I wish it would have something to do with even more accent colors :fingers-crossed:
How to enable?
I hope its not another bloatware like their own apps. I personally don't like how they are adding more and more of their own apps and replacing google ones.

you'll have to enable the developer options
Swipe down the Quick Settings panel and you'll see the settings gear icon at the top of the display. Press and hold this.
and now in settings at the bottom you see laboratory
I have developer options enabled and when i hold the settings gear icon in the quick settings panel nothing happens

This is a guide to enable System UI tuner on Marshmallow.
Since we cannot root our Android One currently, it is a good way to tweak our devices right now.
It includes
•Re-arrange the Quick Settings toggles.
•Show hide items from the status bar (such as casting icon, do not disturb icon, etc.)
•Show the embedded battery percentage in the Battery indicator.
•Toggle Demo Mode
To enable this, do the following:
•Pull down the notification drawer to display the Settings gear icon in the top right corner.
•Long press this icon. It may not be noticeable, but it will begin to spin under your finger. It may take a couple of tries (did for me on two different devices).
•When it's activated, you will see a popup that says "Congrats! System UI Tuner has been added to Settings" (See screenshot).
•Go to your Settings and you will see an option for "System UI Tuner" under "About Phone".
That's it! Enjoy

Does it work for HTC m8? Can't seem to be getting anywhere??

I think that only works on AOSP/Close to stock ROMs.

Wait for bootloader unlock and custom ROM.
Only way to do it right now is to download an app that displays it in the left corner.
just to add to that , the 3G or 4G symbol is always displaying EVEN with the data turned OFF...
in the case that the phone is indeed using Mobile Data there are small arrow indicators that show Mobile usage.
app for everything that you need. This is something which bothers me coming from MIUI and its available customisation options. Ability to record calls from the dialler all the way to something trivial like Battery% in status bar.

Battery Percentage can be set to be displayed either while on charge or always.
That can be set within the system ui tuner, and that can be activated by holding down the gear symbol (settings) on the pull down menu.
Then in the settings menu you should see the system ui options.

Hello,
I suddenly don't have a notification or icon anymore when I have DND activited, which is not so good. I already tried rebooting the device twice with no success.
I use the default theme and didn't making any mentionable changes.
Please tell me I can get this fixed without wiping my device or resetting my settings.
Try going into the phone settings and reset the app notifications and see if that does the trick [emoji6]
Sent from my SM-T820 using Tapatalk
I didn't find an option to "reset" my notifications
Go to setting->apps then click on hamburger and select show all apps. Then go to systemui->storage and clear cache. Then reboot phone.
Also in notification setting you can click show system apps as well. Then you will see the DND toggle.
I did that, still not working. Thanks for trying tho.
Anyone else an idea?

I'm talking through main settings. Go to apps. Then from the 3 dot menu show system apps. You have to have system ui. It's a vital peice of the OS. If you can't see the app then I have no idea what could be blocking you from seeing it. At that point I would reset it.

Do the same steps through notification settings from the drop down shade. Click advanced and then show system apps.
Yea I edited my post because I found system UI after changing the language to english. I guess I couldn't figure out the german name or I somehow didn't see it. However, I cleared the cache and rebooted with no success.

I know there is already a thread for this ROM however it doesn’t have a particularly useful OP or proper guide etc. Hopefully this will give the ROM a proper home on these forums.
This guide is taken from info taken found the XDA forums. Thank you to those users!

NOTES
This thread unfortunately can’t be in the Rom Development section as I’m not the Dev. I will however try and keep it updated as I have a Baidu account which is where the Dev posts releases. He creates the ROM for the Asian market so I don’t think we will ever see him post here.

Which option is it? I can't find it
The line for it is at the settings of lockscreen and then 'when notifications are shown when screen is off' (roughly translated from dutch haha)
You get 3 options, you need the middle one i think.
I've got an opposite situation where on EU .28 rom my fingerprint doesn't show when I move my phone, even after ensuring fingerprint animation is on!
Hmm
I dont understand where we can find this option

Got it!
So for me, its weird.
If "when notifications come and the screen is off" is set to "show animation", I don't get the fp animation when my phone moves.
If it's set to "don't wake screen", the fp animation lights up when phone moves.
This is without "lift to wake" enabled too!
Unsure if this is a bug or by design, but this has helped me get my fp animation back at least lol. So OP, if you're wondering how to turn it off, perhaps ironically set it to "show animation" it you're on latest EU rom...
