Installation:
Ensure you have unlocked bootloader (there are many guides on how to check this) if you need a code go here, Emui Download Page click unlock bootloader and login with either facebook or phone account to obtain your code.
Install working TWRP recovery from: XDA DevDB
Download ROM from above link.
Download Open Gapps from http://opengapps.org/, select arm, 7.1 and then your preferred package.
Boot into TWRP, perform backup (always backup!!!), wipe data/factory reset, flash ROM zip and reboot.
First boot may take quite a while.
Update: All new builds include the LineageOS OTA feature by default.

Ok. I've just installed the rom and tested some software and here's the results:
-Camera & Flashlight doesn't work
-Sound recorder is very quiet
-Audiofx doesn't work and it's laggy
That's all for now. ROM is very clean and fast.

Thanks for your feedback. Of cause we have some Bugs again. Camera & Flashlight is a main issue. Sound Recorder and AudioFX will be easy to fix.

We used a prebuilt boot.img for our device before. But it does not fit any more, So we created a new driver source for our camera.
It is not working any more for our device.

Well, real sad. It's the reason why i'm not leaving stock rom at the moment, just because the camera isn't working. But it will be fixed in the future? Or is it something that can't be fixed anymore?

This will of cause be fixed. But not tomorrow or the next days. First of all we need to rewrite almost the whole camera source with a lot of debuging.

@Runner85sx I've just found problem: when I try to enable Root Access from developer options there's only ADB. It's probadly something with ROM. I'll put a screenshot.
PS. I'm from Poland so it's in Polish.

if you are on latest 5.1, just follow the instructions. and who cares about root, its m for mako ; what would you do with it? no custom kernels, no xposed, ...?

No xposed and kernels, but Layers bro. So, I have MinimalOS build 28.09.2015 so after wipe (data, cache, system) I can without any problems flash it?

So the camera isnt so impressive like with the original Software Form Sony and i cant say its good enough for you i think it could be much better so the deves Form cyanogenmod are working on it and hopefully the quality of the camera will increase in the near future sorry

I'll try, a lot of new things to know and remember last days ?. Is this also a problem systemless root if I would like to upgrade busybox? Tool which I used also don't work.
Flashing adaway give me error 255. Log attached.

Actually busybox is no problem it is up to date, but AdAway is essentiall.

after flash the rom zenfone 2 Z00A not only connects fiber and does not appear the asus logo, how to connect, do not enter or in recovery mode more

I had the same problem. Turned out autostart manager was blocking super user.

Please don't take this rudely but your post contains lots spelling and grammar errors which took me a while to understand. I understand that English may not be your first language so I decided to fix it up for you here. Other than that, great rom!

Planned:
1. Make it lightweight.
2. Separate root install. There are 2 types of root installation methods.
Install Procedure
1. MM Bootloader must be installed and unlocked.
2. Download ROM.
3. Boot into TWRP recovery and install zip.
4. After the install has finished, don't wipe cache as this will break root. If root access is lost download and flash the zip given below.
5. Reboot may show a verification error, ignore it and android will boot up normally. Wait till setup screen appears.
6. Enjoy

DOWNLOAD ROM

GAPPS: DOWNLOAD GAPPS -> arm64-8.1
First time installing crDroid to your MIX 2S, or coming from another ROM:
***To boot it up, use miui oreo as base, it doesnt boot on pie miui versions***
** Make sure you're running a proper working Recovery (TWRP)
1) Copy crDroid zip, gapps zip to your device
2) Boot into Recovery
3) Wipe cache, system, & data (or just cache & system for a dirty flash).
a)If somehow it isn't booting, you will have to format data (cause of encryption)
4) Flash ROM
8) Flash gapps
9) Boot up
For root, AFTER you boot into the ROM, you can go back to recovery and install Magisk (whatever is most recent).
Upgrading from earlier version of crDroid:
The only difference between clean flash as above and upgrading is you just wipe system & cache, leaving data. Everything else is the same. ***Remember to always clean flash before reporting problems. Clean flashing is always the best method of ROM install.
KNOWN ISSUES
-Volte (it might be my carrier too, test it by yourself)
-Gcam is force closing(MGC_5.3.015_MI8_V1a), i will try to fix it (it might take a while, cause im new in terms of compiling roms etc.)
No other bugs encountered yet, if you have any post in thread and i will try to help.
Don't expect any support if you:
- are not running the included kernel
- have installed any mods such as Xposed!
- have modified system files

If you use a lock with root access, and not an application by the administrator, then fingerprint unlocking works fine
This might be crdroid specific issue.

BUG
when I work with the launcher, I have problems, if I launch the app / widget and then press the "home" button and re-launch it - the animation is disrupting.
A bug appears when using any launcher.
Okay, but this is probably crdroid source bug, since the trees i use are stable (i think).

NEXT UPDATE will be when crDroid base updates, i might fix gcam till the update comes, also i heard dt2w works for some people and for some not, i will look into it and try to fix it as soon as possible, bc im a human too, and cant use my computer(im still in school) all the time.
PS. you can use this rom with every miui based oreo, cause I tried with pie based miui and it didnt boot.

I come from RevOS based con Miui12 and just make what the OP say. Formar data and flash the last firm.
The ROM works very well, thanks! The only problem i notice is that anx camera doesn't work
to me the Anx camera works without problems, and the battery is very good

I use ANX v185 and 48MPFix v180 (v170 should be fine too). No problems. Do you install ANX with Magisk? You shouldn't do that with TWRP. Do you clean data after installing and give manually all permissions?

you don't need flash any firmware. Just do clean flash ROM and Gapps. At the end do format data, for me that works.

this sequence works for me:
Format data
Reboot to recovery
Clean data (without system, firmware and vendor!)
Flash latest Magisk
Flash ROM
Flash Gapps
Format data
Reboot to system.
