G1 stuck on G1 screen

My G1 is stuck on g1 screen. I was flashing haykuro's spl but i forgot to update my radio. I dont have a warranty and i cant repair because i just got this back a week ago so help would be appreciated just tell me some code or gesture or something to fix this by monday or else my dad's gonna kill me. PLEASE!!!!!!!!!

Well actually I'm not sorry given the volume of threads and posts relating to SPLs and radios. If you had done a little research first you would have easily realized that you have to update the radio before the SPL....that's by we call it the danger SPL!
I thought flashing the SPL before the radio mistake was so 6 months ago....I guess I was wrong.

Yep he summed it up pretty much, but you can tell tmo that the 1.6 update broke you G1. Or it came broke when you turned it on.

If your dad's gonna kill you, I'd say either run away or find someone else's g1 to borrow for a while (don't mess with their phone tho! stick with ota firmware!) Also, you should tell any buddies you have with g1/mytouch to NOT ROOT THEIR PHONES if they don't know what they are doing, its better to have an ota phone that works than a bricked phone from a botched root access attempt

I got this phone from china thats where my dad ordered it. this costed him $495 and when I bricked it last time it costed him $40 and the afternoon i got my phone he told me that he doesnt want to see my phone bricked again. I REALLY NEED YOUR HELP, IM ONLY 11 BUT IM PRETTY GOOD AT MODDING. HHHHHHHHEEEEEELLLLLLLLPPPPPPPPP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am good at modding its just i forgot that my radio was old. Im getting the psp go for christmas but if my dad finds out about this then Im not gonna get ANYTHING. Now its either you find someway to fix my g1 or your precious friend haykuro is coming down with me. ( I was flashing his spl when it soft bricked my phone)

I dont have $200 and i dont have a credit card. Can you guys do me a big favor? Can you all chip in to buy me a new g1 and one of you can buy it for me? PPPPPPPPPLLLLLLLLLLEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAASSSSSSSSSSEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Obviously your not good at modding if this happened
You can't fix a brick... well you can but it requires modding hardware and after what you did to modding software I wouldn't try it.
And why is Haykuro coming down with you, he specifically says that he is NOT responsible for anything that happens, it is all the responsibility of you- and you alone. The best he can do is give you the things needed and instructions the rest is you, and you seemed to have messed that up

Wow really?? I mean no, seriously really?? Maybe we should all just start a huge donation fund specifically designated to the masses that bricked their phones because THEY CAN'T READ/FOLLOW DIRECTIONS
But on the plus side think of this as a learning experience, after you sit there Christmas morning and weep that you don't have any presents to open, I bet you'll never try to modify something again without doing your research and actually try being prepared before you mess with a device that costs a couple hundred dollars

Second, He got it from china cause they had an unlocked version and thats where he gets his phones from. his latest order a week ago came with an iphone that had a wallet attachment with a full QWERTY keyboard so dont you come up in here saying **** to me ***** cause ill **** you up.

[Q] Finally decided to root my note 3

Long time xda fan, first time poster. So, I have a bone stock AT&T Galaxy Note 3 N900AUCUEOC1 running lollipop 5.0. For about a year now I've been contemplating rooting it but I'm worried I'm gonna jack my phone up. Besides replacing my lcd screen I haven't done really too much with it. This will be my first attempt at rooting any phone and I wanted to ask a few questions to get some clarification and direction.
First, what currently is the easiest way to root a droid for someone that doesn't speak a lick of tech?
I've read 10 different ways but if anyone would know, its you guys. Does Kingo work with what I have?
What do I need to do prior to root? I.e, what do I need to download?
Also, could you recommend a decent ROM? Whats a good backup app that will actually work?
Lastly, I have a game ive been playing for a couple years and I dont sign in, it recognizes my phone or something, its on my sd card but will i lose it when I wipe my phone? Thanks in advance for your time.

I would never discourage some one from rooting their phone, however, you have chosen a hard place to start. You need to become familiar with odin, and /or safetrap. There are great instructions already posted, but unless you have a working knowledge of Odin, you are going to cause yourself a great deal of headache.
I suggest finding a friend who has done it, and have them walk you through it the first time.
By the way, I have been rooting Android phone since the original Motorola Droid. And I have this one rooted. But I not so easy for people new to the process.

