Hi,
I know there was a similar thread somewhere, but i couldn't find it. So, lets start a new one.
Post your experiences with the most "heavy" games in the Motorola G3, and also, emulation gaming.
:good:

I think PS1 emulator should run perfect. N64 too. I have my thoughts with the PSP emulator, with some roms, like monster hunter or God of War.
The phone does just fine with gaming.
I could never get GTA sanandreas to work on my phone idk why.
Also when i used PPSSPP the graphics were not very impressive as i had expected it to be! Games i tried on PPSSPP:- DBZ-Tenkaichi Tag Team, SmackDownVsRaw and GOW Chains of Olympus
The heaviest game was probably Tekken on Psp emulator or Ratchet and clank also on psp emulator

Apparently, some emulator developers (besides the MAME dev, which is great) are starting to pick up on Open GL and put our GPU to some good use. The Doom port has already done so and runs perfect 3D and the MAME emu. is coming along nicely. Well thats great and all but where is our SNES emulator?! It's coming apparently and it appears to let you search for you own ROMs (an earlier NES emulator stuck you with a very limited and illegal amount of ROMs, lol) Well, enough talk! Here's the link...

(I don't work for these folks. I merely searched for NES/SNES emulators for Android. I thought more would be around now and soon since Open GL was added to 1.5 These folks and future developers deserve some recognition, I believe)
Looks promising! An SNES emulator is exactly what Android needs!
Sounds great hope they make an nes emulator too!
Yeah, I am also looking forward to a NES emulator. I think it will just run better. May be with a 600 mhz processor (and OpenGL plus GPU) we could run SNES/Sega just as fast though...
I appreciate the efforts, but they are a little rough on the eyes without a fit to screen option, since everything is real small. I hope the SDK allows for scaling without killing the frame rate - especially with sound on.
As soon as the MAME emu has scaling- I will donate $20 to it.
i need games emulator for xperia x1 android, thanx
Buy or Download GameBoid. It is a GBA emulator.
x2 screen option was made specially for X1(I asked him to implement it to get the best performance and gameplay on our X1 )
In a few days there will be a FPSE for Android, maybe X1 will get better performance on Android than on WM. Maybe soon there will be also new DMA code which will give us a lot of speed
There are nes, snes, gameboy, gameboy advance , sega master system, sega genesis emulators in the market. Just search for the consoles name in the market....
There also is one for playstation games, doesn't work too well tough...but a new one is about to arrive soon

Anyone can tell how FPSE works on our X1?
I mean on Android, not Windows Mobile.
I've tried Snesoid and Nesoid on the X1. Definitely not playing full speed, but quite better than Pocketsnes on windows mobile (x1).
Is anyone running snesoid / nesoid on the x1 at full speed here? everyone seems to recommend those and also talk about PS1 emulation as if snes/nes emulation was already working full speed. Am i missing something ?
SNES, NES are fully playable with MorphGear on WM
If Snesoid and Nesoid has double screen size(not full screen, not original) then you can play it very well. If not, try asking the developer of these applications to implement these resolution(I tried with GameBoid and he did it for me . It is the same dev, isn't it?)
Waiting for your response about FPSE
been using snesoid. not the free one coz you cant save on the lite version.
mapping the keys really helps a lot so you can play your games flawlessly. (almost)

Can anyone recommend the best emulators out there for SNES, N64 and PS1 games?

Well I know that for the most part n64 emulators arent really any good because of the roms, but I use n64oid. look for it online not the marketplace.
This might be the droid you are looking for. (scroll down bit in the first post) Also, this should generally go into Q&A.
Mupen64 seems to work well with OoT

FPse for PS1
Snesdroid, N64oid, and FPse.
My favorite is Neodroid though. The neo Geo games look great. I have the latest Metal Slug Games and all the fighting games. The roms don't take up much room either. Unlike PlayStation roms. Try downloading a few PlayStation roms into your nexus and watch your storage space disappear. No matter the size version you got. I keep a few classics, like Einhander, Marvel vs. Capcom, and Final Doom. I also use to have Strider and X-Men vs. Streetfighter and Bloody roar 2 or 3. Got rid of them to make room on prime. FPse is best PlayStation emulator. Allows you to use the open gl plugin which will dramatically increase the graphics quality of a ton of games. Like Einhander for example. It looks decent by itself but kinda pixelated on certain things. Add and enable the plugin and it looks better than even the original PlayStation version. Everything very crisp n sharp.
Can you tell me what is your experience with playing PSX games on milestone.
Is there any free emulator or I have to buy one. Which is the best?
I've used THIS.
It worked flawlessly but I think it depends on the game.
