Hello everyone,
I am having issues installing TWRP recovery on my Honor 5C NEM-AL10. build number: NEM-AL10C00B171-2 GRAM
The screen freeze on the recovery booting screen when I try to boot using "volume up + power" buttons.
My main goal here is to install a new European rom on my phone. In order to do so I need TWRP but I am so lost Hoping to find help here.
Here is what I tried at the moment :
• I unlocked my bootloader using this guide (unofficial method) : modaco.com/forums/topic/377348-how-to-bootloader-unlock-your-honor-5c-official-and-unofficial-methods
Eventhough I don't have an "unlock OEM" in develloper mode menu, everything went perfectly (I didn't noticed anything wrong at least)
• I installed adb drivers + adb and fastboot tools on my computer
•Then I tried to flash twrp from a link I found in a forum and I though it went okay but couldn't access TWRP using recovery boot. So I tried again flashing twrp-3.0.2-0-nemo.img from the official TWRP site using adb and fastboot line command :
C:\adb>fastboot flash recovery twrp-3.0.2-0-nemo.img

Everything seemed okay to me but still can't boot and I am stuck at this recovery screen. The only solution from there is to press volume down + power to shutdown the phone and then it boots again in normal mode
I sincerly hope someone has an idea on how to fix it. I'll keep searching but I must say I can't see what I am doing wrong :/. I'd be really thankfull is someone find me a solution !

Hi I am having the same issue NEM-L51 - i can flash twrp but can't boot back in it...i always get the default emui recovery... i tried a bunch of different versions of twrp and none has worked so far... (the link is dead for the one in the thread you provide)
my phone is unlocked.
any ideas ? I am using fastboot from a mac, would that be an issue ?

Do you have an unlocked bootloader? If so, you need to extract the boot.img file from the ROM's zip file and flash it manually in FASTBOOT USB mode using the command:
fastboot flash boot [path to boot.img]

OK then that is definitely your problem.
Flashing the boot.img file in FASTBOOT USB mode will fix you up.
You will also need to do this when you restore a backup in CWM. You will manually have to flash the boot.img in the backup directory on your SD card.
Now when I want to turn it on (normal or recovery) it will not turn on but when I want to charge the orange light flashes

How many times did you try that and have to pull the battery?

So have you been able to try flashing the boot.img file in FASTBOOT USB mode yet? Or is that what you are trying to do now?
If you have indeed pulled the battery several times yesterday as you stated, then it could be possible that you now have a damaged emmc chip in the phone and that is why it will not boot.

You need to extract the boot.img from the ROM's zip file and then copy it to the same directory where you have installed the fastboot.exe

When you unlocked your IncS using the HTCDEV.com site, it had instructions on setting up the Android SDK tools adb.exe and fastboot.exe on your PC. That is the directory you should copy the boot.img file to.
Then you would use the same instructions to put the phone in FASTBOOT USB mode like you did when you generated the unlock token, but you would enter the command:
fastboot flash boot boot.img

if not the correct section, apologize and move where appropriate
i would suggest see if u can find ruu for your modal here www.htc.com/us/support/rom-downloads.html , if the phone is totally bricked and wont turn on then u will i think need to disconect battery , if unable to take back to be fixed by place of purcahase and not able to get to fastboot due to bricking , then take back cover off , the battery connector isin top left corner of battery square removeing undercover to gain access to after removeing holding screws still felt more likley to breack phone so i cut top bar of under case to gain access to battery connector is simple push pull connector, once battery removed and no power to phone for some little tme after reconnecting is easy get acees to fastboot via power and vol down keys for 10sec remove vol down key after ten sec and u be in fastboot. all i can say is best of luck use a prise to lift that platic above circuit and cut if u want, if that is all is lost then nothing to loose. google replace screen to see what should be done but cut and bend is easiest if no refund is possible.

if u can get into fastboot mode then u only softbricked and can get unlock code from htcdev, once u unlocked bootloader then u can flash new boot and recovery signed imgs and then can restet your phone to factory settings. is howto unlock bootloader in this htc desire 626 forum and at htcdev, one thing to rem in cmd prompt when u click to mark text to copy for pasting enter pusts it into cashe so then when u paste u will paste what u highlighted in the cmd prompt.
already unlocked the bootloader but has original recovery. Instente and everything but I can only pass one RUU or a backup from another computer or ultimately a custom shape Custom Rom but can not find anything. In the internal memory is only the folder TWRP
well then u are soft bricked as if something working then is not hard bricked, i take it u have sdcard installed this should be easily accessed to install custom or stock rom .

I have not met and there is no custom rom for this RUU version
Apareció algo de esto? Tengo un problema, porque borré sin querer el laucher (Sense) y ahora el teléfono prende pero no veo los íconos ni puedo abrir las aplicaciones para seleccionar una. Restore from backup
You should be able to follow these steps to restore the TWRP Claro Backup available here:
1. Boot into TWRP Recovery
2. Backup your boot partition (DO NOT SKIP THIS STEP!)
3. Download the Claro TWRP Backup available here - https://www.dropbox.com/s/wn4y79efsrvwtwn/TWRP.rar?dl=0
4. Unrar the downloaded file
5. Copy the unrarred folder to your phone's internal storage at (\sdcard\TWRP\backups\<your random folder name here>)
6. Restore the Claro Backup
7. Wipe "Data", "Cache", "Dalvick Cache", and "Internal Storage" ONLY
8. Reboot phone

Installed retail version on it which is android 11 (don't know the previous version btw my region is pakistan and the device is testing piece Motorola confidential piece)
then i have installed twrp on it after that i have installed pixel experience on it and after the installation complete twrp reboots the phone and it hard bricked and on edl mode.
I also tried blankflash on lolinet site not worked and also tried blankflash from this thread (https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/unbrick-moto-g9-plus.4338703/) this is also not worked.
I need blankflash for this device please help

Hello everyone.Has anyone managed to root this phone cu android 10 ? I have A605FN AP_A605FNXXU8CVA1_CL23318745_QB48726655_REV00_user_low_ship_MULTI_CERT_meta_OS10.tar.md5 and I want to root it.I tried all the methods found on the forum and more, but I didn't succeed.I tried to install custom rom but without success.Every time after whatever I wanted to install, custom rom, twrp...etc, it remains block on the samsung logo.Can someone help me with a custom rom with root included or a possibility to root successfully?Thank you in advance for any help.
You probably have still locked bootloader. You need to follow that guide two times. First time to show and enable OEM unlock toggle, and second for actual unlock your bootloader.
Then you have to flash TWRP (instructions included in thread).

I followed the guide, I successfully unlocked the OEM, I installed Twrp successfully, I installed Disable Dm Very ForceEncrypt 04.03.2020 but it gave an error and when installing magisk it gave an error.After following the whole procedure, I restart the system and enter download mode. I am attaching pictures with the given errors. Please help me. Thank you.
On Samsung phones you need to format /data partition (not wipe - format) before, because it's encrypted. Then reboot to recovery and flash "DM-Verity" again.

I did exactly as you said, but when installing Dm-Verity it gives an error and at the end I restart the system and enter download mode. If you formatted /data partition already, then try to mount needed partitions in TWRP (Mount -> select needed partitions). And try to flash.
You can also use Multidisabler instead.