Thanks for the concern. I used to be pretty smart. Ive watched and read a ton about odin and I guess people just make it look super easy. I've noticed theres a different variation for every model of droid so I gjust need to find the right one and figure out what to do before and after the video stopped. Im just hoping I can find some help here. Thanks again

Best I seen about Odin with a video http://www.samsungodindownload.com/odin-tutorial/ and this is the Odin I use http://forum.xda-developers.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=3109599&d=1420980613 Once you think you're ready http://forum.xda-developers.com/note-3-att/help/att-note-3-lollipop-t3100657 and post #4 has all the links you need. You are Lollipop so you WILL need to do all four files (first picture shows, if you try the All-In-One you will have problems). I'm on here everyday so if you need any help post here or send a message. I don't mind helping and NO, you do not have to donate to me.

Guys be very careful

Gents last week I bricked my new P9 lite VNS-L31C02B125 which was only 10 days old. I was downgrading from test keys N back to M. The phone went black and that was it with only fastboot mode access. I took my chances, handed in the phone back to the shop and luckily they gave me a new one.
As you us xda members only want the latest and best out there. The same day I received the phone I was on it again and boom it suffered the same death. But this time it died because I was looking for dual sim support. I had to go the way of DC-Phoenix this time revive the phone and boy it was not easy as I was now getting stuck at phone is now booting and could go into stock recovery and that is it.
Too cut the long story short and why I say be careful, there's a rom I downloaded here on XDA and can't recall exactly where and is labelled VNS-L31C432B130 got me confused, as it is the one that ended up helping my phone to come up from boot loop and ending up with dual sim and Nougat B370. Now my question and concern is how a B130 rom change to a B370? I think this is what got my first phone to brick as this is the rom I flashed when I was rolling back to M from N test keys thinking it is android M rom.
The good news is that am now sitting with a dual sim Nougat B370 :laugh::laugh::laugh:

There are people on the forums who wanted to update their phones without waiting for OTA and they brick their phones.
I warned some people on the forum and sadly, most of them called me a troll and other things.
Anyway, i'm happy that you solved your problem

Sounds like your typical XDA know-it-all cowboys that actually have little idea what they're doing. Hate when they do that, because when they release a ROM claiming to be safe it only puts your phone (and wallet) at risk.
That said, I just got one myself, how is development for this phone?

ReconX if you use Nougat
Medrom if you use MarshMallow

I got my P9 Lite a few days ago, and although I consider myself pretty knowledgeable when it comes to Huawei devices, coming from the P6 and G7, I'm not planning on updating to Nougat until I get my OTA. This forum is filled with posts about bricked devices, and I'm not in the mood to struggle getting my device back up and running again. [emoji23] I've learnt my lesson with the G7. [emoji13] Hopefully the wait for Nougat won't be too long. [emoji5]

actually, most people on this forum either want to update without waiting, or flash custom roms.
the whole point of this forum is to take a risk and try things, and if you brick your phone, unbrick it and try again till it works.
the way it works on the p9 lite forums is try something, brick your phone and complain about it instead of reading the instructions.
you can't even find the answers to problems on these forums because of the huge amount of threads about the same thing, "i tried this, but now my phone doesn't work anymore. fix it"
the only warning people need is that they could possibly brick their phone if they don't know what they're doing, and if they do, follow the instructions to fix it

I have been fooling around with xda for awhile, and im either retarded or just stupid. I still cant root my own phone, or do half the stuff ive been reading about forever. anyhow, the company one click root told me, that my new lg g6 ls993 cant be rooted. ive never [osted, but have read on this site, some of you guys are doing it. thnx, onearmjohn

after bricking a few S5s trying to root them, I ended up buying one prerooted off of eBay. then a couple more lol. after a couple years of playing with my rooted s5's I've decided to jump into trying to fix a couple of my bricked ones. so far I'm about 60hrs deep and still no luck. alot of progress thou. been reading like crazy and trying different things. I'm not asking for help yet but I will be. thanks guys

friggin right I got it. I'm not finished but I got one to boot up back to stock by following outdated galaxy s5 rooting. ahhh that feels good
