Dark shelf and notifications - OnePlus 3T Questions & Answers

I saw several screenshots where the shelf has dark widgets (manage center, recent apps etc.) and dark notifications but I can't find an option to enable this.
I already switched to the dark theme in display settings and rebooted, but neither shelf nor notifications switched to dark.
Can anyone help me?
I'm running stock OOS 4.0.2 rooted (clean flash).

[Q] ViperOne 6.2.0 - I can't get rid of this weird app bar in the notification panel

I love ViperOne, with the exception of the notification area (what you see when you pull down the status bar). I can disable the weather report easily enough, but it's the bar beneath it (it has icons for calculator, alarm, phone, and a few others) that I also want gone. I've Googled this issue, as well as trying every Venom tweak I thought would apply to this. I have HEQS, EQS, and quick launch turned off. I looked at the User Guide on the Venom website and followed the steps to no avail.
Can these six icons even be removed? I've attached a screen cap. You can see the set of icons at the top: alarm, calendar, camera, etc. I want them gone, please?
TIA.
EDIT: I figured it out. It didn't have anything to do with ViperOne - it was a new feature on the launcher I use.

Statusbar transparency issues in apps (lollipop)

Hi guys, so apparently my status bar can't turn transparent in apps. Instead it defaults to a light grey, almost white which is extremely annoying to look at. Google maps for example always keeps the status bar white when I know that it should be transparent (or at least the default dark grey). Only on the home screen I can get a transparent status bar but not in apps, which I tested with various apps comparing to me tablet.
I thought first that it is an issue with an exposed module but I disabled all of them did a reboot and it still won't turn transparent.
I can make Screenshots or upload a video if you don't get what I'm saying
Must be your ROM or an Exposed module. My stock Z3C does not have that issue on 5.1.1.
But what could it be, I have disabled all xposed modules and I still get it...
Btw i'm on stock .232 (expect root and xposed).
Screenshot attached Btw.
(e) nevermind just updated the xposed framework to .75 and now I have transparency.
Case closed.

[Q] Signal Icon not coloring

Hey, my signal icon is not coloring on apps that request that (google calendar, Nova Laucher (if you set icons to dark), and phonograph (same), and probably on other apps also). It always stays white.
Is this happening to anyone also?
I leave google calendar screenshot in attachment so you can see better.
I'm on stock 6.0 unrooted and stock recovery.

How to fix ALL night mode notifications? (Some stay white)

I don't understand why 99% of the notifications in the status bar work with night mode, but 1% doesn't.
This is not an issue on the lockscreen, because you can customize those notifications, however we can't customize the "normal" status bar notifications.
In this case the app causing a problem is pretty old, BUT, I use another app that's even older, it was even removed from the play store by now, and that one works fine.
Anyway, example for those that haven't seen it themselves:

Is there a way to fix this? I already tried systemui tuner but it's not in there.
PS Simply setting a black theme has the exact same effect.
I have the same issue and it's annoying.
Goodlock is the way to go!
>>quickstar settings. It allows you to change the background color of the notifications, notification drawer and also font color. I've set mine to deep black which I prefer better than dark gray in default night mode.
Goodlock app can be found in Galaxy store in selected countries. If you're in a country whwre goodlock is not available, there is a similar app in XDA which you can use.

I have goodlock, thanks, that changes all notifications, besides the one I'm having problems with.

Question Strange Background Color on Gmail widget?

Hi maybe someone can help me.
I'm using the phone on OxygenOS13. Theme is standard due to the fact that the theme store isn't working probably.
My problem is, after adding the gmail widget on my home screen it gets a light red background. My Gmail settings are dark mode and if I open Gmail it is darkgrey. But at my homescreen the widgets background color is an ugly light red and I have to clue how this can be changed or what causes this?
Does someone also have the same problem?
Greetings!

The widget seems to follow system colors maybe wallpaper based or the default ones that depends on what was your selection
Thank you for your reply. I tried changing the accent color. But this doesn't help. The background is the standard one. But I'll try changing it. Ist there a setting to toogle if it depends on the background or not?
I am having the same issue. When I change my background to solid black, it always adds a green tint to some apps and the keyboard. I have tried about every setting to stop it in the wallpaper and home screen options, but it won't. Not sure what to do.
**EDIT... I found the answer by some stroke of luck. It would seem it's a google thing. My accent color looks exactly like the full screen pic included in the post below. There is no way to turn it off. **
