up I have signal bars but have emergency calls only status.
I switched to gsm only and can get edge on and off but it isn't constant. I tried to restore back to a few day old backup with no sucess. tried reflashing stock firmware with odin to no success. Also tried flashing modem with odin with no success.
the sim isnt the problem as it works in other phones, it looks as if this phone gave up on me. has any one else run into this?
edit: was running latest 5.1.1 TW, may try a cm13 rom just cause at a later point.

Hello, everyone!, I have a s6 este Verizon since Android 5.0 and 6.0 and live in Chile, when upgrade to nougat 7.0, lost my 4g signal network (aws), for why reasson think lost the 4g connection? ( if have the same configuration and carrier?) thank you all! (I try install twice time nougat, and put in factory reset, airplane more everytime, and try with the same sim card in other phone and work, but 4g signal don`t work)
Did you fix this? I'm having the same problem, before the update my connection worked perfect, now I only have H+, 3G and E.
